In a normal society, that girls death will be investigated as a matter of serious public interest. At the height of BLM protests a black guys suicide was investigated to be certain whether he was killed. Here in Nigeria we can't even investigate the death of a national heroine. And have they found out the killers of 2pac and biggie? |

I dedicate this song (numb, by liking park) to your boy friend:
I'm tired of being what you want me to be Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface I don't know what you're expecting of me Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow Every step that I take is another mistake to you Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow I've become so numb, I can't feel you there Become so tired, so much more aware By becoming this all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you
Can't you see that you're smothering me? Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control 'Cause everything that you thought I would be Has fallen apart right in front of you
Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow Every step that I take is another mistake to you Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow And every second I waste is more than I can take!
I've become so numb, I can't feel you there Become so tired, so much more aware By becoming this all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you
And I know I may end up failing too But I know you were just like me with someone disappointed in you I've become so numb, I can't feel you there Become so tired, so much more aware By becoming this all I want to do Is be more like me and be less like you I've become so numb, I can't feel you there I'm tired of being what you want me to be I've become so numb, I can't feel you there I'm tired of being what you want me to be |

You will continue watching and wailing till six feet. APC = Lagos; Lagos = APC thewatcher2020: Elections in Nigeria fast becoming a sham. Aren’t we ashamed of ourselves? Is Jimi Agbaje so unpopular that he’s unable to claim victory in any of the local governments? Surely, that’s not possible.
The results we are seeing today and as seen two weeks ago is a testament to the fact that Africa wasn’t designed to operate the system of democracy. There is nothing democratic about the black man -precisely Nigerian. How best do you explain people like Oshiomhole and Tinubu making utterances befitting of the Street urchins in the build up to the elections and still having their party claim victory at the polls?
We need to decentralise power, reduce the power of Abuja and give the regional governments some level of control over its resources. That way, a Warri youth wouldn’t give a shii.t about what the Bourdillion lion is on about or if a 3 year old kid is voting in Zamfara. That way, you wouldn’t have to fund the profligacy lifestyles of some politicians whose states and/or region is contributing nothing to the National purse!
I really don’t see a meaningful headway out of our current predicament as a nation. The youths are ever docile, the most docile youths in the world. Just take a look at the general populace, we’ve become so helpless that these politicians know that they’d get away with just about anything. It’s insane sharing the same country as most of my fellow citizens. Sacrificing my life for Nigeria is never a problem, but you I.diots would continue living your lives like nothing happened. It’s painful watching Nigerians live a subpar life abroad -people with masters packing sh.it of old people, doing maiguard and taxi drivers and all sorts of odd job just because the leadership and electorates back home are some unreasonable set of humans. Sad sad sad! |

You do not have to pity anybody. Just contribute your opinion. Hermes019: Its such a pity that Christians don't even understand the bible they read " a sin that is unto death", in the context it was used is speaking of sins that the punishment is death e.g adultery ,the law given to Moses stipulates death punishment to certain sins, that is what the bible means by "sin that is unto death" |

SpaceAngel: I asked specific questions not global. Can you give like few examples of those that lead to hell and few that don't? I don't want to assume. I won't mind the actual verses where they are. I do not understand what you mean by global. If it is by what I think then what you will find in the bible is also global except for the ten commandments. Based on Catholic teachings, sins like murder and adultery can lead to death (soul). There are also sins that do not lead to death. More examples: 1. A man deliberately stole 1000 naira from a rich man. The rich man did not feel the impact but was disappointed when he found out. 2. A man deliberately stole 1000 naira from an ailing man. The man died because he could not buy his medication I will leave the rest to common sense. |

SpaceAngel: If all sins are not equal, where is a list of sins and their accompanying punishment? Does it mean there are sins one can commit as they are of lesser degree and they will not lead to hell fire? If all sins lead to hell fire then what is the need for saying there are different degree of sins? 1 John 5:16 will provide you with the answers |
Christianity Etc › Re: Not All Sins Are Equal, Some Are Greater Than Each Other by loko50(m): 9:04am On Mar 03, 2019 |
oluxy: No one should deceive him or herself, all sins are equal before God Almighty.
Sin is sin. Lying is a sin as equal to murdering. No any other names but sin. If you are a Christian, then I advise you to study the following passages well. The problem is with the interpretation of the Bible: 1 John 5:16 "If any man see his brother sin a sin [which is] not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it." The sin here, I believe is when a man totally rejects the salvation in the Lord Jesus. God will not overrule the will of the person being prayed for. The prayer of intercession is a powerful prayer. It is an unselfish prayer for others. It is in the will of God to save all of mankind. The unselfish prayer, prayed by someone who firmly believes, will be answered, if the person being prayed for has not totally turned against God. In the book of James, we read: James 5:14-15 "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:" "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." We see from this, that it is correct to pray for the sins of others to be forgiven. The only time this would not be answered, would be if the person had totally rejected salvation in Jesus Christ. You cannot give a person something that they will not take. 1 John 5:17 "All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death." We see in the following Scripture in Jesus' own words that sins will be forgiven. The only one that will not, is the sin against the Holy Ghost, which I believe is dying not believing in Jesus Christ. Matthew 12:31 "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy [against] the [Holy] Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." |

clefstone: Edo can geographically be called a SS state but it's certainly not in the Niger Delta. What most people do not know is that South South and Niger Delta are not synonymous, while the entire ND region is in d SS, not all of the SS is in the ND. Guess your confusion arises from this misunderstanding I think it is the other way round: Western Niger DeltaWestern Niger Delta consists of the western section of the coastal South-South Nigeria which includes Delta, and the southernmost parts of Edo, and Ondo States. The western (or Northern) Niger Delta is an heterogeneous society with several ethnic groups including the Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri, Ijaw (or Izon) and Ukwuani groups in Delta State; the Bini, Esan,Auchi,Esako, oral, igara and Afenmai in Edo State; and the Yoruba (Ilaje) in Ondo State. Their livelihoods are primarily based on fishing and farming. History has it that the Western Niger was controlled by chiefs of the four primary ethnic groups the Itsekiri, Isoko, Ijaw and Urhobo with whom the British government had to sign separate "Treaties of Protection" in their formation of "Protectorates" that later became southern Nigeria. Central Niger DeltaCentral Niger Delta consists of the central section of the coastal South-South Nigeria which includes Bayelsa, Rivers, Abia and Imo States. The Central Niger Delta region has the Ijaw (including the Nembe-Brass, Ogbia, Kalabari people, Ibani of Opobo & Bonny, Abua, Okrika, Engenni and Andoni clans), the Ogoni People (Khana, Gokana and Eleme) and the Igbo (Etche, Ogba, Ikwerre, Ndoni, Ekpeye and Ndoki) in Rivers State. Eastern Niger DeltaEastern Niger Delta consists of Cross River State and Akwa Ibom State. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niger_Delta#Western_Niger_Delta |
