Imagine Football Clubs as Nigerian Musicians, This is the club they stand for. See below:- 1. Davido – PSG Because Davido got to the top because of money and has been consistent since then. 2. 2face – Real Madrid 2face has been awesome ever since and despite the influx of crazy and talented young musicians, He is still a boss in the industry. 3. Skales – Arsenal FC Because he’s so close to making it, yet always so far. 4. D’banj – Manchester United D’banj like Man-U was always hitting it hard and the best till he changed management . 5. Burna boy – West Ham He is very good but never really gets the recognition he deserves. 6. D’Prince – West Brom Known but hugely irrelevant. 7. Pasuma – Juventus He is bossing it in a league of his own (Fuji). 8. Seyi Shay – Aston Villa Always making silly (in her case grammatical) errors and embarrassing herself. 9. Patoranking – Athletico Madrid Patoranking came from nothing to try and upset the big boys. 10. Olu maintain – QPR Gets relegated, bounces back, gets relegated again. 11. Lynxx – Manchester City Although Lynxx made it because of the money, he has been hugely inconsistent. 12. Darey Alade – Barcelona Very good, sings with this charisma that only he has. One of the best. 13. Viktoh – Sassuolo That’s right, so irrelevant, 99.9% irrelevant! 14. Adekunle Gold – Dortmund Came from nowhere, is very good and is loved by all. 15. Sinzu – Valencia Your time at the top is over. Just stop making music. 16. Ice Prince – Chelsea Made it, then started singing/playing rubbish. 17. Vector – Liverpool Very consistent and doing fine but still underrated. 18. Olamide – Tottenham Knows how to sing/rap/play.. Very relevant but the noise is too much… Respect! 19. Ycee – Leicester City Came from nothing and hugely making it. 20. B-red – Monaco Very useless, upon all the money! 21. 9ice – AC Milan His era of dominance is over. 22. Reekado Banks – Watford He’s making a promising start so far. 23. Sina Rambo – Portsmouth That one still dey sing/play sef? 24. Phyno – Napoli Nobody understands him but he’s making it. This list is just for Fun!!

No fewer than 40 lock-up shops with different auto spare parts worth millions of naira were on Wednesday morning destroyed by early morning fire at the Ladipo Auto-Market in Mushin, Lagos State. The Director, Lagos State Fire Service, Mr Rasak Fadipe, who confirmed this disclosed that the fire started at about 1 a.m. On April 20, more than 50 shops with assorted vehicle spare parts were burnt at the Osoro Section of the market. Fadipe said that when his office got information about the inferno, his fire fighters were unable to access the scene of fire due to a clash that happened in the area during the night. “We got a call at about 1.20 a.m., but we could not move into the complex at Odushina Street, Papa-Ajao, Mushin, scene of the fire due to a fight going on in the area. “The Divisional Police Officer at Olosan Police Station, Mushin, led us with his patrol vehicles to the scene before we were able to put out the fire at about 4.46 a.m. “There were no cases of death or injuries recorded from the inferno. “My men, however, saw some people with blood all over their bodies, which they suspected were injuries from the fight, “ he said. Mr Nkire Ezeigbo, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the auto-market, said that the clash was caused by alleged collection of illegal fees. Ezeigbo said that some hoodlums were allegedly collecting illegal parking fees from traders on Odushina and Olapeju Streets. “The traders with shops in these streets are the people parking their cars in front of their shops, but some area boys came and started collecting money for parking. “It was when the traders resisted them (hoodlums) that the fight broke out. The hoodlums destroyed the windscreens of some of the vehicles parked in the two streets and set others ablaze. “Fire from some of the vehicles set ablaze by the hoodlums may have spread to the complex where shops and goods were burnt. “The leadership of the market would meet this morning to investigate the immediate and remote causes of the clash and the fire incident,“ Ezeigbo said. http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2016/05/18/fire-destroys-40-shops-in-ladipo-auto-market/

The recruitment of 10,000 policemen by the Police Service Commission (PSC) will begin today. President Muhammadu Buhari, last year, at the National Security Summit in Abuja directed the recruitment of 10,000 Nigerians into the force to address the shortfall in manpower. Speaking on the recruitment yesterday, the PSC Chairman, Mike Okiro, warned its workers, who would be involved in the screening of candidates, to avoid any act that would compromise the integrity of the exercise. He said any worker involved in any misconduct during the exercise would be sanctioned in line with the public service rules and may be prosecuted for sabotage. The PSC chairman urged candidates to desist from indulging or inducing the commission’s workers as anyone caught would be arrested and prosecuted. He spoke in a statement in Abuja yesterday by the commission’s Head of Press and Public Relation Unit, Ikechukwu Ani. The statement reads: “Staff must live above board as the commission is ready to make a huge success of this presidential assignment in line with its resolution to discharge its duties within the ambit of the law, transparently, and according to laid down rules. “The Nigeria Police Force deserves the best brains in the Nigerian society and the commission will ensure that only the best will be engaged as policemen, who will sustain the cherished tradition of the Force and help to maintain peace as well as securing life and property of Nigerians and non-Nigerians.” He reiterated that there will be no short cut in the exercise as everything has been put in place to ensure that the integrity of the process is preserved at all stages of the exercise. http://thenationonlineng.net/psc-warns-extortion-police-begin-recruitment-10000/ |

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State on Saturday verbally attacked fiery Muslim preacher, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, at a prayer session in Ado-Ekiti. BY SAHARA REPORTERS, NEW YORKMAR 29, 2016 Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State on Saturday verbally attacked fiery Muslim preacher, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, at a prayer session in Ado-Ekiti. Ayodele Fayose led thugs to beat up judges The cleric had courted the governor’s venom by urging him to show more decorum in his public utterances. The altercation took place during a prayer conference and award ceremony organised by the Southwest branch of the Ansar-ud-Deen Muslim Society of Nigeria between March 25 and 28. On Saturday, Fayose was in attendance at the event, which had as highlights prayers for the country and the honouring of deserving Muslims with awards, when the outspoken preacher offered his advice. Those at the event said the preacher told Fayose that as the Number One citizen of the state, he needs to be more cautious in his public utterances. The unsolicited advice apparently did not sit well with the governor, they said, as he responded with abusive words at the preacher, who attempted to reply him but was restrained by some of the elders in attendance. His microphone was disabled. The elders also appealed to the governor to leave the venue, having already performed his role, but he bluntly refused, an action that led to a three-hour disruption of the programme. The governor subsequently left the event, which ended on Monday morning. Attempts to interview the cleric, who was present until Sunday, proved abortive. Mr. Lere Olayinka, Special Assistant to Fayose on New Media, expressed the view that the cleric deserved the insults the governor drenched him in. http://saharareporters.com/2016/03/29/gov-fayose-attacks-muslim-cleric-sheikh-muhydeen-over-advice-exercise-decorum |
