I just came across a common statement on Nairaland few minutes ago, and it got me wondering, what is wrong with our people..



many persons make similar statements to this and it makes me worry about "What you think Nigeria is"

It seems the arrest of Ramon Abbas aka "Hushpuppi" seems to reawaken everyone to the existence of Internet Fraud, but the truth is that it has always been with us, and would always be here if we keep waiting for just EFCC to put a stop to it.

What have you done to combat crime in our society??

internet fraud (Yahoo-yahoo, G-boys), ponzi or other types of fraud have become a very common event in our daily lives. We tend to know or have heard of people that engage in these events, but we keep quiet about it, for one reason or the other, maybe because they are our friends or family.

How many of Our friends who are into Internet Fraud (G-boys), whether they have hit or not, have you reported to the Police or EFCC??

we tend to forget that, "It is these same individuals (G-boys), who engage in all these acts of fraud, & hit it big tomorrow that would use those money to contest for election with well-meaning individuals like yourself and win you, because you do not have enough money to spend like them, regardless of what your motives or plans are.

After they win and get there, they'd continue their G-boys on a political level, with their looting, and then you'd come on Nairaland or twitter to complain.

Just imagine Hushpuppi was to run for senate tomorrow, who would win Him with all the money he has to spend??

Also on other other side, most youths and young persons, students, etc that go onto cyber-crime is due to "Peer Pressure/Influence". if you see someone you know from Adam, who is just at your level or maybe you are even better than the person, all of a sudden, riding big cars, and buying houses for himself or his parents, you'd start thinking about why you cannot achieve the same, and then you'd be ready to do whatever it takes to do that, however legal or illegal.
You will then encourage yourself with the fact that many people are doing it, and that there is corruption everywhere.

my dear, the problems of Nigeria are You & I.... let's not deviate it or run away from it!!!

this is & has always been my own Stand!!!

If you want our country to change, it begins from you and I. You can start by reporting those friends of yours who are into various kinds of frauds (from ponzi to large scale BEC) to the Police or EFCC, and let's worry about whether nothing was done or not....

start from the root & protect the future...

Until we are ready to do that, our country would remain the way it is, if not worse, because, the G-boys would continue to make money & run for various elective positions in government, and when that happens, they'd have the public funds, security & other elements of government at their disposals to do what they like..

Nigeria cannot be better until its Citizens decide to be better, because, we are the present & future government.

Nothing is wrong with western they ain't been inforce in case you're unaware according to the Nigeria Constitution a male can't be raped and we are supposed to be following the western constitution which say any sexual act on a person below the act of consent,unable to give consent or obtained by force,threat, coercion,alchol or drugs is rape . The Nigeria Constitution selected the part they want and wrote female in it. By law males are protected by the Constitution in Nigeria ...Don't blame the western laws blame your government

Over a month ago, oil sold for about $20 and pump price was reduced to N123. Now oil price has risen over $40 and pump price has increased. If oil price rises further to say $80, pump price would surely rise again, except we want govt to resume paying subsidy.

The title of this report is actually misleading; government didn't increase oil price, rather pump price has just increased in line with global oil prices.

I thought the president promised during his campaign against Jonathan that he won't pay subsidy and that's why PMS was been sold for 143 naira ever since he entered Office.... So why am I now hearing about he has removed subsidy ? Is it possible to remove subsidy again after you've removed it the first time ? If he has just removed it then why was the price of petrol increase by almost 80% in his first term of ruling ?

and what's the legal definition of rape . What I know about the definition of rape is this " sexual activity with a person below the age of consent or sexual activity with a person that's unable to give consent due to the. Influence of drugs, alcohol, metal illness or sexual activity with a person without obtaining consent or by threats .
I want other people to give their inputs and I want to know how the law in Nigeria actually defines "Rape' and why the names of female rapist ain't being published or been prosecuted....

Actually something similar happened to someone close to me a fraudster gained access to her account and withdraw 15k from her account so I sent an email 2 actually to fcmb, I even sent a msg on their WhatsApp platform .We had to call the customer care 3 days after the incident and after been placed on hold for over 35mins . The customer service agent said they would rectify the issue, it took them another 3 days to send a text confirming the request has been fulfilled and an extra 5 weeks to reply to the email.
I am yet to receive a reply on the WhatsApp ...

Okay assassin's creed revelations has been fixed it's working now . I had to delete the prototype the graphics is just too damn old

All my games are offline , I just downloaded assassin's creed revelations but it's bringing up a login screen I will have to look for the crack, if it can't work offline then an deleting it

How many of it have you finished....? got tired of playing video games... in all my games I sent you on WhatsApp is only NFS the run, Tomb Raider and battlefield 3 that have finished...some get lost in the middle of the game other no way even playing with PC trainer..it really gives me headache and when am not happy them go just dey kill me or scoring me...more than 2 weeks now I never play games and I on my pc almost everyday na movie.

In as much as I hate racism who exactly sold our brothers sisters uncles aunts cousins and children to the whites It's our fellow black brothers in our country Nigeria if you have a police case against a white man who do you think the police will support (White man) Even when south Africans were killing and looting the businesses of Nigerians what did our government do nothing even if was wrong Nigerians choose to retaliate by doing the same to their business here in Nigeria but what was the response of our police (lots of people were arrested and so many patrol vans were sent to protect the premises of ShopRite and the others .. Question becomes are the Nigeria police more efficient, equipped and inform than their counterparts in South-African.
The only solution to this problems is if our leaders will have a change of heart and develop our countries.

DMC 3 is actually a very cheap game the bosses are super easy provided you study their pattern an use your brains, when talking about hard then it's Dark souls series in that freaking game their is no difficulty level and you don't have to meet a boss or a mini boss to die literally every single enemy can kill you. Just image darksouls as a game where you play against other players of different skills strengths and abilities I started this because all enemies can do everything you can (attack heavy attack dodge block deflect use healing use ranged weapons use shields use spell and if you run they chase you)

Who can give me pc games for free am close ikotun I will settle your T-fare (I had games but my HDD crashed so I lost all of them)

Funny enough no bill has been proposed to stop embezzling and entire basic amenities are provided for the masses
