This envy lead hatred of Nigerians in Africa and whose late discovery by me after years of battling for black people world wide is why I've turned my back on Africa. I'm a Nigerian now, my work for black people is now limited to Nigerians, this is enough for me. It is enough work for one lifetime. Africa can go Bleep itself. |
FireUpNow:There's a time to point out racism and a time not. This doesn't seem a time to point to racism not least since a plethora of black athletes compete and win in these competitions without the stigma placed on Tobi. There may be biases against Nigeria athletes and a need to create an aura of doubt against them by establishing in them a reputation for dug cheating but this may be for ulterior motives such as financial ones. I'll point you in the direction from which you may draw to consider the financial aspect: 1) Nigeria has a noticeable potential to produce extraordinary world beating talents like Tobi, Salwa Eid Naser , Ajunwa, Ese Brume etc. 2) Professional Athletics pays stars possibly millions and the West foots the bill. 3) The West likes returns on investments in the form of taxes and consuming of good in the West among other things. 4) The West likes to control all aspect of an enterprise, every thing measured and quantified. For instance, the diamond league has a set amount of money for invited Athletes, most of whom earn invitation based on winning performances or meeting certain qualifying times. The parameters of the competition too is quantified including the circus like show business side of it. For instance, Jamaica V USA sprint events is an attraction, a wining formula in the Athletics circus spectacular sold to the public and which draws viewership. Athletics, in its role as showbiz, values the rivalry and would prefer not to risk its alteration. 5) The Kenyans and Ethiopians fulfil a certain role in the athletics "circus bonanza". 6) Think how several yeas ago athletics bodies in Europe attempted to bar Kenyan and Ethiopian runners from marathon and long distant events in the West on the grounds that these East Africa athletes were stifling the growth of domestic European long distant runners by winning everything thereby disillusioning prospective young European talent. However investigation discovered that the true reason was that meet organisers wanted European athletes to be the ones earning the top money paid to winners. They wanted European money in European hands. See, Athletics now is a cosy showbiz family, under a limited but growing standardization and control. African Americans, Caribbean's are part of the Western family in terms of the money aspect. If Nigerians arrive in the numbers backed by talent that they are capable off.....well, go figure. |
yewit37486:Unfortunately they have. Those fearful of Nigeria fulfilling her potential on the world stage and eclipsing many other nations, will use the suspension to cast aspersions at her. They've been provided weapon to tarnish any of her exceptional future achievements. Tobi should sue if possible. |
Fulani Herdsmen Kill 15 Persons, Kidnap 32 Others In Southern KadunaIf there's Kama, then I feel sorry for Fulani people's future . I mean, the numbers of people reputedly killed by so called Fulani groups at any one time in Nigeria over the years is always remarkably heavy when one sits back and shakes head to clear mind of complacency that we all have fallen into due years of Fulani butchery news. Fifteen people killed, just mull that over and over in you head. Fifteen people... and this is small change by normal news of alleged Fulani Killings. To put this into perspective, imagine how shocked and outraged you would be if you read that some hoodlums invaded someone's farm, slaughtered 15 goats for fun and ran off into the night laughing. ![]() …even fifteen chopped up and hacked chickens would leave quite a bloody mess. It would startle you if you happened upon such a site on a filed. |
AID you don't get from UAE Loans you don't get from UAE Expertise you don't get from UAE Advise you don't get from UAE Support in the UN or other international organizations you don't get from UAE Chlamydia from people used to F-ing Camels and Donkeys is the only things Nigeria get from UAE due to prostitution. We may also get Terrorism funding too. UAE also benefits from Nigeria as a focal point to conveniently lay all blame for crimes committed by Africans thus saving them time and money required to conduct proper investigations . Nigeria looses millions to UAE in the form of Nigerians patronising thire hotels, jewellery stores and plastic attractions. Even UAE's gold and diamonds largely comes from Africa. Few peoples in the world have done more than Nigerians to publicize Dubai. What does UAE benefit Nigeria? Why did a whole President of Nigeria see fit to beg UAE? |
You couldn't drag me to UAE! |
What's the obsession with UAE? What the Bleep do Nigerians benefit from frigging UAE![]() Jesus, have some shame, grovelling and pleading with useless UAE! |
In terms of the Nigeria State's role in alleviating poverty, one of the most important and far researching things it could do and, luckily the most basic, is map out and control the exploitation of the nation's mineral resources. Entirely all states. Even without refining ( but owning the processing stages too would be transformational ) simply doing the least such as exporting our mineral resources but doing so transparently, effectively, sparing and neglecting nothing - from Coal to Lithium; diamonds to gold. Invest revenue on infrastructure. Of course, govt will need to eradicate the Terrorist cartel that are slaughtering our farmers and exploiting our mineral resources up North and bunkering them down south. |
The Nigeria Opposition Politics industry is partly to blame for the lazynisation of Nigeria youths - if they are indeed lazy. Over many years, they turned the mentality of Nigerians from Entrepreneurial minded to Job seekers minded. Employment and Unemployment are major political weapons in the arsenal of groups in any form of political Opposition. When people are more interested in starting businesses, like majority of Nigerians used to be, they are not easily exploited in terms of thire capacity or situation in life. In short, they frown on laziness, want to be self-employed, are not amenable to notions of handouts, usually blame selves not others for personal failure and poverty. This mindset makes them difficult to manipulate against the major systems that Opposition Politics intends to target. |
Jakumo:According to the Angry Astronaut, the Mexican stuff are fakes. These first showed up in 2017, were investigated and eventually debunked. Nevertheless, it seems as if something significant concerning UFOs is happening behind the scenes. As someone who has been interested in this area since childhood , I have to say that I've never witnessed officialdom so deferential of the subject , receptive and willing to listen to public reports and accounts. |
So much for Africa revolution. . Shouldn't some of these African nations that are used to casting aspersions at Nigeria, calling Nigeria Western puppet (yes this is common on social media) shouldn't they demonstrate thire unpuppetness by ridding themselves of foreign military bases ? |
US military resumes drone, crewed aircraft operations in post-coup Niger. Aljazeera US reaches agreement with Niger’s military leaders to restart drone, crewed aircraft missions at two airbases. A C-130 US Air Force plane lands as Nigerien soldiers stand in formation during military exercise with US Special Forces in Diffa region in 2014 [File: Joe Penney/Reuters] Published On 14 Sep 202314 Sep 2023 The United States military has resumed operations in Niger, flying drones and other aircraft out of airbases in the country more than a month after a coup halted activities, the head of Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa said. Since the July coup that removed President Mohamed Bazoum, the approximately 1,100 US soldiers deployed in the West African country have been confined to their military bases. General James Hecker said on Wednesday that negotiations with the military rulers of Niger resulted in some intelligence and surveillance missions resuming. “For a while, we weren’t doing any missions on the bases, they pretty much closed down the airfields,” Hecker told reporters at the annual Air and Space Forces Association convention. “Through the diplomatic process, we are now doing, I wouldn’t say 100 percent of the missions that we were doing before, but we’re doing a large amount of missions that we’re doing before,” he said. Hecker said the US is flying both crewed and unmanned missions and that those flights resumed “within the last couple of weeks”. The Pentagon said last week that some US forces were moved from Air Base 101 near the capital Niamey, to another base, Airport 201, in Agadez. Agadez is located about 920km (some 570 miles) northeast of Niamey. The US military has made Niger a primary regional outpost for its patrols with armed drones and other operations against fighters and rebel movements that have seized territory in the region, killed civilians and fought the armed forces. West Africa recorded more than 1,800 rebel attacks in the first six months of this year, which killed nearly 4,600 people, according to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). France, which remains an ally of ex-President Bazoum, has approximately 1,500 soldiers in Niger. Declaring its continued support for the removed president, officials in Paris have called the coup and its officials illegitimate. Niger’s military leaders have also called for the French military to leave the country. Speculation has swirled that France will be forced into a full military withdrawal, with a French defence ministry source saying last week that the French army was holding talks with Niger’s military over pulling out “elements” of its presence in the country. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/9/14/us-military-resumes-drone-crewed-aircraft-operations-in-post-coup-niger |
President of Liberia isn't on that list. He should. Okotcha also... |
clearcrystal:Lol , too late, he has (it is implied in Channels interview ). Incidentally, he says recruitment for Red Line staff will begin shortly. All stations will be opened in the following months. |
He says all signs are completed and are in Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, English and other languages. He says Red Line is even bigger than this Blue Line and will start service almost certainly by the end of this year. He says the Red Line goes over many bridges and that the bridges will be opened for pedestrians and motorists by the end of this month.

In architecture, the little strips, frames, skirting, tiling etc that completes a building project is sometimes collectively termed as Detailing. Poor to none existent Detailing is a major cause of the shabby, dirty third-world appearance that lets down our Nigeria cities and towns. Abuja is a prime example. The dirty third worldness that afflict other Nigeria cities and towns could be forgiven by drawing attention to the fact that most were unplanned and that Nigeria was distracted by given priority to economic developments, holding things together and so had inadvertently allowed cities to sprawl and become unwieldy. But Abuja is or was planned. In short, the new Abuja admin needs to also prioritise the Detailing aspect of the Abuja project. I mean the crumbling pavements, leaning street lights, bald grasslands, sandy mounds increasingly appearing by the major road junctions, the fading zebra crossings and road signs, fallen walls etc Wike also needs to legislate against incomplete buildings...maybe enact how long unfinished buildings are allowed to stand in city centres or designated areas befor authorities will demolish them. |
FaceTanke:Better than wearing suits. |
eepeepook:It's only true if na Nigeria. RIP all dead souls. |
That's very broad Nigerians are starving, what does this mean? Old Nigerians, young ones, all Nigerians, some Nigerians, Kano state Nigerians -data is important. I'm assuming Kano indigenes are starving since they are the once in closest proximity to the esteemed Emir if he is empirically informed. If so, what would be Abba Yusuf's duty? |
With open borders, failing West Africa states in addition to the natural progression of Nigeria as a nation, the trillions quoted is optimistic. If you could suspend births and deaths in Nigeria for one year the population would still increase due to open borders. |
omoadeleye:Thank you. This is why I'm continually drawing attention to Opposition Politics as a huge contributory factor why the Nigeria masses are increasingly impoverished. Let me put this as basic as possible: It is in Peter Obi, Atiku and Kanu's interest to talk of Nigeria in broad National terms since thire interest concerns power at the National level. So they, thire backers, power base and organisational teams concerned with gaining them power at the central level talk about failure or success in terms of "Nigeria"! For example thire organisations may put it about that Nigeria is a shit hole, Nigeria is a failed state, Ethiopia is better than Nigeria, Ghana has full electricity, Nigeria is porverty Capital of the world, Nigeria is a Zoo, Housa Fulani want to spread Islam, Restructure Nigeria , Nigerians are fools for being the happiest people in the world, Yoruba are cowards, Igbos are thieves, Nigeria is not providing jobs, Nigeria employment rates, Nigeria hospitals are the worst in the World, Jappa Nigeria etc. However you as an average Nigerian, you should be concerned about underdevelopment in your State and Local councils. During elections you can look at the national picture and be informed by local and National issues. Same during international events etc. Unfortunately Opposition Politics has got the Nigeria masses invested in National outlook exclusively but from the context of Opposition Politics, which by virtue of opposition, power is achieved by rubbishing not praising. The Nigeria masses believe entirely and wholly without discernment, superimposing thire personal difficulties. It's one of the reasons Nigeria masses hate Nigeria so much. The masses are politically immature, misunderstand politics and are informed and persuaded by what is termed Black political propaganda, by our irresponsible Opposition Politics culture. Opposition Politics want you to hate the government not the country. They say the country is shit because they want the people to hate the ruling government and vote them out. But Nigeria opposition politics does such a rubbish job they got the people hating the country. For the masses to affect and experience change, they need to hold thire State Governors and local councilors responsible. Stop shouting Nigeria, you're not Peter Obi, Kanu, Warlords or thire interest group that stand to benefit at a National level for National and local applications. I talk about Nigeria holistically because I'm a Nationalist. I don't live in Nigeria. I understand that what I've stated is simplistic but it is broadly accurate. |
Does anyone have opinions on possible major conflict flash point in West Africa due to the confluence of radical islamic fundamentalism/terrorism, Vagana group, the Mali, Burkina Fasso, Niger coalition, long term, and Sierra Leone/ Sierra diamonds? |
