moriNla:don’t you know that if op uses this his ‘trash car’ to jam you and that your Bugatti the two of you will still come down and use leg to go back to your houses? |
right tools? . . . check OEM spares? . . . check capable and knowledgeable workmanship? . . . check engine with no history of extreme neglect or abuse? . . . check Then let’s rebuild ![]() It feels good knowing that those your new pistons and rings are all coming out the workshop with zero mileage although in an old engine block. That’s a feeling of actually ‘knowing’ something is at least gonna work for a few decades without hassles until it gives It’s like asking me what’s cost effective? Buying a new car or a used one? Of course buying a used car will forever be more cost effective than a new one no matter the various seen and unforeseen ‘issues’ the used one may have Well except if it’s an issue of rust . . . Don’t buy a car that’s carrying extreme rust. That’s something your car can’t come back from people |
RealNaijaQuin:If you knew how the country was a few short years before you were born into it you’d never make this statement It’s like someone deciding to live in a prison all his life only because he was born in one |
thebigkendo:If his gear thuds then there’s a code. The D doesn’t have to blink continually as it’s already stored in the ecu. I’m certain Paper clip throws all stored codes, it’s how to interpret it that becomes the issue That’s if you were successful enough to not toast your ecu first ![]() Disclaimer: anyone attempting the topic of this particular post should for goodness sake please take note of the bolded |
Op when it tries to enter gear two and it makes that ‘thud’ do your tyres ‘screech/chop’ too? If It does then it may not be skipping gears yet Take it on a short drive, while on first gear rev up to 2k and ease off the throttle, if your gear up shifts without the ‘thud’ then it’s in gear 2 It’s a very bad sign when these transmissions ‘skip’ gears you got to make sure Try to pull transmission specific codes with a good scan tool and not those small blue ones Or be like me and use the paper clip method ![]() |
Op you’re on the verge of leaving a 4 door car for a 2 door one that’s the only important fact i will first make peace with if I were in your shoes, solars is a good upgrade |
gazzuzz don enter Shakespeare mode The moment I read about ‘towing a burnt golf4’ I spat out laughing hard and loud ![]() thank goodness I didn’t read up to that part earlier when I was fingering my phone in church |
Is your fuel pump good? When last did you reach that side? |
Op you have so many options could you narrow it down to just 2 or 3 so it becomes easier to reach a decision? |
You’re clever blurring those images of the below par leather condition of the ride. Happy sales |
many big names with businesses on nairaland have risen and fallen or disappeared out of existence as a whole since I’ve been here watching on the sidelines. Everything that has a beginning must have an end and anything with a start must run till it’s finished. It’s how your own ‘end/finish’ comes about that matters the most. People should focus on what’s important in life and toss the BS aside in all matters especially as they stick fingers into forums like this in search of clients or business. People call this a Faceless forum, well 10 years ago I’d agree but that’s not what it seems to be these days. If two people are arguing and they are both wrong, people please point it out ... stop saying ‘I know him snd he can’t do that’ ... these words can set someone up for a ruin because that person will not consider being wrong while in reality he might have been. Concerning this post ... The players know themselves. I love drama but I never want to star in any ![]() |
sawdi:Okay thanks. I’d try it. I hope they don’t roll out updates every other month |
sawdi:So you prefer pubg to fortnight? How many gigs is pubg in your phone? |
Obierika:Yes oh! That’s our 9ja for us ![]() |
hmm 6000 pages |
sawdi:I played fortnight for a few weeks until they forced me to update. Imagine updating a game of 3gig every month. That’s roughly paying N2k per month on data to play it No, only small games can make me do that. Even bulletforce made me stop playing after updating it 3 times by force. At least coc and cr is at most 300mb to update per month |
As old as I am see what I play ![]()

Who is even taking apga seriously in imo State again? The same apga that used ‘mago-mago’ to put okorocha in that government house along with his apc jalabia? another party should come out with a credible candidate or Pdp will have its Day eventually. But even pdp have their shortcomings... I still remember how ohakim packed into that government house when his name wasn’t on ballot paper Imo is in political turmoil right now to me |
Yes oh, Ekiti has been taken over Let them dance to the ‘muric’ tune, after all they both have the same paymaster Fayemi better complete his mission by heeding these people asap |
EMEKA1MILLION:What should be out today? |
no Final Fantasy 7 remake? ![]() no new midnight club from rockstar yet? |
luvinhubby:Na wa, but everything is working fine with the bearings up front. No noise whatsoever So should keep driving with the light on and wait till the next time I’m changing bearings to know if that is the culprit? |
and right after the bearings were changed nobody worked on the rear tires before this handbrake light issue poped up immediately. That’s why I’m confused. adanny01, luvinhubby |
adanny01:Thanks But When you say the adjustment might be ‘too much’ could it mean that both/one of the rear wheels could be the culprit |
luvinhubby:I had the bearings for the front tyre hubs changed 3 months ago. After the change my handbrake lights have always stayed on. Once I switch the car off and on the lights go away but after I drive for like 3 minutes it comes on again. I don’t have functional ABS but The brakes still work fine and the handbrake is functional on both rear wheels as I jacked them up individually to check. The car is driving as it was before the bearings were changed but that light just keeps staying on permanently I don’t know what the issue is. I scanned but nothing. I have no CEL |
Please can someone help me out with a copy of the service manual for a 2004 i4 accord? |
so somebody can’t build something and drop a step by step manual on how a novice could fix it again some people ain’t learning impaired. I believe with the right tools, the correct manual, the technical ‘know-how’ surrounding electronics and mechanics and then some actual time and effort anyone can work on any machine there’s no argument in this |
still available |
Pipedreams:I’m telling you like comparing apples to yams @op, you need to trek some more, at least a few more months of bus jumping will make the solution clearer to you modified: Oh! Op has motor already now I’m deeply confused ![]() |
