Hmmmm |
dewaskillz:How so? What made you come to that conclusion? |
Where did their judgement take Nigeria to? Nowhere. They are no different from their male counterparts. We like to deceive ourselves too much. No law in Nigeria prohibits females from going for whatever position or office they aspire to hold or pursue through education. The girls that cry about females not being in positions are the lazy ones that want to eat their cake and have it. They want to be at the helm of affairs or at the top of top institutions without working for it. They just want to make a lot of money with little effort. Go and work like the men and you should be fine. Many women that are serious have made it and will continue to make it. |
vizkiz:What law is that? |
BluntCrazeMan:Easy to say from the comfort of your keyboard. |
Some Nigerians are ridiculous, especially the girls (like the so called saphiere) and guys (if they actually are) that are angry that Deji said that. It's the best thing you can do for yourself. The only time you should not be worried is when the child looks like you. If they do, it's definitely yours. If not, you can do the test. An alleged human being even said they should do low sperm count so women don't cheat. So if she cheats, it's because of the man? You guys need to go for therapy. You all need help. The worst thing is for your wife to have a child for another man and you raise the child thinking it's yours. It's better to die than to raise a child that you didn't know wasn't yours. For the price, it's expensive because it's rarely done in Nigeria, if it's adopted by many, surely, it's going to destroy a lot of marriages (which is not good but is the right thing), but it'll drive the price down and become cheap. This should be something that all should be encouraged immediately after your wife delivers and if you can afford it, go for it. Don't be raising people's children because of your wife's infidelity. |
That's a monitor lizard. People eat that in most countries. Even in Nigeria, It's sold in many places. |
NwadykExcel:Some of you stop thinking with your heads in order to push your agenda. Every religion has its tenets. In most religions, men are leaders and women are helpers. So, by that very fact, the Priests lead mass. There's absolutely nothing wrong there and if you don't agree with the faith, you are free to not be a Catholic/Christian. You can have whatever agenda you want but don't expect others to bend to your will. No one can alter the doctrines of their faith, if they do, then it's no longer the same faith. Leave religion alone, most of you guys aren't even religious, so why the noise about the church? |
Kenn55:ah ah, na you name am? |
Nice one |
Did the magistrate court not know that they had no authority to issue such an order? Nigeria self. |
Tetrahedron:What Nigerian law are you quoting? My friend, if it's not a law in Nigeria, it's irrelevant in Nigeria and not poaching any crap. |
Mr. man, feel free to eat the animals, don't mind all the holier than thou animal activists. There's no reason you can't eat basically any animal, and you have committed no offense. The noise they are making is about laws that jobless people pushed for in other countries that have nothing better to do. They are not Nigerian laws and as a result, they do not matter. These people love animals more than humans, so ignore them. They are just making noise. People in different countries eat different animals. Eat and be merry. |
Is it that people and the mods can't see the topic/title? Is the English correct? And many people are just misusing "profit" and it's different forms here. |
And we are just watching them |
United Noble Rescue Service, not United Nations. |
kendrick93:If the hospitals were properly funded, they would be able to save more lives. They are underpaid for their services and yet you're blaming them. In other countries, they are well paid and hospitals are well funded so they do well there and more/most lives are saved there. You need to see Nigerian medical doctors abroad, they do so well there. They do the best they can here in Nigeria. They are not magicians. |
Take your time and do the needful. |
What were they even charged with or on bail for? Indeed, there was a country. |
Dead men tell no tales. |
Magnoliaa:In earnest, how does this show black men lord over black women as it shows that both the men and women are affected? It doesn’t really specify anything other than just the percentage, no other factors are put into consideration here. The research is just a compilation of numbers and I don’t think it has enough information to draw conclusions from. By your judgement, one can also say black women lord over men without having to provide information. |
Magnoliaa:Respect is different from the scenario you just gave. And by earned, if you give respect, you get respect. You can't just be there and expect to get respect when you don't give one. That's just what I mean. And tbh, I don't get how or where the men doing so to the women happens or comes from. Never seen that, at least, as far as I know. Can you point to any stats on that? |
Magnoliaa:It goes both ways. The women don't treat the men any better. Respect is earned if I'm not mistaken. The black women typically in the US have little to no respect for the black men, that's why the family unit isn't working for them. They have to know that you need to give it to get it. |
Magnoliaa:Where did you get the idea that black men are lords/judges over women? Pls, provide evidence. If you truly travel abroad, you'll see especially in the black communities, about 77% of the families have no man in the house. The women control the men outside. The families are messed up. And the idea that black men cry racism alone is incorrect. Both black men and women cry racism in the US. |
nnamdizen:Eggs aren’t formed during or after a menstrual cycle. All eggs are already present before birth in girls/women. They are just undergoing meiosis at different stages of development. Unlike men that produce sperm every time, women don’t produce any eggs after birth. Technically all eggs are old by the time they are fertilized. |
SeriouslySense:Many of them are as barbaric as SARS. You don't lynch someone because of opposing views or simply because you disagree with them. If you try that in a sane climate, you'll be locked up for a long time. If you have an argument, bring it to the table instead of talking about flogging him. |
Xisnin:Oshiomole didn't fight the government. He fought his opposition. He was always a snake and will forever be a snake. Sowore has been fighting since his university days. He has fought almost all regimes. He never picked any side and kept quiet when things weren't going well. He always spoke out. He has tried riling up the youths for a long, long time. We were just not ready until now. And the #EndSARS protest is a very commendable movement but that's not enough. They've dissolved SARS but people are still chanting #EndSARS. His movement would have been the best because it is/was vague enough to cover basically every issue. He should at least be respected for that. He should never be prevented from participating in anything. He has every right to protest just like every other citizen so pushing him is a No No. |
Tonitoniton:Jonathan was no better. Things were getting pretty bad later during his tenure. The dollar exchange rate increased from N150 to N170 then to N201/$1. Corruption was the order of the day under him. He was able to mask it all because of the crude oil price at that time. Don't be fooled. This would have happened eventually. Buhari is just as incompetent as GEJ, even more so. And for those saying Sowore is a politician, so therefore, it's a negative thing, you're all misguided. In order to hold any position of authority/government, one must be a politician. We can't sit back and leave politics. We need to infiltrate the parties or better still create a new one like what Sowore did. He didn't join APC or PDP. He went ahead and created a party. If we don't infiltrate, we'll still be left with the same old people. That's why Sowore joined politics in order to fight them since that'll be the most effective way to do so. But you all are against him for being against an incompetent tenure like every other tenure. He has good intentions and revolution now is for our own good. |
Turantula:I know you have difficulty comprehending things but I don't support APC in any manner of means. I'll rather die than vote for anyone in APC. What have they done for us to make me vote for them? I never voted for them and never will. |
Karleb:How is he a traitor and a hindrance? |
Karleb:Go and watch videos, he was there for several days, not just yesterday. Common sense suggests that #Endsars alone is not enough. He probably thought it would end there. He was only trying to use the opportunity to do more with the same straw. But the people misjudged him. There might be other motives but I can't tell. Regardless, this is not enough reason to treat him this way. |
sammy329:You think Sowore will have time to post opinions here? This is not Sowore. I'm a long time viewer on Nairaland. I never bothered to make an account until I saw the video. I wanted to air my thoughts on the matter but there's no way to vent if you don't register on the site. |
