Divepen1: The allure of power often makes us overlook our values. Such was the story of Jagun Jagun, the film by Femi Adebayo, featuring Lateef Adedimeji, Gbotija, as a young man who became the servant of Ogundiji, the fearsome warrior. In his quest to hold on to love interest and also gain power, he unleashes his demons and lost almost everything. Afromnia brings these top things you might have missed in the film Jagun Jagun. Some of these things were brought to the forefront by social media users and critics. Warning: Spoilers ahead!!!
1. To start with, do you know that Oba Solomon was in Jagun Jagun. Who is Oba Solomon, then watch this video!!!! He was also a King here over Aje Village (Ilu Aje).
2. Aside Ogunjimi and the kings, every other person had their head skinned (Fadon)
3. Jimi Solanke was the voice of the narrator. Now, you must have seen him in Kongi’s Harvest or Sango.
4. It’s funny how the name of Jagun’s Wife wasn’t used throughtout the movie…
5. While there might have been several notable cameos like Odunlade starting the movie and Ibrahim Chatta ending it, you might have missed Niyi Johnson (Toyin Aimaku’s ex) acting the role of soldier Odunlade Adekola sent to get the crown. Yeah! That was him.
6. One cannot overlook how the Baobab tree (Igi Oshin) tried stopping Gbotija from going to school of Warriors. Was the tree
7. It's only Kings that are not using Ogundiji as their war machine are the only ones defeated in wars (the kingdom of Aje, Iwon and others).
8. Another foreshadow was when Kitan told Gbotija that he shouldn't say 'Agemo should kill him' (this happened after he defeated Gbogunomi, and he was scared of the next test)
9. Wehinwo can be spotted giving a tired soon-to-be Ogundiji's warrior water at the entrance of the school gate. It's this same kindness that resulted in his death.
10. Gbogunmi did with the “Things Fall Apart” line “This boy calls me father, I’m not suppose to have a hand in his death”

Obasempiree: Of recent many Top football stars have made shocking transfers to Saudi Arabia, from the likes to Ronaldo, benzema and many more. Aside the huge financial benefits attached to contracts given to players by Saudi clubs, what could be other reasons players might be going to Saudi Arabia. ?
jonapeters: The competition will be very High this time among the new governors
Man's truly a reverend. Interesting to see our clergymen explore the political space... I think we have a pastor governor too and even our former VP is a pastor too. Oh I remember, Tunde Bakare once ran for president...
We had a misunderstanding and she said shes done and i respect her decisions and move on with my life. now she has been sending all sort of insultive message saying i am living a fake life and shes now better than me and all that.
i have to reply her that i am not her enemy and still want the best for her. shes finding it difficult to move on and its just to sad thats this is happening.
Whats there in moving on and mature enough to know we are not enemies. i am just tired honestly
radiolover: I have sent possibly more than 80 applications and fortunately, I got called by a few.
I have exhausted scarce resources to attend interviews, editing and re-editing resumes to fit a certain role and position, cost of transportation, I don't want to even mention having to trek a long distance sometimes due to lack of fund to pay Tfare. I mean someone is broke and hungry and trying his best to land a job but he's rather receiving rejection mails. What is this?
On Monday, I received a rejection mail from automobile company where I applied for a marketing role. On Tuesday, I received another one from a production factory.
Now I just returned from another job hunting only to open my mail and saw another rejection mail. This very one pain me most because I had high hope on it and i have spent so much on it too. During the second stage of the interview, I can remember how I waited from 8am till 5pm just to see 'Oga', and after seeing him, I began to walk my way home and got home late. I know i'm sounding sentimental here but it's so annoying that i went through all that 'ontop empty belle' and at the end, I wasnt offered the job.
HanisahZuwy: This is a laptop bag with USB port. I would like to import it, but I don't know if it'll sell here in Nigeria. What do you think? Do you think I should import it or not? What would you rather I import instead? What would you advise me to import instead? I mean a fast moving product/products. I need your opinions/suggestions please. Thanks.
I also plan adding backpack. So that it won't be only laptop bag. What do you all think?

siofra: I understand this is Nigeria where people are crazy about connections. People think that because you're from their village, you're supposed to give them a free pass. They won't go through the normal process, and when you refuse, they start to hate you and spread rumours about you.
It is happening to me at the place I work. It's becoming too much because I won't budge. Sometimes I feel like crying. How do I get around this? Why won't people just do things the right way I've never expected anything from anyone because they are from my village or because I know them.
I feel like I won't be able to stand my ground any longer.
Regardless of the pressure, do what's right. It will pay off in the long run.
ijustdey: Traders are flocking to the Urals crude blend because they see the Nigerian grades as relatively pricey, with traders reluctant to offload the country’s cargoes.

HITsquad: She was posted on CNN official Instagram account a while ago, which was really great. But the comment section was really irritating! It got flooded by Nigerians as you would expect. But Instead of enjoying the moment as Nigerians, some were busy attacking everyone... playing the race card, accusing the international community of not giving her enough recognition because she was black and African. Seriously?
I don't understand how we think sometimes, why are we making this too much of a big deal? Hilda baci did an amazing job no doubt... She got her message out there too.. she showed the world that there are still positive things about Nigeria, She showed the world the Naija vibes and how supportive Nigerians can be. So we are proud of her... I'm personally proud of her.
But guys please stop overreacting. I don't know exactly what you guys think she did. Bro... She cooked for 100 hours non stop. which is amazing and not an easy task to accomplish.. So she did great! But she is not the first person to do something like that ok, alot of people have already done that in the past... but only slightly fewer hours. Remember say na another person record she dey break like this! And she probably won't hold it forever. (Infact The way you guys are going about this whole thing, person fit vex smash that record much more sooner) So stop acting like she did something "un-doable"...... stop acting like they should hand her over King Charles crown... Or name her among Albert Einstein and Da Vinci. Na only cook she cook it's not like she just discovered the cure for cancer!
Mek we just dey calm down a
Na your reaction? Let people overreact in peace as we don't usually have many good news to celebrate about.
lovediehatelive: I met this pretty homely girl sometimes ago.
She was reluctant the first time I toasted her and won't want to date me. However, I persisted till she succumbed.
She's everything I want in a lady. She didn't want to visit me when we started dating until one day I promised that I won't touch her.
She visited and was so graceful that I thanked the heavens for sending my soul mate to me.
We discussed a bit and I made her feel comfortable because she was really uneasy.
As promised, I didn't touch her. She felt so free that she rested her head on my chest.
The urge to kiss her became so strong, but I resisted.
What's the use of spoiling things now when she can be mine forever?
She later left and we became really close from then.
I was happy because she's madly beautiful yet so down to earth.
I was thinking she is a virgin but I needed to clarify.
So one day, I used talk to bring talk and stylishly told her a bit about some rough life of my past for her to feel uncomfortable.
She later opened up to me about her first kiss and how the guy went on to have sex with her even though he promised her nothing will happen.
She was 19 years then.
Since then she stopped visiting guys and is no longer in contact with the guy.
She swore that she hasn't kissed or had sex since then.
Now she's 23.
The thing is I really deeply love this girl because she's just exactly what I needed. But I promise myself that I will marry a virgin and nothing else.
My love for this girl is beginning to affect my thinking.
Should I ditch her and keep looking for a virgin?
Or should I continue with her?
I'm planning to see her people this December.
As long as she didn't lie and she opened up to you about it, I don't see any problem with that. Don't lose a gem because of something inconsequential
