DaBullIT: If you read the atmosphere well
You'll see, sorrow, pain and disappointment in Nigerians
Even the video of the announcement made in FraudNubu's house, you can tell that the celebration isn't genuine
We all voted for Peter OBI, APC had to rig a structureless party, paid INEC, used thugs, snatched ballots and edited numbers massively, also not all the votes were counted before the declaration was made
Even if they shared cash to voters I'm one billion times cetsun that APC wouldn't have won, people just wanted their money I am telling you! Some people think this is a joke and it comes without repercussions. When you put an entire nation into such never-seen-before high level despondency you've set yourself and the entire nation up for failure. You've removed any type of patriotism, nationalizm and love and zeal for nation and service to it. What you've done is set a bad precedence and a domino effect that will last for a generation, killing the nation slowly and surely. Peter Obi is right, you can't build peace on a faulty foundation. |
Politics › First In History Where A Candidate's First Win Is Greeted With Such Mourning by LocalStandard1(op): 5:37pm On Mar 02, 2023 |
I have never in my life seen or experienced a time like these in Nigeria's entire history. If you have please share! Such high spirit, zeal, charisma before the elections shattered in a fell swoop.
This isn't even about Abuja or any single region, even in Lagos State and the South West. Total and absolute despondency, dejection, melancholy!
This is a first term win of the lifetime ambition of an individual. Yet the national quietness is just deafening.
How come?
Never in any country will a candidate's win, not just first time, be so gloomy and disconsolate. Never! We were here when Buhari won his second term and it wasn't half this.
This is no win or victory, this is a national level loss of the highest order!! Seriously ah jus cant, ah cant!!!

Politics › Do Not Let Anyone Make You Think This Struggle Is An Igbo Agenda! by LocalStandard1(op): 3:42pm On Mar 02, 2023 |
As we all know, this is the one, this is the only kind of strategy used by these people. Since Peter Obi declared to run for President, since he made his intentions known, even now after this so obvious fraud of an election, they continue and even double down on trying to make all these an everyone vs Igbo affair. It's not!
Everybody against this sham is automatically an Igbo, even GVR, the Lagos State Labour Party governorship candidate has all of a sudden turned to a "Chinedu". We've all been referred to as Igbos by them even though a majority of us aren't even so.
I know the modus operandi, I know how they think, and so should all patriotic and well meaning Nigerians looking and hoping for a better Nigeria. It's not a tribal or religious thing.
As Peter Obi has declared to fight for his stolen mandate we should all support him and stand together against the sloppy, stale tag of forcefully calling everyone an Igbo. They're stocking tribal tensions, but they know they can't take on everyone so they go for their regular and familiar so-called adversary.
We Will Reclaim Our Mandate, Together! |

sukkot: truly I think you are trying to use tortoise sense on me, who is Osinbajo ? Nobody knows him. If he had been up for the election instead of Tinubu he would be in the same bracket as sowore and that’s why your cunny cunny people wanted us to put him up instead of Tinubu. It’s like asking me to field my weakest player in the World Cup. That shows you hate me. Why would you ask me to field my weakest players ? . As for obasanjo the jury is still out if he is a Yoruba man. He loves igbo people more than he loves Yoruba people. He always sabotages Yoruba people. As for if anyone Yoruba has supported any igbo candidates ? You guys don’t really present good candidates. Why are you guys in the east wasting your talents ? You have someone like okonjo iweala and Soludo. Present these people to us and all the tribalism of Fulani and Yoruba will disappear . But you present tribalists and religious extremist under achievers like Peter obi and expect normal people to choose him over a wise sage like Tinubu . It’s not tribalism , it’s just that you are not presenting the right people To be sincere with you, you write so poorly I never bother reading everything. I only glanced at your first and last "sentences"(if you consider it that) then chuckle and realize you're just too young with very poor judgement to be here in the first place. |

I am not surprised coming from a Tinubu supporter you did your very best here, albeit a very shoddy one. Lets see how you survive without the Igbos and Peter Obi to always talk about. You're a confused person! I have glanced at your comments and posts for sometime(I don't bother reading, even this nonsense).
You come off as a confused person than a logical one really. The Igbos I know would have supported and voted for Osibanjo, and yes they did vote Obasanjo many times over.
So what are you saying from your first sentence(the only part I read)?
Have the Yorubas in their entire existence ever supported an Igbo person? Have they? Yet you want them to support a dead wood to proof "they're not hateful".
Which major tribe supported the Igbos as much as they supported the said tribe? Name one!! Yet they supported the Fulani, twice. They are the ones who lent their voices to Osibanjo when you Yorubas wanted to chew him up for contesting the Presidential primaries.
When Peter Obi comes out by 2027, if he doesn't reclaim his mandate now, the Igbos and we the Christian North will come through for him.
So sukkot, shut your tribally inspired confused hole and enjoy the stolen mandate! Okay?!
Peter Obi is the greatest Nigerian politician today, only him can pull off what nobody else can in Nigeria. |

I do not know if you're just trying to start a fight or cause confusion here but you're wrong.
The Igbos adapt very easily, especially in a Christian dominated areas and even the SS. Personally I think they do better at it than Hausas and Yorubas(I've lived among them in KD).
The most populated "tribe" (if you will) are the Christian Northerners. But like many other Northern States, you do not hear issue together with Igbos and it became easy to assimilate.
Or maybe you also want to say Plateau, Nasarawa, Taraba even Southern Kaduna are also Igbo dominated. |

The FCT, Abuja, has always been unlucky since 2015. All the candidates winning Presidential elections since 2015 have always lost Abuja's votes, but this very one is something else entirely. Never has a presidential candidate been so unpopular in the FCT in Nigeria's history.
This morning the FCT is looking and feeling quite very gloomy and down casted. You can't walk a regular street and not see people sitting with their heads down as if they've lost someone.
I am personally trying to look at the good side of everything and remove my mind from what just happened, but other people's despondency is still try'na get to me. Today is really a sad day for us in ABJ.
Let me go find food chop and maybe buy a packet of sweets lickam, watch plenty foreign comedy movies, hit the gym and chop some more. I don tire!

RoeEvi: Did you read to understand what you posted?
By virtue of the provisions of section 299 of the Constitution, it is so clear that Abuja, the Federal Capital of Nigeria, has the status of a State. (It is (as if) it is one of the States of the Federation). (Pp. 36-37, paras. E-A)
This simple means the FCT will be recognized (as if) it’s a state in Nigeria so that the Nigeria constitution will govern it.
But in the case of Electoral Act that has been quoted all evening up till now… it’s says 25% in 2/3 of the Nigeria states (and) 25% in the FCT because it doesn’t recognize the FCT (as if) it’s a state but rather as a capital territory.
I hope this is explanatory enough, I stand to be corrected as I’m open to thoughts so I get to know better. You did well taking it off my mouth and giving him. I don't like talking with these people cause they're more insulting than they're logical. |
