whatever makes a w124 leg pull like that ....just be rest assured the driver must be an ultra careless person
when Oga gazzuzz swore prophesied for us NL road users to see more instances of ‘leg pull’ ... many people thought he didn’t consult the oracle first grin

Seems your favorite Benz is really ‘almost’ perfect

Good Morning House. Please I noticed my Honda Civic 2002's radiator is leaking. It doesn't retain water at all. What could be the problem?

If I have to change it, how much do you think it would cost?
When you say you notice it leaking, did you spot the exact spot it leaks out from or do you park for a while and then see water that leaked out on the floor in front of your car?

If you see the spot then take it to have the radiator mended. If the damage is severe you should change the radiator.

But if you didn’t/don’t see where the water in your radiator leaks out from then it’s a very big problem.

EducationRe: What Does Someone Who Doesn't Know How To Swim Do To Keep Floating In Water? by lilkech(m):
When it comes down to it swimming is hard, be very careful near water if you can’t swim.

If you walk into the water and pass your dept you could drown by struggling on its surface before sinking but if you suddenly dropped dead into the water from a height or violently you might drown before resurfacing because you’ve already sunk too deep, get knocked out or might run out of oxygen to keep brain and reflex functions while in the water to even struggle.

What’s easy is floating. Anybody can float no matter your size. It’s just knowing how to do it that’s the key. See my own style of floating.

Sit down on the floor with both your legs stretched out in front of you and all toes pointing upwards, done? Now stretch out both your hands in front of you with palms facing downwards, done? Now tilt your head all the way back until you’re staring at the ceiling, done? Now hold it for a minute, That right there is the posture you’d put your. Did your body ache? Yes because swimming is a sport, an exercise that involves all joints and muscles in your body being active.

Now for movements you’d make to stay afloat.

Imagine you’re in a palace and servant to a king. A no nonsense king. It’s a very hot day and you are on (toshiba duty) to keep him cool.

Now there’s a flat broad leather fan you’d be holding to fan your king. You see the way those servants hold it to ‘fan’ the king sitting on his throne? Yes that’s the movement your hands will be making with your palms facing downward, fingers opened up flat and wide (like a frogs feet) and flapping in unison. Remember that both hands must flap in a parallel motion in the water and must be flapping at full speed. You’d better flap with your vigor as a first time floater just as the servant will flap to cool his hot angry king on a good day so as not to ‘lose his head’.

Now for your legs feet. While in that sitting position draw both legs up towards your chest with your feet still touching the floor as you do it (drag both feet on the floor and your knees to your chest). Now stretch your legs out flat out again so they are both resting on the floor with your toes pointing upwards. You see that motion, you will be doing it again but rapidly. In fact you’d be doing so fast you’d be looking like a kangaroo doing 100m race if you know you want to be on top the water.

Your head will be bent backwards but instead of the seeing your ceiling you’d be looking up on the water ahead of you taking breaths on the surface while your limbs do all the fanning and kicking.

If you can attain that posture on the water Your legs and feet, hands and palms will be forming a current under your floating torso which will keep your chest and head on the surface of the water. You’d also be able to move front and back and also turn left and right by tiny adjustments to the way your limbs fan and kick under you.

With this method you be floating and swimming in no time. Just know that everyone has their way but this is mine and someone thought me to use it at the time.

If I swim in front of you I’d look like a dog swimming in water. It’s funny but It stuck. It works and It saves lives so you need to Learn it too. Take 500 naira to a pool with friends and try it out. After learning to float You’d be swimming in no time.

confirm rear struts were not leaking at time of this accident. Also was the ABS warning light on or off?
Abs light was on, I don’t know if the struts are leaking, to be sincere I haven’t changed those struts since then. I didn’t even step on the brake pedal during that accident. There was absolutely no reaction time. I saw the pothole too late

actually 05 upwards honda gear was solid and we'll built, but 04 downwards honda gear were shitty.

The funny thing is that the gear would work perfectly for him until he sells it another individual and that person change from his palm oil to DW1 then the gear go kaput grin that's a perfectly definition of lemon.
Chai! shocked so this gearbox is that badhuh Can the 2010 accords gearbox work with the 2004 accords engine?

Car is manual drive? Pls scan let's fix the problem, seems like an easy fix.
My Oga it’s an automatic o, for 3 years now it won’t enter 5th gear even when I’m on 120kph and revving at 3.5k RPM. I haven’t changed anything but an oil flush yet still same thing.

I’d scan tomorrow and revert. Thanks

Thank God for the deliverance!
At speed it's just best to take the pot hole/bump than attempt to avoid especially if it appears late.

I like the part of not exceeding speed or trusting the road ahead of you. The only exception (with caution) I would say is for roads you are very familiar with. When I lived in Owerri and worked in Delta, I knew the Owerri - Onitsha express way like the back of my palm; I knew where every pot hole was, the good stretches and all.
Nevertheless caution is the thing. And strict obedience to road signs where available.
I guess the sign in my case would have made more sense if it read "BUMP AHEAD (200m)" or something more specific than the reduce speed on a straight road that you could see almost 3km or so
No be small tin. Now I drive without gear 5 (I’ve even forgotten what speed that final gear is supposed to kick in). Gazzuzz has said I should come and take big switch, I’m far away now so I don’t know what to do.

It’s like I will use one stone to kill two birds ... gazzuzz dashed us far away peeps freebies and conveniently let us know his oil in now available grin

He won’t waybill freebies so . . .

2003 Accord 4cyl. Sorry for omitting that detail.
You’re lucky you didn’t make my kind of mistake by attempting to dodge the pothole.

I was once on a high speed ‘one way’ road going at 120kmph, ascended a hill, on the crest spotted the pothole in my lane, looked ahead and no oncoming traffic from the other lane, tried to dodge pothole by tilting steering just a tiny fraction and . . . BOOM! Car spun out 3 times flew into the bush.

Passenger was asleep during whole saga and only awoke when we’ve landed in the bush. I came out, kneeled beside the car and gave thanks to God for our lives while my passenger was still in the car looking around bewildered as to how he was seeing tarred smooth road a few winks ago but now surrounded by thick bush.

I called tow truck and they came, I told them I want to continue my journey but they laughed and said my car isn’t going anywhere lol. I entered and checked it out and the only damage I sustained were destroyed front and back bumper, a broken fan case and radiator (battery jumped out of it’s sitting and damaged them in the commotion), then the car stopped entering 5th gear from that day. They pulled the car out of the bush and I got the radiator sealed and continued my journey. The car was looking very unique for the rest of the journey that all police had to stop and me just to say sorry on behalf of federal government for their stupid road.

All of you carrying Toyota Matrix and Corolla forming Louis Hamilton ehn, better shine your eyes oh. This happened to me using 4 plugs EOD at 120kmph.

Since that year i NEVER exceed that speed on any road NO MATTER THE CONDITION OF THE ROAD. If you trust your car good, but be very wary trusting the road ahead of you on high speed.

Hello.. Please I need counsel on the purchase of a used jaguar s-type from a friend's car stand. I have actually used the car for over a month. No issues apart from the gear selector cable which I knew was bad before taking it. I changed the selector cable and car performs normal.. I did enjoy the ride on my 7hours journey to my home town with AC on.. No sign of overheating.. with all the portholes I entered, the car served me to & fro without stoppage.. Please house buying this car @800k, is it a good buy? Also, are the parts available? Is the maintenance cost extra-high?? Can a resident of Abuja easily get a mechanic to fix this car? Also, should parts like Engine/gear box gets bad, can one get a replacement in Nigeria?? Please kindly advise so your Brother won't be lost... Thanks
If you like the Jaguar get it. It’s a very capable car. The engine has very high tolerance for abuse and extra powerful.

If it’s an AWD version just remember to never use it in bad road. The rear axle does not tolerate bumps and scrapes at all. If you’re driving in Abuja and environs where the roads are fair you will enjoy the ride. Maintenance wise it’s average and fuel consumption is usual for a 3 liter engine
