kennykale:Lolz, isnt NL on Google? Lmao |
Tpoju:You says you plan right? So start then process then you would understand better, some started the process 2years ago and not even the 6months recommended. |
oyin4luv:What my eyes should not read does not exist on NL. You've directly and indirectly asked members here to do a family planning for you and your husband... like peeps bringing the other room matter to study Q&A is alright.... |
emeraldoe:Visiting visa durations are as follow; 1.6months, 2years, 5years, 10years. So yes, you must state what duration of the visiting visa you are applying for. 2. If you are not sponsoring any part of her visit you may not need to provide her with any documents. If you are sponsoring any parts of her visit you would provide to her documents as would be applicable. But wait, you says join, join you as dependent, visit or what? |
ammierie:If this agent says put your finger in a fire with/without knowledge of what the fire may do to your finger, would you go ahead with the agent's advise? |
ddee20150:Find what? Revolut, monzo? These are basically online banks, meaning they don't have branches across cities within the UK, though they may have a singular branch which in most would be located in London. E get why, they are not referred to as high streets banks.. |
Keeunicee:Why not, you have a legal status within the UK. |
Jenireva1:Well, that is a very possible scenario, when submitting the application somewhere in it, parts reads; that if an applicant applied for a long term visiting visa and the eco determines that was not necessary, the applicant could be issued a short-term visiting visa and is not entitled to a refund of fees paid for the long-term. |
Resurgent2016:I think you would need a consent letter from the mother as well or docs to show she's never been involved in the minor's life or as applicable to minor's circumstances and her parents. That's basically measures for checking kidnappers, trackfiking and skull miners... |
DareFerd:Ding, they must all be in love with that passport of yours... the wait shall not be in vain.. |
graceodini:That uk.gov website crashed on the 11.02.2022 at 4am like NIMC(NIN). It is undergoing maintenance. However, Ask you sister to carry along her vaccination card and Passenger locator form. She would be asked those at departing Airport in Nigeria, Qatar and when she arrives UK. When the UK.gov site is done with maintenance there maybe no covid rules at all. |
nwaogukings03:If it's a daunting task on their webpage, going through a proxy or an agent would be double daunting brouhaha. BTW, I'm not sure they are open to non-essential travels atm. |
Sykia:Lifebridge diagnostic center you do in the morning get your result 7:00pm, Note, that most private labs you see on NCDC website now do same day result and no need to do booking or advanced payment. Cost #39500 Regards |
nwaogukings03:Their official website, or find their embassy in Nigeria. |
africahero1:UNVACCINATED/NOT FULLY VACCINATED COVID TEST TO BE DONE- Not earlier than 48 hours before/to your JAPA time. you have traveled or not don't detect which test you do as the UK currently have no red list countries. https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/-visit for list of government and private labs approved in lagos and Nigera. |
Feyeemi:Pls what is your vaccination status, that may help guide you better. |
Feyeemi:At least visit the links, you won't get lost believe me. pretty straight forward. |
ictmikky:That is provided by the departure and arrival country's center for disease and control in regards to public health(for example CDC-USA, NCDC-nigeria, gov.uk-NHSN etc) Thus, for a recognized lab/test provider, you would have to visit the official website of these bodies. |
isialo:get a police report for lost of documents, then go for re-insurance of the birth certs that should suffice for reasons for recent dates on the birth certs (i.e stolen/lost of documents). Recent dates on documents is no crime if genuine. Don't give in to unnecessary fear of the unknown from a shallow op, that asks you to comitt forgery by backdating documents. He won't serve the 10 years ban with you and your family. The courts and appropriate authorities are there to make even future documents (like a WILL legal and binding). Thanks |
AmeliaT:Most banks advise you put in an application 14 days to your intended date of departure(for a personal travel Allowance) Once you have successfully filled and submitted an application on the platform you would get a mail that acknowledges your application for PTA and to notify you that your application is on the queue. Depending on what bank you chose and her branch determines how long the process is to be completed. Also, factors that causes delay are; long queues, some days the platform would be down and as such the banks and her branches would not be able to review PTA applications for that day, no forex funding to commercial banks from cbn which i believe is a deliberate act from the apex bank to kind of frustrate customers as commercial banks get large forex request and cbn maybe not being possible to meet all forex requests. Now personally, After I had submitted my application, I chose a branch where my account officer works, I did not wait for mails to drop as would as your application progresses, rather I visited the bank the next day and met with my account officer and explained how urgent and less time I had, he talked to the colleague in charge of forex transaction for the branch who then requested for all documents I submitted during my application which were; Passport, ticket (round trip), valid visa. After running all necessary checks as in line with CBN policies for such transaction, I received a mail on spot, that my application had been approved and is now on queue for disbursement. However, there was no forex funding from cbn for the next 2-3 banking days so I could not complete the transaction that week. Once there was funding, the forex staff called, that I could visit the branch later that day, and asked for my permission to go ahead to debit my account of funds needed for the pta transaction which I gave the green light to. Thus on this occasion I only had to visit with my passport, the PTA had been readied for pickup. Thus, the process could be completed within 2 banking days and may last beyond. You may want to fill the form now, tomorrow you follow up with a call/visit to the branch you will chose to know what next to do and what's situation of things like at the branch. Mind you, you may chose any branch whilst filling the form A and complete your transaction within any of the bank branches across a state or Nigeria and visiting a branch or the bank is not something of a must as I learned from some OP on NL Finally, I do not know if it were just a coincidence or not, but the platform at the banks usually works Tuesdays and Wednesdays, also banks get forex funding on these days, every other days were; no forex funding, platform is down, and such excuses. That may not be the case with your bank or this week, but you may want to target Tuesday and Wednesday and get the whole process done within 48 hours. Best of luck |
LuchiBianca:Thank you. If is to backdate a document, s/he don't see that as lies. |
dammytyty:How old is this baby? from my knowledge breastfeeding a baby for at least 6 months is of economical, health and emotional advantage to the mum and the baby. As a friend you claim to be, you should have rebuked the parents on the idea of going ahead with the travel. can the parents not defer the program for september intake? the school would have such offer i believe. I really don't see, how sensible it is to just quote 8 weeks and not being able to meet up with processing of documents as best appropriate and only option to achieve a study goal. Life comes in preferences. Like, whatever you and your friends wish, i hope good for you all, and wish the child the best future he could have and deserves. |
nice2men:What are lies in my text.... So the Form A you did at Zenith bank and UBA, did you not visit a branch? Did you complete the process in the sky? I am telling you how i went about mine(to my experience it read), i visited branch where i have my account officer, and made him talk with the Forex staff who went ahead to run checks on my documents and in line with CBN policy for such bank operations, and after i had met all requirements the staff went ahead with my customer's request. Now fill a Form A and not follow up, whilst another person does and do a follow up, lets know who will get PTA first. The only point the banks or branches have no influence is if the head office receives no forex funding for that day from CBN, then of course no branch would issue you a PTA regardless of whatever branch you visit.. |
WetinUGain:Dont mind him/her, He/she is resting in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't know why some people will come mislead people and then restort to calling God's name in vain and yet go to rest with Christ, whilst the people they may have misled suffer dire consequence(s). Rubbish netizen |
Xavier89:(Fully vaccinated) NO pre-departure test needed, but you must have your vaccination card and fill the PLF. |
WetinUGain:I mean that Tycoon027 of a folk is dishing out rubbish info. To my best of experience the reviewer and disburse person are within the bank which a customer indicated on the form A whilst registering. Once a customer had successfully filled the form A, visit any branch of your bank, most preferably visit a branch where you have your account officer or you know a bank staff who could help you talk to the forex staff to review your application, once the staff does so, and the customer had met all requirements, you will receive a mail that your form A, has been approved and that you are on the queue and would be contacted when funds are ready for disbursement. If the bank branch has the funds and continue the process, you will get another mail that your application is ready for disbursement. But, if a customer fills the form A and not make a move to any bank branch, your application will remain at the initial stage it were after you had successfully filled the form A application, until perhaps the forex staff of the branch you chose had finished dealing with people of their interest before it does a review of yours. And pending when the branch has forex would call the customer for disbursement of funds. Thus, the process could indeed be completed within hours if you follow the process with action of visiting your bank and could also take a month if you do nothing. |
Tycoon027:So as applicable to the op, you want her/him to go backdate that she has had legal custody/guardian of the child e.g since Oct 1, 1960 when that was not the case. You clearly don't understand what forgery is nor understand the possible implications of what you advising. |
Tycoon027:And what is moral of your back dating of documents If you have no idea about a question move on. There is not fishy about a genuine legal documents with recent date. It is within the legal rights of all parties involved to approach the appropriate court and make things legal and binding. What is actually fishy is you suggesting the op to back dates the documents and thus the op or the minor would become a meat to a 10years ban at the hands of UKVI. |

gracedan:You would need a court or legal documents that prescribes you as the legal guardian of the child, and this must be done by you before the child turns 14 years. So if the child is 14 already then you may want to seek other legal means as would be permissible and applicable to your circumstances. |
Slaiojel4u:Why does that seem rumor(s) to you? Have the immigration staff no right to ask for such? Did you not submit one for your visa application. Prepare for the worst hope for the best. Enjoy your studies. |
taiwolawal13:Good day Sir/Madam To my least understanding, TLS do not issue a visa, i mean they have no influence as to how soon a decision is taken in regards to your visa application, a visa is issued to you by the diplomatic post or consular section of an embassy, as such I am not entirely sure how the term "urgently" in getting your visa is a role of TLS. If you said in getting your traveling documents back when your application has been successful or not, then, that could've passed some test. But again, you should be aware that even this has some chains it goes through after TLS had handled an applicant's traveling documents and when an applicant receives his/her traveling documents( therefore, the terrible experience may not necessarily be TLS's doing). It would be wise if you did not wish yourself the text in red/crossed out, cause to my best of knowledge as of today, you can not complete a UK visa application in Nigeria without TLS being part of the process and offering applicants courier service(s) at some point. How? You visit TLS for biometrics and submission of supporting documents, do you not know, that after your biometrics, one of their role is offering and executing to you courier service(s), by transferring your supporting document to the DMC. Thus if agreeing to your point that they could do dirty on anyone, it thus mean and would be wise to add that, this would not just be one they do at the end product of a visa application but also at the early stage in which they are the only medium in transferring your supporting documents to DMC, and mind you, this you have absolutely no CHOICE, if you want to use them or not. They are humans, as such error is inevitable. Thank you |
