ZarZar: I see. I don't pay much attention to Mmusi lol. So, now who is the current Ghanaian president & how has his leadership been so far? Because I know, people never quite get satisfied!
What can you tell me about the other forum? The current President is Nana Akufo-Addo. He's a prominent lawyer who's won landmark cases in the country. This is his 3rd time contesting and finally winning. He's the son of a former President and from one of Ghana's iconic families. In fact his father, uncle and grand uncle were part of the 6 people who played active roles in granting Ghana independence. Yesterday marked his 100 days in office, it's not perfect but he's achieved some remarkable things such a's tax reduction and some taxes abolished. Totally free seconary education for everyone, increased foreign reserve, stronger currency, and others. The forum is like NL but a bit more interactive even though not much users yet. www.nigerianbase.com Kindly register so I keep tabs on you what moniker will you be using? |

ZarZar: I don't like him lol. So anything he says sounds off the left field to me but I guess he's endearing to some. Who knew? You're correct about the ANC. It's a former shadow of itself, governed by greed & corruption. Hopefully something will change & leadership exchange hands in the next round of elections. Meh. Ghanaian you say. How are things over there? Mahama is out, right? Hahahaha, I knew you won't like him. I have this SA friend since 2013, she doesn't like him too. If you don't like Malema, I doubt you'll like Mmusi Mmaimani... and yea Mahama had to go, totally incompetent soul and corrupt. I voted for him in 2012 cos I expected much from him and he's an old boy of my Uni hall of residence (we regard alma mater stuff very highly in Ghana), but boy did he dissappoint. Every week was one scandal to another and incompetence laden governance. So in 2016 it was a massive vote against him. He lost in a landslide defeat. The nation was fed-up. I want to invite you to join a rival NL forum though if you will... |

ZarZar: lol @ you listen to Julius. Him of all people? I hope he didn't leave any lasting impressions. Yeah "nne" is one of those space-fillers we use in our everyday vocab. Lol, you'll find it strange but I love Julius Malema and his EFF cronies like Ndlozi and Floyd Shivambu. I think he's making great sense but a large section of SA don't want to see it. The current ANC is not the same ANC Madiba gave us. I'm Ghanaian though |

Lordkylie: if I may say so myself. YES YES YES!!!!!!! Lol, but why will you want to intentionally be a drama queen and cause unwarranted stress in the relationship? |
Romance › Re: The Women To Avoid by LePrezident(op): 10:56am On Apr 17, 2017 |
Lordkylie: #teamdramaqueen while I kinda agree with the op ,I must also point out that the above depends on the kind of man in question. After all, person talk say lazy girl na somebody sweetheart or something like that.A man who is irresponsible will most likely attract such women bottom line (I feel weird saying bottom) guys who can't deal should run away from such women. Nice write up So you're a drama queen? |

Romance › Re: The Women To Avoid by LePrezident(op): 8:10am On Apr 17, 2017 |
funmisticqueen: simple, i dont have time to think of at least 15 types of men to avoid, not that i cant, why would i do that when i know it would only cause strife on the forum between men and women. You should finish what you started and balance things out if not it would be safe to assume that you are a misogynist. Plus if i did the alternate post, i would come up with at least 25. Errrm you know you're funny right? Going on and om about misogynist, lol. If you look at the article carefully, a link was provided which shows I'm not the author of the article. I only share here cos I knew it'll generate interesting debate. I didn't author a single letter of the write-up. I believe the article has some truths to it, however it shouldn't be taken as the Gospel on relationships hook, line and sinker. Meanwhile can you kindly join our new forum www.nigerianbase.comThanks. |

Romance › Re: Who Wants To See Lashort?? by LePrezident(m): 8:32pm On Apr 16, 2017 |
Lashort: Codedly asking for a pm? Utterly rubbish! (what do you think I am, a runs girl) smh!
This is my 2nd week in nairaland so I'm new. The main reason why I asked him that question in the first place is because I responded a pm and I panicked, I've avoided some, but for some reason it happened that I responded this other pm and I was worried that the person was able to see who I am. Don't know how but that's what I thought at that moment
So I checked for how long lepresident has had this app and I thought maybe he would give a satisfying answer but the answer that he gave me is the kind of answer that I would think of myself, it was helpful a bit, well kind of. I was expecting Something intelligent and useful but I was displeased. I'm grateful that he took his time to respond though And I'll be grateful if you register on nigerianbase.com Thank you |
Romance › Re: Who Wants To See Lashort?? by LePrezident(m): 6:27pm On Apr 16, 2017 |
flames007: well I think she kinda confused.maybe that's her own way of asking for a PM but doing it codedly who knows. But she should be upfront and just say it na, why be complicated. I wasn't too sure if that's what she meant, you know how NL ladies behave, u go and send pm now and they ignore; it's a beautiful Easter Sunday, don't want to be forward and send pm to be ignored. |

But you should learn to keep your wrong assumptions and inane insinuations to yourself. Trust me...it'll do you a lotta good.
I'm not a guy and whether you choose to believe that or not will in no way affect the price of sanitary pads so I'm less concerned. Just stay off my mentions.
May the resurrection power of Christ Jesus revive your dead and inactive brain cells.
Happy Easter. You know there's not trophy gained when you reply rudely right? And additionally you do not bring our Lord and Master Christ Jesus in the centre of such a situation |

Lashort: What's the reprocautions of answering a pm Can the person see your initials Pm where? On nigerianbase.com or here on NL. For nigerianbase.com there's a chat option. For here on NL, it goes straight to the email you registered your moniker with. So I guess the person only gets your email address. |
