Okay, looks like village people have finally gone mad o. They do not know I am like wind that can not be caught!

So I hit submit yesterday and I got the message in the attached screenshot. Who has had a similar experience and how did you resolve it. I used First Bank btw. And now, they are holding the money in Lien, meaning I no longer have access to it. Their exchange rate was evil also, 283.75! Whatsup with that?

1. I still have 2 days left on my deadline from today. That is Monday, 01st April, 2019 (I hope I am not wrong in this assumption?). Anyone knows what time exactly the final whistle blows?

I'm looking to get another set of monies and jejely use a friend's GTB on Monday morning. I hope it will not result to like a double payment or something of the sort?

After submission of application, how long does it take to acknowledge payment and start reviewing the applicants application? Someone submitted since 8th March and said nothing has changed after submission. I told him they should have at least acknowledged receipt of payment. Any ideas please?

On the issue of my stuck passport. I had earlier mailed CIC about my intention to submit the data page and then send the visa pages and stamped pages subsequently. Here is the reply I got. Emphasis in blue are mine.

So, apparently, you can submit an LOE for any documents you can not secure at the time of submission. This is not to take away from the fact that a complete application is most desirable and should be striven for by any means necessary. Please do not abuse this privilege.

Please house I tried starting my WES application and it's been saying pending for over 10 hours now. I want to get a reference number so that I can proceed with the submission of my credentials. Anytime I fill in my personal details, the column for street or po box address automatically erases. I don't know what the problem might be. is there anyone who could be of assistance to me or should I give them a Canada address? But I don't know anyone in Canada yet.

SA kept my visa for 5 weeks. Feb 1 to March 11.....if SA trip is not critical pls immediately ask for your passport back. Process is below.....it takes 48 hours minimum

Hmm. This is a tough one. Declining that ITA is definitely not an option seeing as your points will reduce due to age increase.

I suggest you go ahead and upload the scanned bio-data passport page, write an LOE and back it up with evidence (such as the visa application fee/receipt, email confirmation of visa application or email correspondences, visa appointment printouts, or anything you have that pertains to your SA application) that shows you applied for another visa and that you’re currently awaiting the delivery of your passport. This is quite a bummer as I wouldn’t want you to risk getting your PR application denied due to incomplete documentation.

I plan to attach the receipts in the LOE. The bolded here is why my heart is palpitating.

Upload the scanned data page and use LOE to explain that the passport is with SA embassy.
At the same time, write the SA embassy and tell them to hurry it along.
Then delay submission till you have two days to deadline. If passport is not back till then, submit. If it's back, then delete the LOE and scan your stamps

Who ta lose?

So that's how village people started working overtime on my case.

My passport has been in the South Africa embassy since 13th of this month (same day I went for medicals - In a bid to kill 2 birds with one stone). After I cleared medicals and returned home, I updated my forms with details of our heights so that there will not be discrepancies. Completing this section allowed me to move to the upload page where I realized I will need to scan all visa and stamped pages (I had previously scanned the data page in anticipation of a delay). It's been 2 weeks now and no response from vfs SA. I called them up today and they're telling me the visa application takes a minimum of 3 weeks (States 6 days on their site). This will coincide with my ITA expiry date and I ideally should not be waiting till the last day to make my submission.

What to do?

Cancelling the visa application should all things being equal let me have the passport back on my deadline which will also coincide with their 3 weeks.

Do I upload the scan I have and write an LOE and then upload the other pages as soon as I get the passport back?

No option of declining because I just managed to get ITA with spouse unaccompanying and 'byday' is by the corner.
