I agree with HURIWA completely; the Army should cover its face in shame. RIP to the departed. |
Apparently Nigerians have lost confidence in whatever statement the President/presidency puts out. Having said that, it baffles me how terrorists can easily overpower our “trained” military/security forces. Is that how low our security system have been reduced to? SMH in disbelief. May the souls of the departed Rest In Peace. Amen |
VeryWickedMan:Exactly! |
Are these ones even Catholics? How can a Catholic disobey the instructions of the church hierarchy in support of a priest whose utterances are clearly bringing disrepute to priesthood? |
bottlewater1:. It's for your security and good. You should encourage them. |
How can security challenges end when we have people like a sleepy IGP in the helms of affairs?! |
Es350:Pls let's not allow those challenges discourage us. I dare say giving because of these challenges has brought these crop of leaders on us. |
Do these guys even have the moral justification to allude to zoning? How convenient to discuss zoning for chairmanship but not for presidential ticket?! |
I don't want to believe this news. This is simply stupid! |
helinues:You may want to read the statement again? Is that how to condemn an evil act? The so-called elites are rather urging these urchins on. |
This is terrible. And the ministers are shamelessly showcasing stupidity in the name of contesting for elective positions. Abeg make I have my siblings go learn handwork in the intervening period. |
The headline is kinda misleading. If no Nigerian university is in the top global universities, how has Nigerian graduates qualified for the exemption? |
Agreed. But why being silent about the Ministers declaring up and down yet refused to resign? Are their offices any less sensitive? They continue gallivanting across the country, yet don't think it's okay to resign. |
SarkinYarki:Thank you. Our leaders and misplaced priorities are like 5 and 6. If you want tariffs to crash, encourage more competition. They’re rather discouraging prospective investors with this kind of action. This is basic economics… smh! |
victorv12:the idea is to pack them like logs of wood like their dead brains are. In fact, I would prefer they were all logged into just that one van. I no pity for the woods beneath at all! |
Where do these ragtags get guns from?! Since govt can’t do anything about identifying, shaming and prosecuting the financiers, maybe we can only continue to say “God punish these terrorists and their financiers”. |
When people talk of abusive relationships, the default interpretation seems to be domestic violence, especially against women. Violence should be condemned in its entirety. However, I see verbal abuses to be of equal scale as physical violence. The men are mostly at the receiving end of this abuse. They’ll then be enduring it continually because “you’re the man nah! You need to endure it; You need to understand she’s a woman; you’ve to make it work; just apologize even though you’re not at fault; ….” And so many of such narratives. Frankly, the verbal abuse is one of the major catalyst for physical violence in homes. We must condemn all form of violences in their entirety. |
Kobojunkie:... Exactly. And share recorded evidences of his threats with the police. |
I would imagine that 7pm was still within the peak of the travel period in Lagos. Should the BRT stop working at that time? |
SultanOfPuna: |
This is reasonable, considering the avalanche of unnecessary electoral litigation on such matters. We should devote more time and effort to identifying and electing right persons, rather than these irrelevant matters. Left for me, they should have included timelines to ensure such cases are closed before the elections. |
Have you considered working from the office? Or is your office not accessible? |
I have suffered this as a first time international traveller in 2017. You can imagine being asked questions like: "where's your letter of invitation?" "Show me evidence of what you're traveling for". In my mind I was like: "Am traveling out of your country, dumbass". Omo, that's how they kept delaying me o. And as a JJC, I was getting too anxious to go board. So I offered to give them N3k, but they were like "wetin we be to you? Small children that you will be giving Naira". I had to part with my precious $100 (about N35k at the time). After giving them, they were like: "if you didn't give us from your heart talk o". In mind I was like: "you don't know how cursed that money is to you". I vowed that day that such thing will never happen to me again. Heartless human beings. |
Mercychen:Even though you have a point, it's so wrong how people abuse other people's kindness. Talking out of personal experiences. Some people basically get themselves on your payroll even though they don't work for you. That one doesn't say no to people's requests (a lot of which are wicked lies), doesn't mean that should be abused. That's wickedness. Some will come with pretence of borrowing, but never plan to pay. I feel the OP completely. |
OnlineArchitect:Can a typical civil servant or even most Nigerian afford a 51k PCR test every 72 hours? |

Please they need to watch out for bullets. |
Did I hear "I want to come down "? ![]() |
These so called pundits cause problems in clubs. If someone else did that, it wouldn't have been disrespectful. But Messi did it and it's disrespectful. Bottom line was that goal was avoided in the process. |
I'm glad they're becoming aware that their actions and inactions are beginning to create safe havens for heartless politicians to perpetuate evil. It's well o! |
What the Bleep is this? Is it not same vaccines they use that are being sent to Africa? Should we be skeptical about the version of the vaccines being sent to Africa? Abeg person get trip in Dec o! They shouldn't do any how o! |
Judah95:Honestly the calculation didn't exactly add up. I was expecting to read something like she left a banking job in Nigeria for a Dubai offer, but behold it's Amsterdam. Well, good to know she's gotten else. |
