I went for monthly shopping and spent over 100k on provisions and childcare items. Put them in a barrow and was following the barrow closely. Told him to wait while i buy cashew nut and he stopped. Took my eyes off him for maybe one minute and he dissapered. I searcher the whole mareket foor over 4hours, reported to market security . . . No sign of him.

That's how I lost everything I bought that day.

Had to come back the next day to buy the exact same items. So annoying and frustrating.

Thanks for your response, its much appreciated. I already have a masters and would have gotten ITA if i made the decision to go spouse unaccompanied earlier. I thought I had time, untill Coronavirus happened. I probably should have started the french lesson from the beginning of the lockdown, but better late than never.

Hi, thanks for all your efforts and guidance on this thread.

I'm currently on 457 spouse unaccompanied and I've maxed out IELTS. I finally decided yesterday to try TEF because by October I'll lose points for age. I only know basic french but I'm a fast learner.

I plan to write in October, registed in duolingo and some other online french classes. Could you estimate how many points the lowest band (4?) would give me? I'm assuming i should at least be able to get that with 3months of intensive practice.

This topic is actually raised to address the issue of average families where both spouse earn little, but also when the man is taking care of the basic responsibility of house rent,school fees, PHCN bills, DStv, security and lawma. Etc.

My question is since the woman is also a working class, especially when she earns more than the man. Is it proper for the man to hire a house help for the domestic work.

Let the woman fund the househelp. The man is already doing enough and the househelp is there to help with her own dutues as a wife while she pursues her career. The least she could do is pay for it.

That being said, if the man cab afford it let him go ahead. This does not have to be an issue. In the end he will receive God's blessings for his sacrifice.

Hubby is into biz, while I did a bank job.
I pay the nanny monthly. 90% of times, i paid the kids school fees before hubby would even know.I make sure I stock the house with toiletries and some groceries every month. I buy clothes for my kids, when I see their uniforms/ school bags, shoes and food flasks/lunch bags aren't good enough, I change them straight without looking back. I buy my clothes. Sometimes hubby does. As I do all these, I wasn't ever compelled. I wasn't either asked to. Out of my church mind I do these even more.
On Hubby's side, he stocks the house with foodstuffs every time. He doesn't give me money as most times I don't need it. I have access to all his accounts and most times we run his little business together. When I lost my job, I didn't have need for a nanny again, I paid her off cos she was a nice lady. Hubby took every responsibility 100%, but I still feel bad cos I don't want the biz money to run down.
As for your question, it depends on understanding. Be sincere to each other and in that way, you won't mind who pays what.

I'm sorry madam, but you are getting it all wrong. The role of a man is to cater for the family. You need to give your husband the opportunity to do that so that God can reward him.

Maybe you losing your job is God's way of making your husband step up, and now that he has God wilk bless and expand his business. Don't interfere please. Concentrate on growing your children spiritually and otherwise, that is your own role.

Even if you must have a career, always give your husband the opportunity to take care of the home from his sweat, and help ONLY when he asks for your help. Let him play his own role and receive God's blessings too.

Hi, I have been married for 9 years now, the problem I have with my husband is that his family members keeps sucking him dry and the way he neglects us his immediate family.
He is the first child of 7 children, his siblings even the married ladies keeps asking him for money, he keeps spending money on them and their husbands. He always complains he has no more, but once his family calls him he sends money immediately. I have saved enough to buy a land and I am not planning to include his name in the property. I don't know what to deal with, his family entitlement mentality or the way he neglects the kids and I and treat us like outsiders.

In my quest for peace of mind during the waiting period, I decided to get carried away with the thoughts of "WHAT IF". For those who are about to submit, trust me on this, you'll get infected with this thought - No doubt.

The "WHAT IF" sickness is so long and dull as to having your summer being on the Sahara desert. Well, during one of my "WHAT IF" mind game, I started to think of the possibilities of rejection and how to prepare for the trauma, in the event that it happens - Sad! I know you'ld say so. But if you're already post-AOR, I am a million sure you've been infected with this thought already, and should you be about to submit, welcome on board, you'll surely face the same - It's universal and for all I care, it's harmless.

While luxuriating in my endless sad thoughts, I stumbled on these reasons given below on why most applications get the infamous "rejection" and the beauty here is most important for those that are about to submit. Please ensure you look out properly for the below before your submission. It is better to have a late submission than to have a sorry application - Rejection! And to those who have submitted already, please note that you can always raise a CSE to rectify any inadequacy before the VO (Visa Officer) notices - In most cases, CSE is reliable and should get the job done.

MOST COMMON REASONS WHY ANY APPLICATION CAN GET A REJECTION

So, below are the most common reasons why applications get rejected - This is taken from the Consolidated eAPR on myimmitracker website.

My EE got refused due to there is no duties and responsibilities mentioned in the letter even though I provided paystubs, T4, NOA

I declared having two Bachelor’s degree credentials as I earned One Degree n Three Diplomas. However, according to the educational credential equivalency assessment (ECA) issued by WES,I understand they have the equivalent of one Bachelor’s degree (four years) that is highest education degree. I mmigration Officer/s have recalculated my CRS points according to my actual level of education and my CRS score has fallen below that of the lowest-ranked candidate invited to apply in Round 53 of invitations.

(I contacted CIC using webform on 10th April, telling them about my PCCs are in progress.Then i uploaded my PCCs on 20th April using webform) (application got cancelled on 28th stating not providing full PCCs which btw i uploaded through webform)

The application was cancelled for being incomplete. We have provided a police certificate issued by the state police. It must be issued by the Brazilian Federal Police.

The reason is stated as incomplete application. The Kazakhstan judicial organs were not able to provide a police certificate in time, therefore I have sent after applying in March an official letter confirming that we have requested this police certificate, via case specific entry. However, the letter explaining cancellation said that they cancelled because they did not see this confirmation letter and therefore think we haven't made enough letter.

Uploaded only ECA and missed putting in the educational degree and they rejected instead of asking for the doc

I lived in Chennai and Bangalore. The problem was I didn't get the PCC via the indian embassy but directly from the Chennai police. The PCC letter says they don't have any records of any criminal wrongdoing IN chennai.
So CIC got back saying that this letter doesn't cover bangalore, so the entire application is cancelled. the UAE PCC wasn't a problem

The PCC I requested through the embassy was a certificate of good conduct ( same as the one delivered in the province I leaved) that is normally used interchangeable with the one delivered at the central office of Judiciary Police situated in the capital city ( Kinshasa) that issues an extract of the criminal record. Both are PCCs . The only difference is that the latter is only issued for immigration purposes and the first one for administrative purposes. I was not aware of the difference and neither is the officer at the embassy. It is only after the rejection letter in which IRCC pointed me to the correct competent office and the correct document that would be acceptable to them.

My spouse has a PhD, and this one was written in Latin (it's a old university and they like to used the Latin language) so he requested to have one in English, and he had it. It was the same as the Latin one but just on the top : translated from the English. So when we submitted our case we just uploaded the English one and not the Latin one. That's explain the failure even if we had an EDE

PCC Does not cover entire period of stay in india. That,s the reason they provided. Actually, I got PCC from SSP chandigarh and it mentioned my period of stay at current address. So, maybe thats why.

The Police certificate from Pakistan that you provided with your application is not acceptable as it does not cover the full period of time spent in Pakistan during your first period of residence there. You have indicated in your address/personal history that you resided in Pakistan from November 5, 1987 to June 12, 2008. The police certificate that you provided covers the period from Birth to May 2008.

I selected US in country of education since the university is not a legal entity in Brazil. Sis, I weighed my options and made a quick decision to take my husband off my application because of the points I was going to lose. Thankfully I got the ITA before the pandemic blew up. I probably would have been resentful if I had to wait in the pool for God knows how long. Please guys, if adding your hubby would weigh your scores down you can take him out and when you get the PPR, apply for spousal visa.

If you are claiming points for your degree the you need to get them asessed. You need WES. Even if you are not the primary applicant.

I think this is the best bet. I was 451 and was already losing hope, untill this lockdown when I saw the points dropping. I quickly removed hubby (and he is not happy about it at all), but I'm up to 457 and I'm hopeful.

Back in August last year my score was 458. Without hubby it would have been 465. But I refused to remove him. I thought the points Will drop, I was wrong. And I regretted the decision. In October I lost 8 points for age and the points kept rising. It's better to make hay when the sun shines.

The truth is spousal visas are easy to get with PR. No need wasting your time.

Hello, #letskeeptalking, there's a pressing issues I want us to talk about.

I met this young man (married) about 6 months ago in my place of work. I have to admit that he's a very handsome, intelligent and successful man and if we both weren't married we (probably) would have been involved in a romantic relationship. But we are both married and very well aware of that. We have never, at any point in time engaged in, or even discussed any romantic or out of line topic. We are strictly just friends.

From the first time we met, we found out that we were very comfortable with each other and became close friends . We talked about everything and anything . . . Our spouses, kids, prayer life, future e.t.c. Sometimes we talk into the middle of the night sometimes, or even early hours of the morning. We just generally enjoy each other's company. My husband knows about him, and his wife knows about me.

So my question is, should I feel guilty about it, OR should I relax and let the friendship grow further?
