Pavarottii:Yes I did and very well sir. It would only have sounded truthful to ethnic bigots. |
Perhaps, Fani is not aware that those he can easily misguide do not have the ability to read epistles and he has most likely wasted his own time. Whoever can relay feedback to him should inform him that there are still a lot a lot of Yoruba/Southern Christians, who are very discerning and will not form opinions based on what a "highly" FFK keeps regurgitating just to maintain some relevance. I do not know why I keep praying for him to get a job quick or is there anyone who knows what our man does for a living other than getting "high" and churning out articles without sense of reasoning? |
Your highness!!! No be only Onikan/ Tarkwa Bay bridge the thing affect. If you check Apapa/Lekki bridge it has been like that since 1942. |
Witch hunting again.....? |
All promises pending when EFCC is ready for new money - Olatunde Ayeni |
onatisi:The forex you presume is sold to banks is not to them actually, they are sold to end users albeit through the banks. Such forex are only for approved transactions. By the way I did not write that the banks buy forex through the black market, they do interbank deals as well as purchasing from their customers who have forex inflows but need naira. |
DoctorTim:Approach your bank, being school fees, it will be processed at CBN rate. You will need the admission letter, NYSC discharge if Postgraduate her passport data page and you will be asked to complete a Form A. Not so difficult, but banks have policies on who you can pay for e.g some allow only spouse and children while others are less rigid. If the account you're buying from shares surname with the student, there'll be less questions. @Post, It has been emphasised here, it is not CBNs money that is used to settle your card transactions, it is what the Bank's sourced on their own and they could have bought at any amount low or high. |
They will give you the 1st available drug once you get to the hospital, but when your situation does not improve after 3 days, they will now start diagnoses. (Oga I don know wetin do your car, na so e dey do all Honda) They will discharge you when you're still ill and tell you don't worry it is because you just took treatment, you will be fine as you begin to walk around under the sun (That moment when you're hearing a strange sound and they're telling you it will normalize) |
I still wonder why Nigerians are so gullible that they want to pay money to secure something that has a process. Admission into schools have defined processes that if followed, can guarantee you the space you want. Agreeing to pay the N20,000.00 makes you culpable of corruption yourself. |
And also, why Nigerian Communications Commission is yet to do anything about MTN... |
Fantastic suggestion, but should not have come from a Governor who led hoodlums to go and beat-up Judges right in the Court rooms. |
OP good one , at least you knew the right thing to do. The typical Nigerians would have clustered around her doing nothing other than shaking heads. On your description, here's another problem with us Nigerians; to you, Ikeja Along is a perfect way to describe because you know it as it and assume that everyone should know it as it. How about if I tell you an incident happened at Checking Point in V/Island, Pelewura in Adeniji, Sandgrouse in Sura, Abule in Ikeja, Hospital on Allen, Alagomeji in Yaba? Can you honestly tell me you have a picture of all those places I listed? I bet at best you only know some and that's What probably happened to the call centre agent that received your call. To be fair to her, the call centre is not located around that area and she probably does not commute that route. In addition, do note that these people receive calls from all over Lagos and can honestly not know everywhere the way the locals know it. As such, you would have added that the accident happened on Agege Motor Road(on the side heading to Egbeda or heading to Oshodi), close to the pedestrian bridge by the Ikeja Rail way crossing intersection, which is a few metres away from Airport interchange. With the above, I bet a stranger will even understand better. My point is we need to improve our art of description in this country. Well done once again for helping a victim. |
@OP, whatever happens, just do ensure that you always check, heck and recheck your work as an accountant, because, your errors could cost a life in extreme scenarios. However, I must mention that the story looks so made-up and in a bid to even protect your identity, you were actually letting out unnecessary details. The big question I will ask first is if the October and November salary figures were different, how was the bank able to post using amount on the cover of cheque taken there by your company? Again, being an error discovered the same day, there is something called transaction reversal which banks' technology platforms allow. The funniest part that made the story sound so made up, was the part where you attributed the reason for the error to be because October schedule was the last item in your sent folder. Oga, could it be that since sending mail in October, you did not send any other one for a month? Revise your storry and send one with possible scenarios. |
People who grew up in Akobo area of Ibadan in the 80s to 90s and knew the Ogunwusi's and their side by side duplexes should know the true story. Ooni's position must be respected, hence it won't be right for one to talk about his personal life online. |
Agege stadium should be fine for you. |
For those asking why he did not mention Tinubu on the basis that Lagos and Delta states were involved, Strive did not at anytime insinuate that the investments by the state were laced with corruption. The events of the corruption were afterwards. Lagos did a $4 billion investment via its Ibile Holdings and sold out years after for $16 billion. Worthwhile if anyone asks me. On why he's not mentioning Tinubu, perhaps he was very smart or did not even have a personal gain in it against our presumptions. However, if anyone read between the lines he clandestinely mentioned Otudeko of which baba has been chopping from the company since its beginning till date. Simply, his owned companies have been service providers to Econet through its successors. |
The truthfulness of the writeup does not bother me as I will rather wait till the fullness of time to find out. I however need to point out the poor journalism evidenced in the quoted below. For God's sake, Arthur Anderson stopped existing anywhere in the world since the collapse of Enron in the mid 2000s "Shittu is a known antagonist of Governor Ajimobi. The governor first nominated his immediate past Commissioner for Finance, then withdrew the nomination for a senior staff of Arthur Anderson." |
The least favour you could have done yourself was to have read through comments before you, rather than your perpetuation of your knowledge gal. IPPIS started in OBJ 's time. ocelot2006: |
IPPIS is merely a payroll solution for Federal Government MDA's. It should not in anyway be referred to as a developmental project. It is simply having what ought to be. And to those saying this was a GEJ project, I must say you are all kids that need to learn a bit of history. It was a project started at the 1st coming of NOI (Ngozi Okonjo Iweala ). This is a fact I know. Since my own memory will not be a widely acceptable source, I did a 1 minute digging and found something for the blind folks below. http://www.punchng.com/opinion/the-discovery-of-45000-federal-ghost-workers/ and parastatals |
"Am" against I'm, "Will not have" against would not have. Please just acknowledge that you are an impostor. The grammar up there is too terrible to have come from a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. senobadara: |
Digression; Kyari won't be seen as a northerner until he is appointed into a bigger position. |
Any update yet? |

Your experience is not different from mine OP....Arik is somewhat an irresponsible organisation when it comes to handling customers' complaints. I had over 40 email exchanges with them at a time to get my own money back. Bring in the Consumer Protection Council - contact (at) cpc.gov.ng; cpc.lagos (at) yahoo.co.uk. Also bring in their following people (Not like I consider anyone of them responsible as well though.); Abiola Shodiya <abiola.shodiya@arikair.com> Prince Ahuchaogu <Prince.Ahuchaogu@arikair.com> Louis Okonye <Louis.Okonye@arikair.com> My permutation for Michael's email is also as follows, one of them must hit; Michael.Arumemi-Ikhide@arikair.com, Michael.Arumemi_Ikhide@arikair.com, Michael.Arumemi@arikair.com, Michael.Ikhide@arikair.com, Michael@arikair.com I wish you best of luck. |
However, Nigeria is on its 4th Republic and the incoming Senate is the 8th Senate. |
Chigold101:Never ever and ever compare GEJ with a more determinant Benjamin Netanyahu!!!! What insult? If only Mr. GEJ can deal with Boko boys in just 1/100 measure of how Netanyahu deals with Hezbollah and Hamas, then you can have a voice. Pending then, please never ever put him side by side the "America will know" president. Plus, Netanyahu is not exactly a neophyte in leadership. When Yizak Rabin of Labor party was assassinated in 1995, his successor, Shimon Peres was not a fantastic leader and Benjamin Netanyahu led Likud party to victory in 1996 to boot him out. I may not like B N but haba not to have him in a discourse on GEJ. |
Sunnybobo3:Oh oh.....it must have been APC propaganda that also locked us down on Marina last week, when lord GEJ came to the Stock Exchange. Beyond blocking of routes for cars, we were not even allowed to walk from one building to the other, thus locking a part of the economy for at least 2 hours. For how long shall this sickness continue? For another 4 years? |
How did we get to this situation in this country? Quick question, do vacancies now exist in government agencies, just to wait for who will pay for it? Who "eats" the money eventually? The GMD/CE, EDs, Directorate Head? Who exactly? That it was even considered at all tells me you will handle any place you find yourself with a corrupt mindset. Little wonder even gate men now think they should be tipped before you can enter any government office. Bros, please go and drop that attitude of paying to get a job, it is just not right, I loathe it!! Go for your M.Sc if there is a particular dream you are pursuing and you think having the degree will improve your lot in it. If this is not the case, put the fund in a money market investment that gives you returns every 90 days at least. The returns will be peanuts, but the fund is secure and you can always have it. In the midst of the foregoing, analyse your skill set and pursue rigorously, jobs you are confident you can handle by selling your skills. I beg let Nigeria's corruption table have one person dropping off it. |
Yemi Osinbajo and his brothers went to Corona school Lagos. Does the man up there looks like he once sent kids to Corona? With all respect to the man in the picture, there's no intention to paint him as a have-not. I'm certain he lives happily. By the way Yemi's elder brother Femi, was also a commissioner during Gbenga Daniel's tenure in Ogun state.... Will anyone still assume he is their father or brother? I am seeing here the wrong mentality of I must improve my family members' living condition while in government, even if I have to steal. |
Jayclinics:GSM 1st call was made in Aug/Sep 2001, so your dad couldn't have had his line sine 2000. Glo launched in late 03 so your mum also couldn't have had her line since 02. @Post Had an Econet SIM for 12 years and a Glo SIM for 8 years until they were stolen in December 2014. |
