Lwkmd!

I hope this did not happen somewhere in Ibadan, cos I had a similar experience with a cousin of mine.

We did not know we were in her residential vicinity.

We thot she was taking us to a good place where we could have seats and chill...

She took us straight to her home... To her parents

and introduced my cousin as her fiance.

We answered several questions and I was so flustered I could not touch the drink offered to me.

We wanted to leave in a hurry... They seemed not in a haste to release us.

All the siblings were coming to check us out (chai!).

When we eventually left, we discharged d girl ASAP and ran all the way till we got a bike.

I will never forget that day in my life.

freechat: Haven't had any blind date yet. But my friend, Ken, told me his experience:

Ken and Joyce chat regularly on 2go. They become good friends and finally agree to meet. Ken gets to the meeting point and finds Chinwe, a female church member there. They both exchange pleasantries. She tells Ken she's waiting for her sister who she says is somewhere around. Ken finds a corner and sits, waiting for his date. Soon his phone rings and the voice is saying: "I've been here for more than 10 minutes, where are you?". Ken replies: "I am there ... with the blue fez cap". She looks around and the eyes meet. It dawns on them that they have been victims of their own pranks (they both had used fake pictures; Chinwe had adopted 'Joyce' as name). They bow their heads in shame. But it didn't end there. Somehow the 'real' friendship started ...till date!

Politics / Re: France Would Have Destroyed Nigeria Over Bakassi - Duke by Licensed2Kill(m): 8:10am On Oct 01, 2013
adconline:
I think you are getting it wrong. France has a military pact with Cameroun, so they could have defended Cameroun if Naija attacked first. Same way US would defend Taiwan cos they have a military/defense pact.
Symphony007: my dear, for the fact that france and cameroon have a defence pact, france has the right to fight with camerron against any aggresor. It's like nato, they all have a defence pact. If you attack one country, the rest can attack you. When the u.k attacked argentina over the falkland, the u.s sent aircraft carriers and intelligence to the u.k, france gave britain all the blueprints for the weapons they have sold to argentina. But at last, what france said was just a threat because there was no way nigeria would attack cameroon.

idk the details of the pact signed but do u think france would blindly attack any aggressor of cameroon. What if it was to be U.S. All i'm sayin is that they may back cameroon with some financial power or weapons and Nigeria too would definitely get her own sympathizer. The oil would defo attract some. And mind you, the france would neva blink unless the security council of the U.N says so.

Politics / Re: France Would Have Destroyed Nigeria Over Bakassi - Duke by Licensed2Kill(m): 7:15am On Oct 01, 2013
Symphony007: they could, if nigeria attacks first.
nope bruh. . .no country would do that in the international system. Any effort by other party has to be sanctioned by the U.N. the only thing that could be done is deployin some bunch of U.N. Soldiers to bakassi makin it a no go area for Nigerian troops. If france publicly back cameroon then Nigeria too is more likely to find some superpower too that would back her then a WW3 would be in the makin and the U.N would neva allow that

I see no sense in this post. Some dumbass jst dont understand how international politics works. The worst france could have done was to back cameroon up with weapons and tactical advice like they did in libya. They wouldnt dare raised a single finger against Nigeria and well, that's not because they can not.
