Do you guys see the quality of posts in other forums? You can actually LEARN from them. The objective of online forums are to share ideas, news and opinions in a COLLABORATIVE manner, not throwing daggers at each other.

Mr_Anony: You seem to be equating legality to morality. Morals are the way human beings judge good and evil, the fact that people actually try to make laws tells you that there must be an element of objectivity else no one can possibly be judged since all human beings are equal and everyone seeks to justify himself. these laws that you have quoted especially in Arab countries are still regarded as oppressive even by the muslims themselves. someone may hide behind religion or behind the law to do something but deep down, his conscience will still prick him. You cannot tell me that the soldiers who killed Jews in Nazi Germany did it without any guilt or that the boys and girls who are not allowed to talk in public in Oman truly don't want to socialize because it is morally wrong to them.
An easy way to judge what is truly right or wrong may be this; assuming that there were no Governments or religions, what would people still condemn as evil and what would they uphold as good? As unrealistic as this question might look, i[b]f you honestly answer this question to yourself, you will realize that all people agree on the same basic moral code which you may define as "love thy neighbour as thyself"[/b]

obowunmi: Noth countries are neither good nor bad. You are more likely to get away with crimes in Nigeria. If I kill someone and bribe the right people, I will live a normal life. But in the U.S everyone is punished for their crimes, especially Blacks.

Humans in general are innately evil and wicked. So the wickedness is the same everywhere, how the law is applied however, differs.

If it were to be whites, they wouldn't have acted like Mr Dollar's daughter acted. The whites got their own problem but most of the actions of black children in America not all, are nothing to write home aout. Most early pregnancies were mostly blacks.

I was shocked when I was asked by a 23 yr Black American guy we worked together in same restaurant to help write his name on a back of his payroll check given to him on a pay day 'cos he cant write. I helped him do that but this was same guy accusing a fellow Nigerian guy of Yoruba tribe that we work together that he cant speak English because of his thick ascent.

A 15 yr girl leaving home by 1a.m in the morning to party and we call that her right? If she get killed or molested by gangs in the night, than her father will be accused of not doing the right thing and also as a pastor, he will be called names. He must have been pushed to the wall to have reacted negatively as a result of the young lady's actions on that early hours of the day.
Well those saying she did right should be blessed with such children that will call the cops on you as parents. That is why they get destroyed at early stage. Do you know how many of them that drop out of school as a result of early pregnancy or abuse of drugs? You see kids as young as 7yrs having guns and selling drugs? If you don't know America, then you keep your mouth short.

I have to disagree with you. I make bold to say that morality is objective: Good and bad are clear cut to pretty much everyone. Else we cannot possibly have judge anyone o have any meaningful rules or community.

Morality is a human thing. Our problem is that we assume that we are better than the next man.
The first question one has to ask is -"what is moral?"
I am sure that you will be surprised with the answers you get.

Yet one was quickly declared for the victims of the unfortunate Dana airline diseaster. It seems to me that both situations are equally tragic. Why the different treatments? chyket: I think the issue of tithing is a personal one but I must confess that my most difficult times financially comes any period I neglect my tithing obligations.
I see tithing as an opportunity to make God a stakeholder in your business and I have observed that each time I stop tithing ,I will cease to experience all those transactions that come to you and you recognize that you have really not sweated for them.
You will just begin to notice that most incomes you make will depend primarily on the amount of handwork you put into every venture.
After going through my life experiences financially,I think I prefer my tithe paying periods basically.
I also notice that the tithe does not actually affect my finances noticeably so I think I am better off giving it to God.

This is an absolutely necessary procedure because i find it a very hard job to try to break the faith of the christians and muslims by jumping from one forum to the other and convincing them to return to the Traditional Pagan Faiths. Also, you must understand that if chrisitans and muslims are made to face each other, the truth will show itself to us through their constant bickering. it also makes my job easier in order to present the facts to all of them together, and The Great West African Nation of Nigeria will finally have its Religious Solution.

yes it is the village where one wife will have 10 children, but it is NOT the village where one man will have 3 wives. Wives are very expensive especially in Northern villages, even though in many cases Polygamy is allowed. but the TRUTH is that it is very rarely practiced.

as for having many children, it is done because children in the village have very low mortality due to poverty and disease, so they die young. according to their mentality, if you have many children, atleast some will survive and be able to work for the family and the girls will help gain a suitable dowry.
