The most important thing here is the threat. And the threat you're referring to is an irredentist group who have resorted to violence. Even the FBI could do such in a covert operation.

The officers are not saints. From the video, it was clear they threatened the driver, causing him to overreact.

The driver flared up, and the officers, fearing he was the son or relative of a "big man" (since he was threatening the officer with losing his job), stopped the threats and assault while one of them whipped out a phone and started making a video as evidence.

The guy messed up by touching the officer even after realizing he was already on video. Now, a beast is been celebrated as a hero while the prey will be sent to prison.

By the way, it's kind of interesting to see the police quickly arrest a civilian for "attacking" an officer while they never find officers responsible for killing civilians.

Even if your narratives were true, the driver proved to be an idiot. If not he should know there will be no hiding place for someone who assaults a police officer on duty. In the US or Uk he would be a dead man by now.

The reason for their being described in this way is that they all share the same beliefs, work towards the same goals, and share the same code of behavior.

Islam teaches that all mankind is but one family, as such all man and women are brothers and sisters. This verse also clarifies that the criteria for judgment in the eyes of Allah do not depend on caste, color, profession, gender or wealth, but on Taqwa, piety, and righteousness. Anyone who is righteous and pious is honored in the eyes of Allah.

Allah said in another verse of Holy Quran: “Hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. Remember the favor of Allah upon you, when you were enemies and he brought your hearts together and you became brothers by his favor.” (Quran, 3:103). This verse clearly states that we should stay united as Allah commanded in Quran because He made us brothers by creating love in our hearts.

The level of brotherhood involves purifying the heart of all enmity, hatred, and grudge for those who have faith, including for the righteous predecessors of Islam, those who believed in the previous prophets, and the general masses of believers throughout all of history. Allah says in Quran: “They say: Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts any resentment toward those who have faith. Our Lord, you are kind and merciful.” (Quran, 59:10).

The makeup of the political structure in Lagos is quite different and distinct from that of Edo state. But in Lagos, Ambode knew he was a nobody in the power equation yet he became a governor against other powerful candidates within the party. He was even foolish to have turned down the offer of a ministerial appointment or a seat at the Senate, rather he chose a chance to test a popularity he never had.

Ambode should be left alone in peace. The man was no coward, his celebrated defeat was a result of bad advise and false hope from people who couldn't save him when it mattered. He did his best to the best if his ability. If I were him I would retrace my steps to my benefactor who saved him from retirement to make him a governor.
