The current situation where most state governments do nothing to improve the economy of their states because they know that at the end of every month they will go to Abuja and collect money is the main source of corruption and ineptitude in the country today.
If true federalism is adopted by Nigeria, state governors will be more accountable as they will no longer be able to hide under the excuse of putting the blame of the lack of development on the federal govt.
They will find innovative ways to attract investment to there state or risk being left behind.

All the countries with cheaper fuel prices than Nigeria, refine the product themselves.
