Is there any office using office 365 or AWS in Nigeria. This is a wonderful cloud service. A very good example of SaaS: Software as a service. |
quest003: dis aliko comment annoys me sha. Who told u he didnt go to school?It's not fair to mislead people here: Aliko Dagote went to school, in fact He school outside Nigeria. Aliko Dangote was born in the northern Nigerian state of Kano on April 10, 1957 into a wealthy Muslim family. His mother Mariya Sanusi Dantata was the granddaughter of legendary Hausa businessman Alhassan Dantata, and his father Mohammed Dangote was Dantata's business associate. Dangote had an early interest in business: "I can remember when I was in primary school, I would go and buy cartons of sweets [sugar boxes] and I would start selling them just to make money. I was so interested in business, even at that time." he said during an interview. He attended the Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt where he studied business,and later returned back to Nigeria to work with his uncle Sanusi Abdulkadir Dantata who eventually gave him a business loan of =N=500,000 (Naira)when he was just 21 years old. |
I will say go to school, Education is key, There are some people/resources you will have access to that you might not be able to access if you do not go to school. So far you have started with breeding Dogs, You can as well go and study Vet. Medicine or Animal Husbandry, This will open up your insight to know what goes on behind the scene. Also going to school should not affect or stop you from running your business alongside. Going to School will even increase your market base, You will be able to sell to lectures and other fellow students and still earn money and qualification and most importantly the knowledge that you need to run better business. |
Your new passport can be in your "new" surname. You must have a valid marriage certificate to show for it. Read through the website, make your payment online, you will get a date for the application submission and your picture will be taken the same day. Go back 5 days later and pick up your e-passport. |

GEJ has always been wasteful and a frivolous spender. Imagine using that amount of money from govt purse to finance a rubbish project. His wife is busy campaigning to use NGN 4BN to build an unconstitutional house. Where do we go from here, Where is the future for Nigeria when the leaders are like this? @cap28 Fashola did not invite KIm K, you cant just be behind keyboard and be putting allegation you don't have any proof online. |
Paul Put is a very good coach, He is better than Keshi, his work ethic is so strong but I could not see B/Faso causing any upset for a determined Nigeria Team. #teamsupereagles. |

So Nigeria's Trade Minister, Olusegun Aganga has signed an MOU with a certain Vulcan Petroleum to build 6 new modular refineries worth $4.5 billion... & I laugh in Swahili! Well, in the first place no western investor will commit to building a new refinery in Nigeria just now. The Chinese state companies can build refineries but they would have bargained for other things. It's just a total mess that Aganga is working just for the sake of getting activities on & not necessarily to achieve real change. I'm sure the way Aganga is discharging his duties to Nigeria is not the same way he managed his portfolio while at Goldman Sachs! Sadly, the same Vulcan Energy signing this refinery deal is a subsidiary of Vulcan Capital who have a history of contract breaches & controversies. The promoters of Vulcan Energy signed a contract with Sokoto state government in 2008 to build independent power plants in 6 months. Well after the exchange of millions of dollars & 4 years down the line, the IPP project is yet to see the light of the day! Another Vulcan Capital's subsidiary was awarded a power plant contract in Iraq in 2004 and this was also marred with accusations of bribery & lawsuits on breach of contract. Various cases of contract breaches have been filed & won against Vulcan in the US and oddly in some instances, some of the lawyers of Vulcan have withdrawn their legal services from Vulcan due to unpaid legal bills. Well, Mr Aganga in his wisdom deems it fit to sign a refinery deal with an investment company (not even a refinery operator) with a chequered history. The question is how many refineries do Vulcan operate in the world currently? Meanwhile it is obvious Nigeria does NOT need new refineries at the moment when it will be more cost effective & scalable to put our current refineries to work optimally. Recently a refinery expert in the UK, who has consulted for various government & private owned refineries, including NNPC told me that, "Nigeria does not need new refineries just now. No serious investor will build new refineries in Nigeria. What Nigeria needs to do is to ensure the existing refineries are made fully functional & effective. But that might never happen!" So the final question is why are top refinery operators in the world & major international oil companies not building refineries in Nigeria? Why is Aganga signing an MOU with "a certain" Vulcan Energy all in the bid to show that government is doing something? Well, do the maths! ...Tope |
“Nigeria has the highest number of sickle cell patients in the world, as one to two per cent of children are born with sickle cell disease. That means that there could be between 80,000 and 100,000 new sickle cell patients born every year in this country. “At any given time, there may be up to 1 million or 1.5 million sickle cell patients in Nigeria. Because of our large populations, that is the largest for any country in the world.” He advocated the need to recognise sickle cell as a problem and urged the creation of units, hospitals and apparatus to tackle it. Rasaq said out of 250,000 children that are born annually with sickle cell disease worldwide, 100,000 are Nigerians. He said the figure shows that Nigeria constitutes 40 per cent of the burden of sickle cell every year. He said that since it is a preventable disease, policy makers should enact a legislation making it compulsory for everybody to undergo genotype tests before marriage. “It is through genotype that one will know whether s/he is a sufferer or not; and whether a person is carrying the gene or not,” Rasaq said. He also advocated neonatal screening, to enable the authorities know those that have the sickle cell traits, “because when we pick the disease early, it is very easy to have a good outcome later in life.” Rasaq disclosed that he had been managing sickle cell for the past 15 years and thought that patients could come together to have a support club, which would be a mouthpiece for them and help the young ones to become aware of the disease. http://www.punchng.com/health/100000-sickle-cell-patients-born-in-nigeria-yearly-uith/ |
Those numbers get one sickening |
It is a matter of time, Companies in Nigeria will soon see the beauty of Virtualization, Cloud Computing Desktop as a service (DaaS) and Software as a service(SaaS) I have to aggree that there is no authority enforcing the use of Licenses which make a lot of Nigeria Company go away with the associated Cost of licenses and the cost of running multiple infrastructure when the same set of platform can be shared securely among several users. E.g Almost all the Telco got individual Mast, whereas a single mast could be shared by 3/4 operators which reduces the cost of maintenance. The same thing is applicable to Infrastructure. The Hardware are being designed in such a robust manner that they can do much more than it's require of them, So why can't it be optimised and shared across many users. Time will tell. |

@sexkill, pressinnnnnng IGNORE button |
This is specially for wives and intending wives; as it may save you having a stroke and high BP. 1. Most Men cannot have sex exclusively with just one woman, for the rest of their lives. 2. Men are created with varied sexual appetite ,some men can do without sex for a year, others cannot do without sex for a week. 3. A man who's madly in love with one woman can still have sex with other women but still love his 'woman'. 4. Some of the best husbands have concubines or mistresses, these extra marital affairs play a role in keeping the man sane and free of sexual tensions, especially during mid-life crises. 5.I f your man is just having sex with some sweet sexy teen or babe, DO NOT WORRY. But, if your man starts making midnight calls and exchanging text messages with another lady at odd hours, BE VERY WORRIED. 6. Before you choose your man, ensure he believes in AIDs, STDs and protected sex. That way, chances are that he will not bring HIV and other STDs into your life. 7. Most chronic wife beaters are faithful husbands, they hardly have extramarital affairs. 8. Most 'extra' loving husbands have concubines, these concubines keep the man abreast on new ways of making women happy. 9. Your man's mistress or concubine is most times not interested in you or your home. She has already seen your pictures and those of your kids via your hubby’s phone. She and your hubby just have a sexual understanding or partnership which helps both deal with peculiar individual issues. 10. As a woman, if you go all out in a bid to catch your husband red-handed cheating, you WILL succeed. Then what next? If u listen hard to your domestic servants in their private discussions, u will certainly hear them insult you, so why listen? 11. Judge your man by his responsibilities towards you and the kids, and NOT by who he's giving 'doggie style' to in the office. Enjoy the Day with Ʋ'r hubby or ur intended, copied from I. You are my dream come true , lagbaja Where ever I go --- lagbaja Rest of my life , George |

No way Cam men stop having feeling for other woman apart from his wife? it takes God's grace and discipline. BTW you women are very and sometime too beautiful to just press IGNORE button on. |
the distance between you? Where is she and where are you located. Is she faithful to you? if you guys are staying in the same area, you would have monitor her closely to see if she has changed or not. |
@Op, sympathy for pain and disappointment you are going through. Such things happen in life. You got 1 out of this 2 options fight for him or fight with him. But my advise will be the first one. @Meddler why stereotyping. tell me which nation, race or tribe in this world that does not cheat, Tiger woods, Clinton, Ashley Cole just to mention a few. Men are different from women, the composition is different. While I am not trying to defend cheating (it hurts), I am not for stereotyping as well |
, anybody!! |
Can they change, unless God change them
