Let's cut Peter Obi some slack, please.

He did marvelously well in his days as governor going by Nigerian standard.

Governor Bello of Kogi state has no moral ground to advise anyone in Nigeria.

Bello has made me realize youths of these days will be worse than the old men ruling us if given the opportunity.

Peter Obi, as a Nigerian politician, you are not 100% a saint going by the world's standard.

But using Nigerian scale of political measurement, you scored more than 95% as a governor.

The earlier you shut up and allow these saga pass, the better for you.

Having met you in government house in Awka in your days as governor, anywhere I see your poster, you sure have my vote.

There is currently tension in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Capital after members of the Ebubeagu Security Network Shutdown New Building Materials in the State.

Speaking with IGBERE TV correspondent in Abakaliki, some of the traders said members of Ebubeagu stormed the New Building Materials in the early hours of Wednesday and locked up the place.

A trader who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity said they were asked to pay the sum of Five Hundred Thousand (N500,0000) Naira to compensate the owners of the land.

"When we couldn't pay the money, they sent Ebubeagu to come and lock up our businesses. You can see the whole place is Shutdown," the trader told our correspondent.

One Mr Martins Diclson from Okobe, Ahoada-West Local Government Area in Rivers State was lashed for stealing plantain. The incident happened in Bayelsa State.

According to a Facebook user who stated that Mr Martins is a specialist in stealing people’s plantain, said on Sunday, 3rd of October, he was caught in the act. The Facebook user also said that Martins was fined after being lashed. This, to them, was a better decision than handing him over to the police.

I hate it when Nigerians praise governors (or politicians) when they do what they were elected to do. Is working on roads not part of tbe governor's job?

So i boarded my plane this morning and i can say it was a great experience thanks to all your contributions and tips. Lemme start like this, I woke up so early as my flight was at 8:25 since it's my first time i needed to play safe to avoid stories that touch i didn't give my village people a chance in that aspect.

I arrived at the airport few minutes to 7 and by 7:10 i was done checking in and ready for boarding (I didn't expect it to be so fast and smooth tho)

That was how i started pressing my phone and carefully paying attention to the announcements that one could barely hear. (I think airports need to do better as some of us no dey understand that kind accents) They can just past the announcement on a screen for people to read, anyways what do i know? maybe people have not missed flight as a result of that.

Ehen so while waiting, i was just observing everything, i saw one bros seated behind me so i walked up to him and confessed. "Bros no vex, na my first flight bdis, abeg if dem announce air peace flight to lagos just let me know" he smiled and said i shouldn't worry. Few minutes later i heard the announcement naso i pack my things go join queue, kudos to air peace (unlike the other announcements i heard, they used one local accent to announce before the normal posh accent repeated the announcement so it was easy for me to know it's time to board.

They did the normal thing and i was inside the plane naso i just dey look like village boy. i followed the suggestion by some good NLanders and watched how to fasten a plane seat belt so it was not an issue, i no disgrace my ancestors. except for the air hostess that was rude when i asked her for my seat everything went fine, i was so calm and composed like i've done this before. The plane took off and few minutes later we're flying above the clouds i was just smiling all through then i felt a sharp pain in my left ear, boom i no dey hear well again. then i remembered i was told here, i just swallowed saliva and i'd regain my hearing, it continued through out the flight. some of the things i noticed through the flight was:

Majority of land, like 70 percent is uninhabited, i saw my knowledge of geography come into play as we ascend into the sky, i could easily identify all the different layers like atmosphere, lithosphere and the rest it was like we're traveling to space, asin after all science no dey lie oo but above all God is the greatest. My experience helped me to believe God more, like he created all these things, he has the power to do anything so why even doubt him.

At some point during the flight, the plane was vibrating and turning anyhow lol but i didnt panic because i remembered nairalanders told me about it, i was seated by the window and stayed awake all through. Like 20 minutes into the flight, the pilot said "for those of you sitting by the right if you look by the window we are just flying over ibadan" naso i look and was like, oga i no see ibadan here ooo na just thick cloud i see.
That was how i landed in lagos around 10am and the weather was looking like 4pm nawao. i enjoyed my flight sha and i hope to do this again, but next time it should be canada not lagos.

Just around 12,000ft above sea level...na im you dey shout? When you go fly international of about 35,000/40,000ft nko?

We used to be lovers back in uni , We broke up at some point and lost contact. Earlier this year we reconnected at a party and it was obvious we still had feelings for each other.

We started dating and everything seemed nice at first. He never told me he was married. After months of dating , i started to get suspicious as he wouldn't let me visit his home , instead he was always coming to mine and meeting up at hotels. We had a big fight about it and he finally told me the truth. He kept on pleading and asking that we continue dating. I couldn't even leave if I wanted to, I was in love with him.

I am 2 months pregnant and he has been avoiding me. He calls just once in two days and has told me to do whatever I want with the pregnancy , that he is fine with my decisions. I want to keep him and the baby and I'm scared he may ghost up on me. Last night I found his wife and some of his relatives on Facebook and I want to send them texts about it. I really need advise on this.

Leave his relatives and wife out of this, first. Let him know you are keeping the pregnancy and he should be ready to support you.

If he says, OK...you are good. If he says "To he!l with you", then threaten him you have found his wife and that you will go further to report to his place of work.

I was having a conversation with a lady and two guys a couple of days ago, and in the course of the conversation I told them I rarely drink alcohol (just a bottle of Heineken in a month or two), I don't smoke, I don't womanize and I don't crave for money.
I was told that I wasn't normal, that an average man must indulge in one or two of those vices.
