I know it isn't. And I was referring to redirect to original page; not session management. But it does appear that the way sessions are handled is flawed.

What you mean to say is this story has put fear in your mind. Somebody told us of his experience, you are doubting the story (I guess that's your own coping strategy).
Programming › Re: Redirecting Back To Original Page After Login. by logica(m): 1:33am On Jan 11, 2013
I see. I don't know how it works in PHP, but this is what I expect when dealing with a standard web application:

Before a user logs on he is anonymous but has a session (which you can call anonymous session).

When he logs on, he then has a new (authenticated) session which is no longer the same as the anonymous session.

So if you had previously saved anything in the anonymous session you cannot access them in the new (authenticated) session; as they are not the same.

If the session you have pre-login and post-login are the same, I think that's a major security flaw.

I was just curious about how PHP uses sessions. By the way I am surprised PHP has no standard way of dealing with this as do quite a number of off-the-shelve web application frameworks.

chic2pimp: "the reason he is a deep lying is because he can no longer run as fast"

Oh lawd Im now pretty sure you've never seen Pirlo play? Pirlo run as fast? When has he ever be known for his pace? You sure you are not confusing him for someone else? Well let me as an AC MILAN fan be the one to correct that gaffe of yours. Pace has never and would never be one of Andrea's strenghts. Even my pet Snail is faster.

Let me again as a Milan fan be the one to tell u Pirlo has never been our attacking Midfielder. We've had players like Seedorf,Rui Costa, Kaka and Even Rivaldo for a brief period occupy that position not pirlo. All of his best performances either as a Rossoneri, an Azzuri or a Juventini have been from that Deep Lying position. Ditto for Brescia too(im sure you'll never have known that since you've probably never watched a Serie A game in your life)

May I also explain to u Deep Lying Midfielders(probably never heard of that word much more knew Pirlo was one Had I not mentioned it)do have to have some sort of Defensive acumen in them. Talking in terms of spatial awareness and Tactical intelligence. Hence the reason why the likes of Guardiola and Nando Redondo were also Deep lying playmakers.

Schooling from Wiki? Don't think so. Unlike u who has only seen Pirlo play a handful of times, I used to watch him every week and still do most weeks. Also you'll find the article which you are quoting has a separate heading for Attacking Midfielders. That alone should tell they are two entirely different positions
Give it up already mugu; you don't know what "deep lying midfielder" means (by the way it's a "phrase" not a "word"; all these half-baked graduates sef). It's right there in the article. A deep lying midfielder is an attacking midfielder. You can gripe all day and night long and watch more Pirlo videos. Won't change anything. You don't know much about football neither do you know what his role is about. By the way Guardiola was a holding midfielder; exact same role played by Busquets today. Deep lying midfielder ko...

You've been crying over Pirlo being cheated yet you can't even tell what his role is all about; you don't know the difference between "deep lying midfielder" and a "holding midfielder". Once again the Guardiola reference gave you away. Guardiola performed defensive duties; which a "deep lying midfielder" does not. When I asked you to give me how many turn-overs Pirlo has in a game on average, you ran off and came back to post gibberish after going to study his profile page somewhere. Pirlo does not defend; which is why you will still need a defensive midfielder to play that role. Yet you claim he plays a more defensive role.

By the way, when did you watch your first Serie A match? Fake a$$.

Pirlo started his career as an offensive midfielder until coach Fatih Terim developed a deep-seated playmaking role while at Brescia, with Roberto Baggio in the attacking midfield role.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea_Pirlo

Now forgive me if my memory of Italian football or Pirlo is hazy (I hardly pay attention to it these days since it got boring after the late 90s), but the fact remains; he's an attacking midfielder, and still is. Whether deep lying, or out-and-out offensive. And it doesn't change the fact that you are ignorant of his role.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Lionel Messi Wins Ballon D'or Award by logica(m):
chic2pimp: Well he is a more of a defensive midfielder than the attacking one u claim he is.
Btw check out the meaning of a deep lying playmaker
Lol. Yes sir. Please tell me how many turn-overs he has on average per game. For your info (I guess you didn't finish reading up on his career), the only reason he's "deep lying" these days is simply because of his age; he can no longer run as fast. He has always been an attacking midfielder even through his career at AC Milan. Unlike Xavi who we know for his defensive acumen. Maybe I should explain the term "deep lying" to you. It simply means though he's an attacking midfielder, he starts the attack from "deep". Not "deep" for a defensive reason. Simple.

If you need more schooling, check here:

Some players prefer to set up an attack from a withdrawn position, and are often coined ''deep-lying playmakers'', mainly because of their ability to spread play and dictate the game from a withdrawn position. Despite their deep role, they are not classed as defensive midfielders as tackling and defence are not the main function of their roles, and they may have to be supported by a holding midfielder.

J12: Messi is fortunate to be playing in a very compact team like Barca for a very long time. This helped him alot, he can't outshine other attackers in the world if he played in another team. He has been able to develop and improve on his overall performance rapidly because of the barca system.
If C. Ronaldo was in Barca for a long time like messi, he would've been at messi's level (although messi will still be better). If a player of Ronaldinho's quality was in this Barca squad, Messi won't win the award. I bet my life on that.
This goes to show the football world is lacking in rare talents, the ronaldinhos, da limas, del pieros, maradona, okocha's etc
There are better tactics and strategies now than before, but the talents to compliment the system is lacking. Only messi, neymar and a few others.
Messi is what he is today because of barca, he's really fortunate.
If this, if that. Blah blah blah. Deal with the realities. Ronaldo de Lima's era is gone. Ronaldinho's era is gone. This is Messi's era. Each of those Greats briefly had their era overlap; but they each dominated their era. Only de Lima had to contend with Zizou (Zidane).

Each of them had elements that built them up. de Lima was built up by playing Beach Football. That built up his stamina and pace. That's why the world had never seen a player dribble while running so fast.

Ronaldinho got his skills from playing Futsal from a tender age. That built up his close ball control and ability to use confined spaces. That's why you see him wriggle free from seemingly tight spaces when cramped by defenders.

Both de Lima and Ronaldinho were lucky to be in the same great Brazilian team that won the WC in 2002. That team of course also had the great Rivaldo! It would've been sacrilege if that team didn't win the WC. Teams win trophies, not individuals. By the way, de Lima's other "win" was in 1994 when he spent the entire tournament on the bench! How dare de Lima step on the pitch with the likes of Romario Farias controlling affairs!

They were all lucky one way or the other too; just like Messi.

passion007: Interesting article. But the reviewer's inferences would be unassailable had he told us what qualifies for poverty. What parameters were used to define poverty. In my opinion, poverty is well beyond not being able to provide food for oneself and ones family. It also encompasses certain other considerations as access to health care, access to amenities like good roads, potable water, electricity, living conditions like overcrowding, toilet facilities, access to quality education for oneself and one's family, environmental cleaniness, personal and community hygiene and so on.
BTW, I'm not suggesting that the west it's unlikely to be the least poor zone in Nigeria. I'm only saying that this is a research and the methodology is a glaring omission
I believe the definition of poverty is standard enough.

Poverty is the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money. Absolute poverty or destitution refers to the deprivation of basic human needs, which commonly includes food, water, sanitation, clothing, shelter, health care and education. Relative poverty is defined contextually as economic inequality in the location or society in which people live.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty

This is no different from what you said above.

Yes, it is politics. It is a popularity contest more than anything. And it keeps showing that even with the number of Nigerian haters (very high because Nigerians usually hate anything good or successful), world-wide this wonderful work of art is generally loved; even more by those closest to the game (reporters and team captains). And not just the fans.

At the end of 2012, Sokoto State remained the poorest state in the country, with 81.2 per cent poverty rate, the records of the National Bureau of Statistics have shown.

According to the information on states of the federation, posted on the bureau’s website, other states with over 70 per cent poverty rate include Katsina, 74.5 per cent; Adamawa, 74.2 per cent; Gombe, 74.2 per cent; Jigawa, 74.1 per cent; Plateau, 74.1 per cent; Ebonyi, 73.6 per cent; Bauchi, 73 per cent; Kebbi, 72 per cent and Zamfara, 70.8 per cent.

The state with the lowest poverty rate was Niger with 33.8 per cent, followed by Osun with 37.9 per cent and Ondo, 45.7 per cent.

Others with less than 50 per cent poverty rate were Bayelsa State, 47 per cent and Lagos State, 48.6 per cent.

The average poverty rate of the states in the North -West geopolitical zone remained the highest at 71.4 per cent followed by North-East 69.1 per cent and North Central, 60.7 per cent.

The record showed that poverty was least prevalent in the South-West, with an average of 49.8 per cent, followed by South-South, 55.5 per cent and South-East, 59.5 per cent.

According to NBS, national unemployment rate stood at 23.9 per cent at the beginning of 2012.

There were no figures for 2011 but the 2012 statistics represented an improvement in the figures released by the bureau for 2010.
