Bigleaf1006: Not so easy Bruh. I get one babe wey really like and admire me and she will do anything for me. When I found out that she has been with so many men, ladies and all sort of things, I just find it difficult to proceed as I am not a street boy myself. Never seen a girl like me that much but I was so confused whether past is the past or go out to find someone else. |

Romance / Why Do Girls Suddenly Want To Settle Down When We Meet? by LegitBoyy: 5:39am On Jul 13, 2022 |
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share this trend I have noticed in my relationship life with you all and see if anyone can relate to it. I have just noticed recently that most girls I meet will suddenly want to “settle”. You would wonder why this should be a problem right? Exactly. I am looking to getting into something serious myself so it should ordinarily not be a bad thing. However, I am seeing a pattern which is why I am worried. I have met quite a few girls recently and many of them who are obviously still very active players on the ’street’ and as soon as we get talking, they suddenly want to exit the ‘street’ and want something serious with me. For context, I will be 27years old in a few months, comfortably building a good career and a very calm person. It is not even about money or sort as many of them have met people with much more. I don’t know if any guy or lady out here actually understand my situation here? I am looking to go into something serious but this pattern just doesn’t look all okay with me. Is it because of my calm nature? Maybe a calm guy is suitable for a husband kind of situation right? For guys who have been in this situation, how did you dealt with it please? 72 Likes 5 Shares |

Phones / What Are The Alternatives To Iphone 13 Please? by LegitBoyy: 9:52am On Nov 03, 2021 |
Hello Phone enthusiasts, I really need to change my phone as it has been acting up lately. I am currently using iPhone X but i am not very keen on buying these latest iPhones as i feel they are very hyped. My problem is what phone can you buy that won't make you feel like you are missing out on iPhones? I am considering the Google Pixel 6 as an alternative but i don't know if it is going to be worth. Though i love good pictures but i am really doubting if it is worth splashing thousands of naira on a phone just because of pictures alone? it is like i want iPhone camera in a very good alternative brand. I will appreciate good suggestions. Thank you. |

Tats: I have been looking to switch to a BA role. Where do you think i can start from given that my background is law ? i really want to acquire a Business Analyst skill before i complete my Masters degree so i can look for practical experience during my 2years post study work visa. Is business analysis entirely different from business analytics? I know the switch is really not going to be easy but i am ready to make the sacrifice. |

Vecharry: Ordinarily, the supporting documents for your visa application should be stated on your CAS by your school. Once you have your certificate, CAS, bank statement/sponsorship letter, passport page, TB result and any document specifically requested for, you are good to go. Uploading your employment letter doesn't affect your application in any way. 3 Likes |

Sleektb: Hi, i really don't see the importance of mentioning your current Masters programme in your UK Masters application. It is not as if it gives you any competitive advantage over others or sort. Left to me, i would say you should apply for your UK admission without mentioning anything about your current study as it does improve your chances. 5 Likes |

Hello Nairalanders, Please I have an issue with my passport. The name arrangement on my Passport is John Oluwasegun Dayo but the arrangement on my other documents is John Oluwasegun Samson. I am processing an admission and i have already deposed to an affidavit in 2017 that I am the same person. I wanted to know if I can change the name arrangement on my passport before my visa time. Thank you all. |

Nairaland / General / When Cheap Is Expensive by LegitBoyy: 8:53pm On Feb 19, 2021 |
It is generally true that due to financial constraint and our peculiar circumstances, we always try to get things at the most affordable/cheapest price out there and I think this is normal for everyone. However, have you ever been in a situation where you went for something because of “cheap” price but end up being burnt ? Has your cheap ever become too expensive for you? I will share my experience. I am currently studying for my Masters in the UK and I traveled down here some weeks back. I needed a means of transportation for myself aside the regular public buses and trains. Since I can’t afford a car, I opted for a bicycle. My goto place to get used products and appliances is actually the “Facebook Market Place” where you can easily get all type of durable goods and products at durable prices. I noticed that the average price of used bicycles was 40 pounds on the market place after conducting my search. However, I saw a particular one listed for 15 pounds . I should have actually paid more attention to the details of the bicycle but I was carried away by the cheap price. I proceeded to purchase the bicycle for 15 pounds on Tuesday and brought it home. Guess what I have had to change today? The brake, gears, caution light, and chain! I have spent a total of 31 pounds just to put the bicycle ina usable condition and I never saw this coming in any way. The most annoying thing is that the quality is still not up to the durable ones that sells for 40 - 50 pounds. Reflecting on this now, I then realize I’m literally experiencing the popular saying that “Cheap is expensive” and can be costly! Have you been in a situation where you went for a cheap thing only to get burnt like me? Please share your story 2 Likes 1 Share |
