thanks for your quick response. like i said, finance is a challenge, hence my decision to consider other european countries. i dont mind learning a new language, and my kids can easily learn cos of their age.

any information on my other enquires would be much appreciated
Hello,
Sweden doesn't seem to be 'cheap', for me.
You just need to consider a lot of things before moving. Personally, I have a dislike for UK. But again, I hear it's easier to adapt there.
PoliticsRe: Anambra Airport: A Seaport Is What We Need In Anambra, Not Airport. by Lionize: 3:16pm On May 16, 2021
I am sure many don't know what cargo flight is. What water body will you use for the seaport, river Niger?

With a cargo airport in Anambra, lagos port can be made led busy. Goods will arrive faster, though at an extra cost. But risk of loss will be reduced too.

Anambra needs the airport biko. Nke anyi by nke anyi

Congratulations to those who got the scholarship.

Those who didn't get the scholarship should weigh their options very well before moving to the country. If you hustle to pay the first semester school fees, how do you intend to pay for the subsequent semesters?

Sweden is not like UK where you can easily get some unskilled jobs to support yourself. Language barrier is a major factor.

Wishing everyone success in their pursuits.
You can actually do part-time jobs as a student, Sweden speaks English as a second language, in fact, English language is more common in Sweden than many other countries with English as a second language.

I don't know the school you applied to but according to Chalmers university you can start once you have paid your tution fess cause embassy or immigration might contact school to be sure you are a student
OK. The school is Stockholm university. I think we are to start applying for migration after scholarship result is out.
TravelRe: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by Lionize: 2:42am On Apr 18, 2021
Wait o, should one start applying for permit already, or wait for scholarship results? I thought of the latter and have been folding my arms here.

This is misleading, bro. Even with the school giving you accommodation, it will still be above that (82,950.00). The details can be found on the site.

Actually, we were not talking about school fees. We were talking about the amount of cash you are expected to have in your account when applying for residence permit and it has nothing to do with the school or course of study other than the facts that it could reduce a bit if your school offers you accommodation.
Ok

I know these people don't know driverless cars have started operating in some areas abroad. If they charge low, please work independently. Do your kabukabu and leave their platform.

TravelRe: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by Lionize:

Yes I did.
I want to also support that with TetFund, but my worry is that before applying for resident permit card, one ought to have paid first semester's tuition installment and due to how sluggish TetFund can be in dispensing the funds, that might eat deep into the timing ... I don't know if the sponsorship letter issued by TetFund can be used in place of the first semester's payment evidence...
Have you applied for the fund already? How does one do that?

Please, this information is misleading.

It is not about what you think or assume. It is clearly stated on their website.
The fees depend on the school and course. I got admission in Stockholm university for a Master's Programme in Hydrology, Hydrogeology and Water Resources and the school fees is 280,000 sek.

I missed the si scheme.

I don't really get that number 5

(5. Be confident during the interview and do not sound desperate. America is not heaven. I see some guys who, when asked by that young girl there, who was asking her questions on loudspeaker and rejecting people’s request for visa on loudspeaker, if they have ever travelled outside the country before, nod on the affirmative and start mentioning Kenya, Ghana, bla bla bla. The next thing you would hear from her is “I am sorry you are not qualified for a US visa at this time, details ….” Phew! ogba!)

Is it wrong to mention that you have traveled to Kenya and Ghana?
It may not be wrong but it may not add to anything.

I am sure you'll cry fowl if your business partner implements only 80% of an agreement with you, especially when the other 20% was meant to favour you. That old professor in your imagination is not really intellectually sound. I thought you had something else to say other than 80% of the accord 'about being' implemented in decree 8. Please spare me that. On Aburi we stand!
