safo99:Thanks my bro for your understanding. Google doesn't really own a phone. They contract it to OEM . first OEM was HTC , makercof g1 when android debuted. Both Samsung, LG and currently Motorola makes Google devices. So they can't really be in direct competition. For instance, LG makes for Google but they don't put their killer features like tap to wake on their Google phones. Same with sammy and HTC. Besides Google only makes these phones to showcase android undiluted; stock android since Samsung tweaks thiers with touchwiz, LG with optimus, HTC with HTC sense. |
TrapLORD:In all honesty she won't. |
firstEVA:You didn't reply my last email, sugar. Never mind her, she made a condescension here on Bsc holders , and when I politely called her to defend her remarks, she threw up a fit like the imposter she is. Anyways, I've gently nudged her into the corners of my trashcan. She can fume all she may, I have elected not to care. But you, your entrance here is pure surprise. Have you travelled? You're the only trap I don't mind walking into. ![]() |

ollah1:Bro, As soon as Google made a move to acquire android Nokia reaction is, and I Quote verbatim : Google is coming to disrupt the mobile market". This was way back in 2006. Please don't make this personal. Nokia saw it coming, I saw it coming. That's why they bought all of symbian and open sourced it hoping to stall Google. That's why they reinvented the S60 touch starting with the 5800, remember? Because they knew it was time. We saw it coming. And when I meant we, I'm referring to GSM affectionadoes that were addicts from the days of palm OS, UIQ, S60, to windows mobile and Java/feature phones. I don't want to make this personal in the line you chose but android and IOS are like yesterday to me. I have bought a 512mb memory card for 8,500 Naira then when they were no 2gb memory card yet. I used the first Nokia mega pixel camera phone Nokia 7610 that was just 1 mega pixel camera and followed by the 3230 1.2mp and 6630 1.3mp. That's the history I'm coming from, bro. We were already far deep into GSM when android was only a rumour. That's it. Take it however you may. It's all an opinion. So long. |
ollah1: I didn't know I was coming off as self-praising. My apologies.Let me try to answer your questions. When Google was rumouring to buy android, we all new if it worked it would be the end to symbian. How? Because Nokia had the biggest stakes in symbian and owned S60 all to itself. Samsung, Siemens, Sendo, etc were paying Nokia per unit of every S60 phone they shiped. Nokia was making money from them and still beating them to the market with better software integration and hardware compatibility. On top of this, Nokia often released the latest symbian on its devices before its rivaling OEM that uses same OS. There was little choice so Samsung and other had little choice. And then Google with no interests in mobile market was rumouring android to make completely open sourced . Nokia cried foul and bought all of symbian including UIQ (the SonyEricsson UI of symbian) and made it open sourced too. But there's still one problem, Nokia still had a controlling share and is an OEM to be competing directly with other same OEM's in the project. WE KNEW THEN THAT GOOGLE WILL FLY HIGH.It's one of the reasons, though not entirely why Nokia was so reluctant to join the android train. On, the Firefox OS, some of the reasons above holds true here too. They are not an OEM and will have no motive to seek personal advantage in market share. They can create and pull a bigger ecosystem than Samsung. Hope I'm clear, at least, understood. |
PussySandie:And you're a master degree or PhD holder? Let me sum it for you: I'm guessing you had your Bsc (but I honestly doubt if you went the entire distance without swapping your pen for a diick). And you're still without a job, (judging by your cheap choice of clothing and footwear and utter lack of grace). Then you proceeded to your PhD still without a job. Girl you lack sophistication even for a cosmopolitan secondary school girl. You obviously think throwing your lowgrade and slummy pictures so lacking in flare will win you easy validation and notoriety amongst your peerage in nairaland? ![]() You're a village girl still learning the rops to social sophistication. Firstly, your make-up is that of a common _slut; needy, noisy and screaming to be noticed. With eyelashes betraying your desperate need for social validation. You and your social circles still look dependent, having never worked for their entire living. Your look is a tad near average, not that bad actually, but your facial expression and camera pose are still unsophisticated and depict a total lack of self confidence, exposure and self- knowledge. I can see the desperation and burning need for social approval in your eyes. Stop trying too hard, dear. Elegance is something unknown to your genes. You're not born with style. |
ollah1: I've been too long in the mobile game not to be able to make acfairly accurate projection.Long before Android came, we know symbian was going down. So Nokia hurriedly bought the entire stake and granted it near-open policy status. But It failed due to its poor ecosystem and Nokia being the best selling mobile brand who all others including Samsung, Siemens, Ericsson--later SonyEricsson, etc saw as too ambitious. Remember even Samsung was licencing S60 from Nokia then. Samsung is in that same shoe today trying to float a new mobile OS. I tell you, Firefox mobile OS stands a better chance than Tizen. When Nokia teamed up with Intel to create meego, it still failed. I think OEM's want the Microsoft experience. Let a none active company hold the OS not a fellow OEM. |
TrapLORD:Oh, she's among the intellectually vulnerable blown by every academic wind. No where in the world is Bsc ordinary. |
PussySandie:I know a logical answer is beyond your mental efforts. But no, I don't care to indulge your petty penchant for idle banter. I only desire to point you to your educational destitution. I wish you luck in your desperate attempts here to relive your failed dreams of being a porn-star and nude-celebrity. Your pics have no class by the way. You're a cheap, drowning Jane by all account. |
PussySandie: PussySandie:And What's wrong in holding a Bsc? How do you make it a point of ridicule? It would have been comical if it weren't so unsettlingly disturbing. |
safo99:India alone can't change mobile roadmap. Android is still number one in india. The growth of a platform in a single country can't be used as a success indicator. safo99:BlackBerry is fated in a sudden eventual death that is nigh. BlackBerry has been dead the world over even when it was so hyped in Nigeria. Many European countries and middle East countries has banned the use of the OS and device. Not even in USA and Canada is BlackBerry OS a big thing. safo99:You mean samsung's own home developers. Which third party software developer will invest effort, time and money to develope programme for an OS that has no clear roadmap, that is not a leading OS in any country or region? An OS that has only two mobile phone devices running on it? Samsung can use PR and pay low-level developers to promote this OS but it will eventually head the path of Bada. safo99:You mean it works flawlessly with Samsung gear/mobile wristwatches? That's not same as a mobile phone. It took Google years to attain a reasonable stability. Beside an OS can only survive based on the ecosystem the developer and maintainers can build. Samsung doesn't have it and never will. Tizen is for accessories, that's where it will end up eventually. So you think, HTC, sony, LG, Nokia, etc will in the future use Tizen? Laughs. OEMs building OS, those days died with Nokia. And that's one of the key reasons android survived, apart from its open source policy; All the OEM supported it because Google was a none competitor and thus trusted. If Tizen succeeds, Samsung will have an advantage over other OEM. Cant work. |
Weeee:The combination of poverty and illiteracy is the most potent force any false pastor needs to enlave his followers. Africa, especially Nigeria has the most ignorantly religious who expect miracles without work. After politicians and GSM operators, I believe churches rake in the biggest revenue without even employing people. Church ushers, sweepers , etc get peanuts, if any, while some pastors run the church as a family business. Their wives soon earn the title as "Mama", or " mommy" and is revered as the next-in-command without any or much spiritual gifts or endowment. Their son is being prepped up to succeed the father as head pastor. His only qualification is of course being the pastor's son. The business must remain within the family. You have individuals with dynamic personalities as pastors just because they are charismatic in nature, they sway the crowd especially foolish women with peanut-sized brains. These are people who should have been marketers in banks, or sales persons in big firms or PRO in a large organisation, but why opt for the long and tedious path when you have millions of gullible and spiritually blind folks waiting to be ripped off and become your spiritual slave? |
petaling:Oh, Tizen will be shrouded in doubt and then fail just like Bada did. Samsung doesn't have the muscle or experience to pull off an operating system now that each operating systems rely on ecosystem to survive. That's one of the reasons Samsung's Bada OS failed spectacularly. Don't forget Samsung doesn't even take credit for Tizen . you remember meego? It used to be Meamo or something --that joint project OS from Nokia and Intel that powered Nokia N9 and N900. That's the OS Samsung picked and dusted then tweaked a little and calls it Tizen. In the world of competing OEM's, No one will trust an Operating system built by another OEM who will be competing with them on same market. It is one of the reasons S60 wasn't really trusted back in the days of Nokia's dominance. We expect to see Tizen confined to Samsung gears and cameras at best. |
TrapLORD:I tell you, after taking and giving knocks in the political and auto sections as well the technological side, I often come to cool off here and recuperate before heading back . 2016 is starting great I must confess. |
TrapLORD: Man, I've been in Enugu since 4th pursing 2016 with a rage. If there aren't so many bimbos in Romance section, the shallow guys won't be all around here boring us with sickening topics and empty lines. Romans section is where all of Nairaland's emotionally and intellectually corrupted and stunted are domiciled. Unfortunately, lately, it is where I elect to come play. |
TrapLORD:Man, that's so true. Trolling has always been for the intellectually apt and mind readers who have a broad knowledge base. Now we have teenage bullies and cyber-nuisance corrupting the beauty of trolling. Have to go underground especially when modern definition of troll has become synonymous with bullying and online baseless intimidation. |
kayoade09:When does employers determine your salary by your grade? Whether you made ordinary Pass or 3rd class or 2.2 or 1st class, you're a Bsc holder and that will determine your salary structure. Dumb graduates these days with dumb mods taking thrash to front page. |
Carnations:[/s] There's nothing as a Virgin man. If a man makes it his priority to aquire a virgin wife, let it be. It is a good thing. Don't use clever, verbose wording to discourage them. Oh, yes, in sexual situations, they'll always be two standards of measurement: One for men and the other for women. You can't changed that. Stop the _bullshit. Sex takes place inside you and does magic to your sense of layalty, bonding, emotions and all. For men, it is often but not always different. Oh, and a virgin wife has a lot less baggage coming into marriage. She's more teachable, amendable and much more tolerant. |
Henry240: Bwahahaha, can't stop laughing.I'm still in holiday mood but I'm coming for all you Southies soon. 2016 is the year all you Zulus and quazi Bantus tap out. ![]() |
auhanson:Thanks Op for this. Can you please give us any name of engine flush product we could use ? |
neutrotoba:I wish the bolded isn't part of your other wise beautiful submission. Nothing can ever justify the disregard of a competent court of law in any civilised country. It is counterproductive and set a horrible precedent for abuse of power and authority. If kalu is granted bail by any competed court, it becomes the duty of the Nigerian police and DSS to keep a tag on him--that's their job. Disobeying and flaunting court order by the president to solve a legal matter is like taking a medication whose cure is only worse than the ailment. Soon if the Senate President, or IG or a Governor disobeys a court order, has the presidency not thrown away its moral right and justification in calling for the inviolability of the rule of law? |
TrapLORD:I don't know much about Dogs, bro but I like the special breed like this. |
TrapLORD:Cute and Smart-looking he is. Big for his age. You feed him well. |
