gypsey:Whatever you said is not an opinion. It is bad belle. Period! If we have a thread where a man beheaded a woman in public, and someone leaves a comment that we shouldn't condemn the man without first knowing what the woman did. According to you it is just an opinion, and others that don't agree should just vamose? All these policing of how people should spend their money is unhealthy. The whole economy of Las Vegas is thriving on the backs of people who spend like the man in the video. Since you know how to give financial advice, why not you open a firm or start a blog (it's free) and actually put your talent to good use. -Lord |
gypsey:You that is not mentally sick, how many iPhones have you bought in your life? In fact, I wonder why I dey reply u sef. The guy don march with him Rolls Royce Ghost, e no even know say u exist. Mk moi carry myself comot this thread. But as I dey talk, since you know how to identify "mentally sick" people so easily, biko go and open a psychiatric hospital so that you'll be of more use to the society. Not giving free diagnosis on NL to people that don't even need it. -Lord |
gbosaa:Who asked you for your opinion? Busybody! The owner has already received payment for the damages and would open another store, prolly bigger after this episode. The attendant has learned her lesson, and the guy has made his point. Yet you are here foaming in the mouth, as if the guy borrow money from you. I don't want to assume you're poor, but please learn to mind your own business! It'll free up much time to concentrate on your own business. I cannot suffer and make my own money, then one idiot from somewhere wen no know how I use tk hustle go dey suggest how I suppose spend my own money! Them no born that animal well! -Lord |

SalomonKane:Spoken like a true juvenile. Eiya, pele. The thing touch you abi. Let me leave you to continue wallowing in stupidity before someone accuses me of child molestation. Abeg run to mummy, afternoon Sunday rice go soon set. If I exchange vituperative words with a mad child, what would that make me? -Lord |
SalomonKane:Iranu! You made a baseless post. I replied it. You said my reply holds no water. I ask you to explain yourself. Then you play the dumb classic "if you don't understand English it is not my fault" card. You didn't expect anyone would call you out for your stupid, incoherent post did you? If you can't take the heat, better find a rope and do the needful. All these kids on NL. N just when I thought I was replying someone with a working brain! -Lord. |
ayokellany:What will my retribution be for? For being a voice against the murderers that your support. You are just heaping more coal on your head, you don't know. It's coming for you. There's no hiding for you. Keep supporting unwanton murder. Just mark today's date. -Lord |
SalomonKane:So tell me, Oga Don't Quote Me, what was the point of your post? -Lord |
All these broke ass niggas commenting like they have enough money that they can now dictate how others should spend their money. If you don't like what he did, f**k you. If you think you'd have done better, f**k you. If you think he didn't do the right thing, f**k you. When you make your own money, you can use it how you please. Someone made his own money, and chose to use it to send a vital lesson. You that do not know the person from Adam, nor how he worked for the money is judging him. See all of them. Senior Special Advisers on how to spend money. Why not you open a personal finance blog and profit your limitless wealth of wisdom. Iranu! -Lord |
SalomonKane:Well that's what your post suggested. What two consenting adults do with their bodies is not anyone's business. Especially when it does not hurt anyone. If an Emir does not want any backlash, he should marry a lady that's at least 18 years of age. It's that simple. -Lord |
SalomonKane:18 years is acceptable. 12 years (as is the case with the Katsina Emir) is unacceptable. Especially, when she was kidnapped, forcefully converted, then married. Even abroad where people marry dogs and trees, an adult dares not have sexual relations with anyone under 18 (a minor). Na sex offender list your name go enter sharperly. To find job go hard you and you'd have a permanent stigma. So if you can call those on the other end of the planet immoral, yet condone pedophilia, then we know the real demons don't we? Nigerians want everyone to be like them. If he's not going to church or doesn't believe in God, he is EVIL. If he doesn't like girls, he has demons. If she's friendly, she's a ho'. May God help all of you! -Lord |
ayokellany:Amen. Posterity is baking your retribution in a hot oven. You think your words hold weight. It doesn't. What you just typed is unfortunate. But what is coming for you is just. The only people I pity are the individuals who hold you dear. Pity for you is a waste for supporting the actions of a murderer who gave the nod for the killing of thousands of unharmed people. -Lord |
And while we're still reeling about the Asaba massacre, another massacre just as macabre happened in Kaduna as recently as 2015 and the Nigeria public stayed mute. This time Amnesty International documented it. It has a dedicated Wikipedia page and we all just stayed silent (shout out to the few who voiced their dissent, please don't stop). Life has no worth in Nigeria. Most of us are all killers and murderers in Nigeria, because of our complicity. When the American public noticed the atrocities committed in Vietnam, they reprimanded their government. Made protests. Called the president a baby killer. The people dieing were not even Americans. Here, police kill people daily by accidental discharge, and there's no memorial. No framework to prevent it from happening again, no respite for the victims. Nothing! Everyone throws up the "e no concern me" phrase. Well I have news for you, it's coming for you. N the day it does, someone else will say "e no concern me." N we magically expect people to feel concerned about those who died in respective massacres and progroms across the length and breadth of Nigeria. I snarl when people say God Bless Nigeria. Because God doesn't see Nigeria when he looks at the World Map. He sees a den of monsters. Human skull is sold for less money than a bag of rice. Dead people are called soft targets. People are turned into just numbers. We play politics with human lives. Fathers, mothers, kids, uncles, aunts, and what have you dead, families wiped out, and nothing happens. A house with 7 people in it was burned by a mob because of a blasphemy and nobody was arrested and you said nothing. Yet you go to Church on Sundays, or to Mosque on Fridays, or make offerings to your god in the morning and pray to some God to forgive you your sins. Well, you'd need to pray a lot more, because your silence is killing more people daily. And for those who give reasons or excuses for murders and massacres. Yours is coming and your death will be slow, painful, and excruciating. You too will be another burnt corpse kids walk by when returning from school (like what happened in Lagos during the mile 2 episode). Say God forbid as many times as you want. But the Good book said, he that kill by the sword shall die by the sword. When you give reasons for massacres, you too will be a victim and someone else will give reasons why you were killed. WAR and ARMED CONFLICT is EVIL (and sometimes unavoidable). But UNWANTON, UNPROVOKED killings whether in war or peacetime is repulsive. And if you keep silent and act like it doesn't bother you. You are just as worse as the killers. It's complicity in no uncertain times. Nigeria deserves all the horror it is experiencing and all the horror yet to come. And as long as we sustain our loquacious attitude towards sanctity of life, RIP in advance to the millions of Nigerians yet to meet a gruesome demise. -Lord |
Softmeat:When the time comes, we'd make our decision. The line has not been drawn yet. BTW, that's not what this thread is about. It's not about the SS. It's about the SE. So, that question is irrelevant here. -Lord |
Softmeat:Who are the 'us'? -Lord |
I'm not Igbo, but from the SS. IMHO, and if it counts for something, Igbos should look inwards in 2019. Develop Igboland and forget the center for now. Igboland is not that big, is dense, has the necessary resources and capital. So, the stage is ripe to develop the region, and turn it into an economic behemoth. The SS is getting a $10b fund from Buhari and a negotiation team led by Clark with the US involved, because there is oil in the ground. The SW is a force because of Lagos. If the SE wants to be heard, you guys should set the usual intra-ethnic strife aside for a few years and key into turning the SE around. I've noticed the industrious nature of the Igbos first hand. Just five years--2017 to 2022--and the music will change. -Lord |
Jesusloveyou:Spent N4tr on what? Can you give us a list of what you spent the money on, and we're not seeing the impact. Please add links (sources). Thank you. -Lord |
989900D:Income generating projects/infrastructure are another way to siphon money. Who would give out the contract, who would carry out the contract, who would supervise? Before you invest so much in infrastructure, you first ensure there is accountability. The cankerworms are still in government and even the government is headed by a man who can't see beyond his nose. That is why we have nothing to show for the N11.3T already released. It is exactly why we will have nothing to show after borrowing the N9T. I only sound an alarm when shi* is about to hit the fan. I did it before the election. When Buhari started his selective anti-corruption campaign. When he delayed ministers for 6 months. And during the budget fiasco. It is happening again. We would regret giving this man the opportunity to borrow this much. -Lord |
Sibrah: Sibrah:You can't even remember what you type. No wonder you are able to tell yourself lies so you can sleep well at night. -Lord |
Sibrah:You said oil is trading at $20 pb and you're saying someone else's facts is irrelevant. Yours is so untrue, it is so unbelievable. Oil has never sold for $20 pb since Buhari became President. Current oil price is around the $50 pb price. In fact, the current price is higher than the benchmark of the 2016 budget. I have more hate for Buharists than the man himself. Please tell us what Buhari has used the 11.3T naira he has already received since May 2015 for, then we can start discussing on how he intends to use the additional $30bn loan (minus the $45b earnings we'll make in the next two years). You can't keep throwing money at a cash cow hoping for a turn around. We did the same for Nigeria Airways, Delta Steel, the Refineries, PHCN, what did we get out of it. The APC-led government is like every of those failed establishments. Nothing to show for the mammoth amount of money invested, but the idi.ots in charge are asking for more. Each time promising that the new minted cash would be better used than the previous, while showing zero signs that it would in fact be the case. The best time to be a corrupt politician is now. The competition is lowest ever and the largesse is the highest ever. Yummy! -Lord |
989900D:From all indications, utilization is zero. Jonathan signed the 2015 budget in May 2015, the same month that he left power. The 2015 budget was 4.5 trillion naira. In December 2015, Senate approved 0.57 trillion naira supplementary budget. In total, Buhari received N5T in 2015. In 2016, he has already signed a 6.3T naira budget, and already sent a 1T naira supplementary budget. So, please tell me, how has Buhari UTILIZED N11.3T in 17 months to warrant your blind optimism. I understand how educated people can be so daft. This is the same way you guys trumpeted him as Nigeria's solution when he showed no sign of deserving such support when he did nothing to improve himself in 30 years. Now, he has squandered N11.3T for nothing. Save the N150b monthly wage bill (N2.5T in 17 months) and the less than N400b budgeted for the legislature and judiciary, what did Buhari use N8.4T for? At an average rate of #252/$1 (199 + 305 / 2), N8.4T is $33.3b. If the man could not utilize $33.3b effectively, how do you justify handing him $29.9 in borrowed money. This is besides the at least $45b we would earn in the next two years. You don't fix a broken bucket by leaving the tap open. In fact, the Senate should urgently pursue a bill to fix a fiscal ceiling, else it will be decades before we would be able to recover from the heavy indebtedness. Buhari and his corrupt cohorts are using the recession as an excuse to loot our commonwealth like never before in Nigeria's history, while not even leaving anything tangible. Every PDP administration left something tangible even with the institutionalized looting. By comparison, the APC administration has thrown caution to the wind. It is as if they have the feeling they may not come back, and so they're siphoning money brazenly through all available openings in preparation of 2019. So that even if they fail in 2019, they still have a large payday to take home. And it's working because people like you are too blind to notice sodomy even when the d*** is inside your rectum. All they have to do is distract you with an exciting news story every week, while they keep blasting our commonwealth to the smithereens. I'm sick of this. Because when push comes to shove and the collectors come for the repayment of their loans, you can bet your balls that it'd be subsidy removal (yup there's still subsidy), increase of tax, vat, etc that would be used. They'll probably sell our Nat'l assets too, if they've not auctioned them already by then. And in those days, I hope you'll find the voice to explain to your kids and dependants on how you let a senile, dull retired-general without an SSCE certificate and his band of purposeless thieves do you over, while you concentrated on phantom corruption cases and terrible lies. If you were even part of the people looting the economy or eating the largesse via ricetivism or needless appointments, I wouldn't be as annoyed as I am with you now. At least PDP supporters know the administration stole, but left something. APC renegades don't know they're being f****d, don't want to accept they're being f*****d after someone else shows them the used condom, and will never take a moment to even consider the thought. That's what I call compound foolery. -Lord |
doctokwus:Truth be told, Fashola is doing far better than the other PMB ministers. Maybe not enough, but way better than nothing. A Fashola under GEJ would be better than a Fashola under PMB. That's just the reality. Give Fashola enough money and the room, and we'll get something tangible. The people that have one portfolio like Dalung, how are they performing? Fashola is fit to be a president. If he can't handle three portfolios, then he is over hyped. -Lord |
FreeWorld23:Abeg shift small, make I follow you sitdon. -Lord |
Nsonaso:Change! -Lord |
Full stop. Nothing further. -Lord |
Gunbiz:"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong." The shorter way of saying bad things tend to happen at the worst times. -Lord |
DadojoReloaded:I jor sit down cross leg dey look the market. E go fall. The questions na when and to what extent. -Lord |
Gunbiz:As in eh! Murphy's law comes to mind. -Lord |
AkinPhysicist:Another co.cksucker. Anyway welcome to my harem. Retributionn has been lonely for quite some time. You two can tango and prolly come up with a better theory than this GOODLIFE/FRANCIS Igbo shi.tty theory. -Lord |
macof:Wikipedia is an authority. Citations are required to back whatever is made on the platform. Now, you did not give a link to the vital information on that book. You simply gave an excerpt, meaning you haven't read the book. Give me a snapshot of the specific page that talks about where Oduduwa came from. He certainly did not fall from the sky, so that explanation would not fly. -Lord |
macof:You didn't make points. All of what you wrote were shameless unverified lies. I've already shared a verifiable link (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benin_Empire) on this thread that backs the Bini prince theory of Oduduwa's sojourn to Ife. I ask you to provide a verifiable resource that backs your assertions, and what I receive is an excerpt from a book that does not state how Oduduwa ended in Ife. Give me a verifiable resource or keep shut! Until you do, the available facts show that Oduduwa was a Bini prince. The Binis would not have accepted Ornaminya if he was not the true descendant of the exiled Bini prince, because there's no record of any battle between the Ife and Bini kingdom. Nor would they have accepted Eweka I if he was not the true descendant of Ekaladerhan. These are the proud Bini people we are talking about. They are not like you cowards. -Lord |
MrPresident1:Bring your proof that Yoruba was the official language of the Bini palace until 1939? By proof I mean the quote of a venerated historian, excerpt from a book, or a verifiable online resource. -Lord |
