Lol, Nigeria. I was using an FCMB card to make payment online the other day and I got "sorry, we don't accept cards from that country". I just shook my head. |
MelesZenawi:I can't believe someone is still blaming Jonathan |
This is Hppening in Kastina, nobody seems to notice. |
ately1:Is it love for politics or love for cruelty? Black people seems to be under a curse. I am yet to figure out what exactly is the cause of this. Is it just the skin colour? Or is it how their brain is wired? I don't just get it. Most black nations in the world are backward and below their counterparts elsewhere. I just tire. |
jackcanfield:The reason he is claiming $16m is that he said he should have made $4m for each shipment. He also said his agent spent lots of money getting inspection agents to wait at the port of discharge. You know, this crude business is like a spirit, like forex trading, lol. Like you said, he should have backed after the first fraud. I totally agree with you. The moment Bida told him not to contact the ship was the red flag, that was against what was written on the agreement. But you see, the fraudster was very smart. He knew that once there is a trust, then the hope remains alive. Latella and his agents saw the product as declared, only that they were diverted. That gave him some confidence that at least Bida could actually lift crude. The fraud they were used to was receiving cash and not being able to deliver anything at all. But Bida did not receive cash, and he actually lifted crude. So it was easy for Latella to believe every other lie the guy told. But if I were Latella, I would just walk away, or look for other less criminally minded dealers to deal with. His approach was a perfect one, the use of Credit instrument. You only release cash after you have confirmed Q&Q. In my summary, Latella was not outrightly defrauded of money, his money was only used as loan without interest. ALso, he was meant to spend money processing the whoile transactions. I advise Bida settles out of court with him. Offer him 500k to $2m. For Latella, if dem no gree, walk away and leave them to God. Bida will bribe efcc, and after efcc understands this transaction, they will drag their feet. Even the judges. They will be like "we dey pursue people wey dem steal their money, no be this one wey dem outsmart you for una business". Doing business in Nigeria is not for the faint hearted. |
Sometimes it is not what it is portrayed. This may be people in a camp of someone who felt entitled and more qualified for the position. If you investigate gate this, it may by people who swore to make the seat "ungovernable" for him. Now they can shout behind him. |
Not if you can study the process and pay attention to details. |
You did not specify location. I guess you're location of interest is Nigeria. |
Old story but now twisted. The husband works for a bank. It was the woman that poisoned the young man so her secret will remain. It was her friend that suggested getting pregnant for the boy, same woman suggested killing the boy. The husband impregnated another girl when he was young, then thereafter, got infected with an std and did not treat it properly, so it rendered him impotent. He was awarded he was impotent. He was sleeping with his wife quite alright. He was the one who confronted her to tell him the father of the baby after the death of his son because he knew he was not the father of the new baby. He was shocked when the wife eventually opened up because he had to convince her that he was impotent. As at that time, he was contemplating suicide. Meaning he eventually did. This is what keeping secrets can cause. |
Is it only Air Peace? This seems sponsored. If you don't like Air Peace, try another, no be by force. |
Hey People, When you enter Stockholm for the first time and wish to ride the train, one way ticket is 38Kr (expires after about 1hr 15 mins). When you get to the station, the man at the booth/office at the point (where travelers scan their train cards and phones to automatically access the small gates) will sell the ticket and open the door for you. If you have an activated Swedish bank debit card, it will give you access on flashing it on the scanner (the 38Kr will be withdrawn from the account immediately). Don't be shy to ask questions as many times as possible, Swedes in Stockholm are friendly. Then, if you have been in Stockholm for few days (at least one day), and you don't wish to be asking plenty questions, or keep running around T-centralen (something like about 6 storey buildings into the ground) like me few days/weeks after I came, then heed to this. When you get to the central station (ensure you know the class of train you're taking to your destination), keep look at the head of every gateway (leading to stairs/escalators) and you'll see the name of the class of train written. Just follow the arrow by the name of the train (with destinations also listed in most cases) each time you exit a stair/escalator. When you get to where to wait, you'll know. Such names as Tunelbanna (metro) or pendantag (underground train) are classes of train. There is also a color code attached to each line your contact should inform you). The one that takes you to Stockholm university (Universitet) is Tunnelbanna, Redline, Morby Centrum (the destination). Just jump in and be careful to hear when Universitet (called univasitiyete) is called, in fact, it is the 4th station from T-centralen. You must come here o! I don see am finish. |

mbachidi:Frustrating Bro |
Yesterday was the first day I did not look confused at T-Centralen, I just waka like boss. No questions asked. |
mbachidi:Hmn, inspiring. I've been to Swedbank in the middle of Stockholm city, they were the first that said I need at least coordination number and directed me to skatervaket, made it look so easy, like I'll get the number immediately I walk in there. Perhaps I'll try another branch. SEB too, will target a less busy branch. Na me and them. |
ebim:Ok. Thank you. I'll check it out |
ebim:Mehn, finally located one but it seems they close early. Make I go house, another day. |
Mobil567:Nordea say na lie, either personnumber or coordination number. I'll try another SEB, if to say I know I for go there first sed, just that they close by 1pm and this one 3pm. Another day. |
Been trying out banks to open account without personnumber. SEB gave me appointment for February 2022. Lol. No be me and them. Heading to Nodea. |
Politicians won't want to go anywhere else but naija, because that is where they fish and feed from. Migration is part of human nature, and if one place doesn't favour you, try elsewhere. Naija is not ok for most people, thus they'll want to try elsewhere, Sweden inclusive. If they get to Sweden and find anything not ok, and hear somewhere else is better for them, they move. One will keep moving until you find a relatively good place to be, not just for you, but your family as well. Mark the work 'relative'. No place on earth is perfect. Sweden is sweet once you find your feet. But as a naija guy, you must find your feet. |
Oby2828:None of the Above. |
OmalichaUC:NOTA |
Murtadorr:Focus on the application fee and work towards getting a scholarship. If it doesn't work, then abandon. |
Murtadorr:How much do you think you need? |
BunmiBie:Thank you. |
When I settle in, I'll share some experiences to guide first time travellers like me. |
ebim:Thanks. Cash withdrawal. |
BunmiBie:I arrived Stockholm today. No,my family will come later. |
