Nigerian government had granted license to 32 thermal power stations, up till today no university in Nigeria is doing masters or a program in power technology and renewable energy. Denmark and Sweden have gone far in these area.
It is high time we look and think outside the box for stable power in naija.Oil and gas has been developed, we need to look toward sustainable development like coal clean technology etc.That is current trend all over the World

i am personally interested in renewable source of energy. have a lot of materials and personal write ups on that. but how do one bring such ideas to reality when one is not Goodluck?

I have been in this Industry as an entrepreneur and a Programmer!
The thing is Bespoke software can be used by any organization, but how many organizations can afford it?
We have therefore trimmed Industry participants to Government and Big organizations that's either funded by a lot of hard work, or funds stolen by the Government officials.
Anyways, Money is needed for good software to be produced. Who is ready to pay? Who would value your solution enough to pay that huge sum?
My point is, Government, who controls bulk of the economic activity in this country has to be ready to spend the right amount of time, energy and money into Software Development, and we're not talking about super inflating the contracts here!

who says we can have it now? thwese people are just politricking us. my hod once told us his tales. in 1978 when obasanjo inaugurated the Nigeria atomic agency, he was fortunate to be among the chosen one. he said after the inaugural meetings, official cars and take off grant were given to the officials and members of the committee. he said that at that time many of them were motivated by such a move and thus ready to work even without any pay. they waited for further instructions, but non came. after many trails, many of them even went to the directorate headquarter to make inquires on the next step to take, but the reply they got was that there is no message from the then aso rock (dodan barrack). that was how the tempo gragually decayed to zero.

well, as for me, i had put up a lot of research papers in my university days and even did my final year projects on these fields. its a pity that these papers are lying fallow in my library. 2019 is a period say for people in pry 6 now. how are we synthesizing them by preparing them for these task? well, i don't know if i will still be alive then because it is a long time from now, but if i am, of what relevant will i, or many of our present professionals be by then, i am sure, many would have resigned from the labour market then.

a web developer is never and will never be a programmer. its like calling somebody who uses corel draw a progarmmer. a web page and a page designed with graphics program are similar, it is just the format of the document that makes the difference. an html for web page and jpeg for graphics.
althougth modern web page involves some aspect of scripting and programming, but what can you say about people who also run macroscripts on ms word and excel, are they also programmers.
been a programmer invovles a lot of tranning in logical thinking which you can never get by just entering some set of library codes or copy and paste. when you click a menu or an icon say in words, some scripts are runned and a command is exercuted. thus that makes you a programmer? but if you can form the script yourself by your own slf and runned it on the computer, then you are a programmer.

rap all started with curtis blow with releases such as holiday back in 1982. it  has transfomed into a culture and way of life in the late 80's. mtv intially refused to show rap musical videos, but have no option by showing the run dmc video, becoming the first musical video to be shown on mtv. well, ll cool j's i need love  is the first rap album to sell in the millions making a sales of 3 million copy. this song is so powerful that in todays tage, i is still evergreen. then came public enemy whose rap music influence violent in america. nwa started the gangstar lyrics. i generally came to love rap when i heared queen latefa. not forgetting the 2 live crew, the group that started the sex thing in rap and musical videos.it is a pitty that with the exception of few rapers now such as jazzy,smooth shady,kay west, many of the so called rap musics are trash

thats a lot of money today by nigerians standard. more than 80% of families in the country survives less than 20k per month. it is you who is leaving above you income or standard of living. tell me, which type of house do you live?,how much do you pay for your childrens school fees e.t.c i have seen people who are earning a million every month and still are complainning, so its better you cut your cloth according to your size.
