The official Twitter handle of the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), earlier today tweeted "A famous actor, Aderemi Adedeji , had suffered from difficulty in walking for over two years. After all attempts to find a medical solution had failed, he decided to heed a friend’s advice to attend the meeting with Prophet T.B. Joshua where he received his instant healing!"
Chief Adedeji Aderemi, popularly known as Olofa-Ina, celebrated his 71st birthday earlier this month.
UbChapter: Nigeria seems hopeless and the humanity in Nigerians even more hopeless but there are things that happen around that point otherwise to the above assertions.
While anybody can make mistake in life as there's no one above mistake, this is how my sister mistakenly lost her purse inside a taxi she boarded to the market this morning in Calabar, Cross River state. Of course, anybody would immediately become traumatized losing his/her money in such a manner and definitely, her case wasn't different as she was traumatized and devastated regarding the incident.
The purse had her money (N18,500) and her cell phone inside. Luckily for her and as God would have it, a Nigerian by name Uche (just his first name) picked the purse from the taxi. He said he even showed the purse to the taxi driver and he (the taxi driver) wanted to collect the purse from him claiming he (the taxi driver) knows my sister very well and he's always been the one bringing her to the market when in reality, that's very far from the truth. Uche said it got to a point where he struggled the purse with the taxi driver as he was adamant in handing over the purse to the taxi driver and finally left with the purse.
As a good Nigerian, he opened the purse and started making contacts with people on how to get to my sister to come get her purse back (obviously looks like a dream in today's Nigeria). In no time, my sister ran to me and I called her line which the phone was in the purse. Someone picked which happened to be the said Uche. He directed us to where to meet him and swiftly we went. Brothers and sisters, behold, we met Uche with his colleagues in his place of work. Everything in the purse was still intact and he handed over the purse back to my sister in the presence of his colleagues. In thanking and trying to show appreciation, Uche declined any monetary appreciation and only received the "God bless you" as we were telling him.
This action of Uche has without doubts proven that all hope especially in humanity has not lost in this country. Looking at the present economic hardship in the country, some people would have rushed at this believing it's God that answered their prayer but today's case with Uche, the opposite was the case. My sister and I cannot thank him enough. This is why I want you guys to join in thanking Uche for being a sincere Nigerian and for whose act is rare to come by in today's Nigeria. Please help us thank and appreciate. This is the kind of people we should celebrate in this country.
Please let this go far by sharing it on other social media platforms. God bless Uche! God bless all sincere Nigerians!! God bless Nigeria!!!
Abdulazeez99: Attahiru Jega, former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC), has said patriotism means standing by the country and not the president, Igbere TV reports.
The former INEC chairman, who is also a member of the Nigerian Working Group on Peacebuilding and Governance, had with other members, including former Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Onaiyekan and retired military general, Martin Luther Agwai, criticized President Muhammadu Buhari last year, over the suffering of Nigerians from the insecurity to lives and property, as well as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the standards of living in the country.
He has also advised Buhari to restructure the country, in order to resolve the narrative of poor governance in the country and review the controversy regarding revenue allocation formula.
The 70-year-old man, Nicholas Akeh, who raped a five-year-old girl in Benue State has been brought to the Police Headquarters in Makurdi on Tuesday February 9, IgbereTV reports.

JidennaJason: GS Media Plus learnt that the yet to be identified lady began to struggle with the robbers and in the process, she was shot at close rage in her heart area.
She was giving the opportunity to surrender peacefully and remain alive, but she chose to sacrifices her life like N50 buns by struggling with the armed robbers.
What a foolish way to die.
I can't believe you typed such a derogatory statement about the deceased. Do you know what it meant to her losing everything she has? If she had borrowed money to start the legit hustle? If we had a better working system, she would have her business insured, her life and safety could have been better protected. I'm very sure if I dig a little more information about the victim, she must have had some sort of tertiary education which qualifies her to a better working and secured environment but our leaders don't priorities our lives or welfare as paramount. This could have happened to any of us. She was a victim of a failed system.
WriterNig: Sire Eneh Gozieboy, a Nigerian Borno state serving soldier, who celebrated his birthday with loaf of bread has received cake as his birthday present.
Recall that, Gozieboy had posted himself with loaf of bread on his birthday, claimed that, both bread and cake are all made from flour.
His birthday got the attention of so many Nigerians, who are well acquainted with the services the Nigerian soldiers are rendering in the face of Insurgency
In his recent post, he has received cake and other gifts from @rccolanigeria. He wrote;
jumper524: So earlier last year, my dad decided to go into yam business. The most common in my area kuje Abuja to be precise.
Since we're just starting, we bought seedlings worth of 40k. We later found out that seedlings are more expensive and scarce during farming/planting period. We got the land for free We paid farmers #20 per ridges and we dug about 500ridges. Meaning. #20*500= 10,000
Total money spent on investment was approximately#60,000 plus running cost.
The farmers were paid 6k to harvest the whole yam. Those guys started as early as 6am and we're done by 2pm just 3 of them.
Truck that packed it was paid 1k.
Pic 1 and 2, the big size yams we want to sell. Those buyers are pricing 45k
Pic 3 are the ones for home and family consumption. Any remainder would be added to seedlings.
Pics 4, the small yams we want to preserve as seedlings.
Think we got a lot from our investment in the end.
How many tubbers of yam are in the hips that are for sale?
Why waste your life saving on recording. I believe while growing, you must have met some musically inclined friends and some must have deviated into singing and making beats... Why not just stick to a very good producer who is your friend ... Y'all can grow together and achieve success... Well, the deed is done, next time just learn from it and never give up on your dreams... It's not by how far but how well... many might not know P2J but he is the producer behind Wizkid's Made in Lagos album. This dude didn't blow at a young age like Sarz, Pheelz, P. Prime or Young John but look at him today, not every Nigerian artiste can afford his services. I'm using him as an example cos I'm more inclined in the production aspect of music. I could hook you up with a couple of really dope underground producers and y'all can hopefully make magic in the nearest future. All the best
Emperormartin: Compliments of the season to all nairalanders...
Please I noticed a disturbing scenario playing in my house as I came back for xmas... My 67yr old dad use to smoke weed (Igbo) in our sitting room.
When we were younger, he use to smoke outside and occasionally smokes around the house especially late in the night or in the wee hours.
As a matter of fact I'm 30yrs and I have another younger brother who's 27yrs then my sister who's the youngest. But Non of us smoke weed or have toed in his line... My mother has tried in that aspect not to raise us like that!!!
I brought this issue here because I need help on how to make my aging dad DESIST from that lifestyle... It breaks my heart seeing him popping smoke like that and it's degrading when we have visitors in the house... And secondly I'm wary of his health!!!
Pls help a Brother!!!
has he misbehaved as a result of the weed? Does he perform his responsibility as a father and husband? If yes, you should let him be, I know it's embarrassing fro you but he has chosen this path and it's left from you to either emulate or resist from such. Glad your mother raised y'all away from it.
My uncle in the US flew us over and we spend Christmas and new year in Maryland, US. We visited Disney Land and went to various side attractions. On Christmas day my uncle and his wife roasted a very big turkey! Damn it was so delicious and juicy. When we were unwrapping gifts, my uncle got me with a PlayStation one which was like the biggest thing then... Ah! Na who slap me?!
