Many people here are talking as if they are the custodians of knowledge. Most of you are privileged with the right parents or relatives to give you a good start.
Some of us never knew our parents, nobody to comfortably go to for material or even intellectual help.

You go to sleep each day of your life afraid that the person you're staying with can just decide to kick you out the next day. Especially if you're ambitious and intelligent but completely disadvantaged. You should be quiet let those of us in that situation talk. Thank you.

Finally , we had to admit to d story so that mum would spare us.

That was when d real beating started. Its a long story though.

Whenever grandma feels bored , she'd come to our house, strip us naked and start her own flogging.

Wow, that's looking very good. I can't cook stew and soup but every other thing comes quite natural and for that I haven't eaten any swallow or stewed rice in a while cos I cook the food I eat mostly. I eat far above average so don't get satisfied eating out.
