Not to bother you too much can you tell me how he said he wants to block shortages of crude oil. If it is not too much trouble I would like to see a link to where he said it.
I will really love that you watch and listen to that video till the end, hear how he plans to do that, solve the problems....

PoliticsRe: Who Else Have Noticed This About The Presidential Candidates? by LocalStandard1(op):

I have listened to Peter Obi and what he mainly does is emphasizing on the problems and saying little or nothing about the possible solutions. His candidature is riding on sentiments that is why his manifesto is not properly screened by his supporters. For starters how would he implement his policies if the national assembly is comprised of APC and PDP members? He knows this but he is riding on sentiments and gullibility of the youths.
The other 2 contestants are known for what they are but Peter Obi is being dressed in borrowed robes
Is it the same man that went on National television and exposed the stealing of oil and how he intends to block the shortages, cut cost of governance, revamp Northern agricultural prowess, lessen the load on the Lagos ports, dialogue with agitating groups etc? The same person with no corruption allegations to his name, declined receiving any benefits from the state as an ex two term Governor?

Seems we're listening to a different person then. Okay!

dat9jaguy:
When Peter Obi was asked how he intended to tackle security, he said even with a gun to his head he will never reveal his security plans until he is elected. Does that look like someone discussing his manifesto and plans with Nigerians huh Peter Obi is just going round the country for photo ops.
Baba I hope and pray we don't turn this into an argument but have you listened to him? Have you watched him?

Come on my man, drop the sentiment and let's see reason for once, shall we? In only months he's said more than Atiku in 3 decades.

Are you sure of that person you support?
You hate him, even I don't like him either, until months ago and I started really listening to him. And he's the only one available readily for that, scrutiny.

Come on my man! Are ready to give this country to someone you don't hear from? Cos I am sure of giving it to the Labour Party's Peter Obi cos I hear from him. I even hear from his deputy, his deputy my good friend!!
PoliticsWho Else Have Noticed This About The Presidential Candidates? by LocalStandard1(op):
I am about saying something that seems already obvious but still a mystery.

Who else noticed this about the Presidential candidates? Only Peter Obi is actively and almost solely meeting with the Nigerian populace. Only Peter Obi dignifies traditional rulers by meeting with all in every area he visits. Only Peter Obi meets with Students and the youths in all areas he visits. Only Peter Obi is ever ready to meet with any media house and public and intellectual gatherings to talk his plans and manifesto.

Wait a minute, before you say he's out seeking the attentions, why aren't the others readily available for scrutiny and questioning? What do we really even know about the other major candidates and their plans and intentions?

I think this is scary and we're in scary times cos we don't know what is going on in their minds. We are more than 200 million humans, in a very struggling country, in a developing country, all intending candidates need to be heavily searched and their plans and intentions known in-depth. From the major contender to the lest known candidate, cos anyone can be the next President and possibly for almost a decade from now.

These others are busy campaigning to be President, only one is actually saying what he'll do as President, and saying it to anyone who cares to listen. Being a President is more than just who "wants" to be President, cos we all will want that, to be President.

We should be scared, we don't know what to expect from the rest other than a burning desire to be a President.

Don't mind him, some on here are just Nigeria blind. Even if, for example, the Kenyan money was a square piece of antelope dung, he would say it was better than the Nigeria one and those like him would celebrate. He posted infantile, over-designed notes from all over Africa that are just as, classless, banna Republic looking as majority of their flags.
It's people like that who are happy to dump the superior things of Nigeria for the inferior ways of other places in Africa.
You've said it all!

Very beautiful.
Before I actually saw it, I had been reading up comments that made me believe that the new notes were not beautiful.
But alas, they are all beautiful, especially the 200 naira.
I like the green of the 500 naira too.
The 1000 naira is not that beautiful. It is the one that actually looks dyed.
Exactly my thought.

The old one is beautiful than this new shit.
If you've seen other African countries notes, like Egypt, Angola etc, you'll see what they call beauty.
I might even attach the photos.
I want people to see that our currency which was beautiful before is now behind many African country currency.
If you go through my posts you will discover my party and ideological affiliations. Trust me when I tell you I've made this post from a neutral ground.

Beauty does not only lie in over doing things, the most beautiful things are the simple ones. Appreciate the Nigerian currency, tell me your best looking one, the sophistication.

You dug up pictures of over designed and in many cases meaningless designed currencies, but even so this is not a currency by country comparison thread but Nigerian own currencies.

Today, this evening is the first time I am holding the 200 Naira note as my own. I saw it with people but never owned it to give it a good scrutiny.

Holding this one now and giving it an up close look I have to say, I approve of the new 200 Naira. Even though it's only a change of ink, this color change fits it perfectly well and I love it.

It's the best designed Nigerian currency for me, and pictures do not do enough Justice to it.

Which one is yours?

Stop disturbing us with this bigot's issues. The best thing to ever happen to modern Nigerian politics is not only Peter Obi's coming, but the failed alignment with this Northern sac of issue of a person. The second best is the alignment with Datti Baba Ahmed.

If perfection was a name Obi/Datti is it.

PoliticsAfter Listening To This Candidate I Now Feel Like Becoming A Lagosian by LocalStandard1(op): 9:04am On Jan 27, 2023
I have been watching and reading about Lagos for as long as I was a Nigerian (forever), but never really liked the state for ones.

Well, after Seun provided this ingenuity of presenting a governorship candidate of a leading political party for us on here to ask him questions and hear his answers and opinions, I feel now more than ever imagined connected to a State I never visited or even liked.

If you win, when you win the Lagos State governorship elections Sir I will very much visit in your administration. If you win, when you win Sir and you perform according and beyond expectations I might relocate there.

Thank you Seun for this platform and thank you GRVLagos for your engagement with us here. Good Luck!

Till then, win or loose something has been birthed right in our eyes, and I am loving it!

Yul Edochie should be careful with this woman. Toxic bitter feminists have already possessed her, now that she has wined and dined with em she discovered the kind of people they are and she wants to come back to the husband, but he should be careful, she might be back for destruction.

He should just continue live with the new wife, his children are grown, they will locate him. Don't try to manage a toxic woman, it is your live that's at risk.

A Nairalander made a post. A so called analysis of the possible outcome of the 2023 elections. He said....

"NOTE 1: For 2023, I have added 5% to 2019's voters turnout across all states of the federation except the SE region and Lagos where I have added 10% to reflect the social media buzz and enthusiasm of our brothers/sisters from across the River Niger

This statement clearly shows who he made the post to and his state of mind making it, also why he went to so much effort to put up so plenty a writing.

I am not from "across the River Niger" but I got the message very well and clearly.

Peter Obi's supporters are far and wide, far beyond "The River Niger", so why the obvious undertones? Why always attacking the people from "across the River Niger"? What wrong have they done? What offense have they committed? Is it wrong for someone from "across the River Niger" to contest for the Presidency?

I want all PDAPC to know that
OBIDIENTS are way beyond "The River Niger"
