That wasn't Buratai. That was a Chillean soldier as far back as 2016. ...and what's with this rush to score any political goal at this moment. The only thing that can polish the image of Buratai and the army he leads is to capture the real Shekau and deliver him to Nigerians. |
Masquerade Easter What's the correlation? |
Ok |
So be it! The victory recorded by the Chadians must have jolted the Nigerian army. Please sir, go and do the needful. No excuses. God purge Nigeria. |
Nothing surprises me again. They are capable of anything accused of. |
Hmmnn! Hope the governor is doing this based on expert advice. If civil servants can go to work, then workers of private establishment too should be allowed to go to work. This means that cab drivers and other transporters will be able to work. If can drivers can work, then the gas stations and other structured markets should be able to open. At the end, everyone should be able to go about their businesses WITH FACE MASK on |
It really does not make any sense to me. If the Chinese company feels uncomfortable with Nigerian doctors, they could have as well evacuated their citizens back to China just as some other countries did, instead of importing doctors to Nigeria. There's something they are hiding from the public. |
The President may not be aware of most of those press releases in his name. Take for instance the issue of school feeding in his last speech. Till this moment, no one has been able to explain how school children will be fed when schools are under lock. This gaffee is one too many but like the previous ones, we'll just talk about it for a day or two until it's overtaken by events. Someone hasn't done his job well enough. |
Racoon:Diplomatic face off? When they just graciously allowed us the services of their 10 wise medical experts. ...and just gifted us a plane load of medical materials. It appears we are at the mercy of the Chinese at this moment. |
Wegodeyaiit:But what sort of disjointed news is this? |
I would have been surprised if he has acted in the contrary. This is perhaps the ideal thing to do. The only worry is how to help the citizens alleviate the economic pains of the lockdown. Those in charge of the palliatives should at least fear the Devil, because it appears they don't fear God |
I'm no longer surprised. Is it not the same government that says school feeding programme will continue when it's the government that had earlier ordered lockdown of schools nationwide. There seems to be lack of co-ordination and direction. |
She added that the law (FoI Act) forbids making public the names of beneficiaries of grants without their consent. “Section 14 of the FoI Act says people who receive social grants should not be published or made disclosed without pre-consent,” Uwais said. Case closed! They thought they have perfected the sleaze! If the leadership of the NASS fail to institute a powerful probe into this glaring fraud in the SIP, then they are truly rubber stamp as alleged. I've seen videos of a handful of them receiving the fund on T.V, isn't that contrary to the same Act they're quoting? |
Yes. Man should have sober reflection and seek the face of his creator or whatever be believes in. ...and no we must also seek for vaccines for this and other plagues that may still come. |
Already a rep at 25. With luck, hardwork and perfect positioning, he has a chance to take a shot at the White House. |
This van happen anywhere in Nigeria. It's ignorance laced with greed. That's another man's business going down the drains. |
Thou shall not tempt the Lord, your God. |
May the rest receive healings. For whatever it takes, the government should ensure that we never slide into the situation in Italy or New York. ...for the sake of humanity. |
That's strange. But I can bet that science has an explanation for it. |
We don't know where he is. But we know that UK's prime minister just left the intensive Care unit. So much for transparency in government. |
There's a limit to everything. |
Look at the number of household from Zamfara, Kano, Katsina and Kebbi. Then compare with Lagos. If this list isn't a fake, then whoever is in charge should be made to explain how they come about this. This is highly provocative and unacceptable. There are poor people everywhere. |
It is not unexpected. What's the essence of risking the lives of his soldiers to capture terrorists only to be rehabilitated, set free and possibly compensated with foreign education. Who wouldn't wash off his hands in such circumstance? |
Even Rome wouldn't dare relax the lockdown this moment. The service by the Pope was practically empty yesterday. I'm not sure the Saudis will allow any congregation right now. But trust our politicians to mix religion with emotions and politics. |
Nigerians may not appreciate you now, Mr. Falana. God rest the soul of the fearless men like late Gani Fawehinmi. Like every other scourge, this too shall pass away. ...but Chief Falana, is it true that you wanted to be Minister of Justice under this regime? |
Anything to revitalize the economy after the shutdown is encouraged. But doing this without a comprehensive and verifiable data is questionable. Post Covid-19, the government should be sincere enough to embark on aggressive data collation of all Nigerians once and for all. |
Stealing or misappropriating funds meant for the development of their states should be equated to terrorism and armed robbery together. Their actions had denied people access to good medical care which has resulted into deaths. The poor roads which such funds could have fixed has caused and is still causing accidents resulting into the maiming and killing of their people. How are they different from terrorists and armed robbers? |
The story even looks disjointed. |
Not a bad request If the government could find some Boko Haram members worthy of being set free under the guise of rehabilitation and repentance, then these ex-military officers whose offence was the exposure of their ill-equiped state at the battle front against the same BH should also be considered for pardon. |
If this is true, people should be encouraged to begin to consume foods and drugs or supplement that will boost their immune system. |
