UBA has landed with a fantastic result. Or am I seeing double. PE looks like slightly less than 2. Final Dividend move up slightly from N0.80 to N0.90 bringing total dividend to N1.1 The market will surely push it up to a new level!!. How far up ?

I do not know if its access bank or something else. But all my dividends that come through access bank always develop k-leg. I am yet to recieve my Totalenergies interim dividend since December.
Registrar says their record shows they paid me since 9th december. Access bank says that cannot be true. My account statement does not have a record of such payment. Note that I have had to call before getting most of my dividends from UBA and Ucap last year.

Correct, many sophisticated investors will not put there head into the 10.44% because based on historical data after qualification date it looses close to 50 % of market value and recovers towards December.

Confirmed... but the purported amount actually includes the 30 kobo interim dividend in 2022.

So N2.90 as final div payout.

That was the least I expected from them.
Anyway, when is the qualification and payment dates?

Wanted to buy more just now at N8.00 only to see it has resisted staying on that spot and currently selling at N8.1. Bought last week Friday at N8.4 with an outstanding order from Thursday that I forgot to cancel before the SVB news came in plus some other negative sentiments. At the moment right now bids outstrip offers six times. Abeg make them release the results so that we can get a little more info on what's up.

Many stocks started to disappoint lately. Look at Guinness and NBrew for example. 2020 was a bad year and they all released terrible results. And afterwards, they started to release good results (especially Guinness) and at a point paid N7 as dividend to the delight of investors. Based on this, I even forecasted that the stock could rise to N300 at the top price. But these companies seem to be producing shitty results lately and this could affect the brewers and send them very low again. As in very very low.

We wait and see how they both trade.

A megre N1.50 proposed... which is just approx 33% of earnings cap.
I had expected a bit more (ref: N2-2.5) given how the coys CCC, CGPR, CRB, JPMG, and NCR all printed better benchmark ahead of earnings delivery... with the last 3, ensuring you have an MoS @ 0.7x of current mkt peg.

But DS is obviously a BUY @ present price levels.
Intrinsic value @ near 61% above CMP (ref: N30.5 racking-off surrounding risk)

Rating: Retained at outperform.

My preference is for zenith. However the two are good at current price and you can save yourself any headache in choice by buying the two in your preferred ratio.
