That was why I started by saying you made very valid points. Its rather ridiculous that a political party is making such statements that should come directly from the office of the president of the federal republic. Its the more reason we have a long way to go when it comes to democratic governance and growth. In other nations what you would find is political parties making arguments over policies or legislation's that affect the entire nation rather than sitting back and waiting for errors so they can point fingers like we do in Nigeria.

It's perfectly normal for people to rant on social media, that's just the new way of life so I don't really see anything wrong if people choose to express how they feel on social media.

Its funny you mentioned rallies, I didn't know it had come down to that. Now that's just plain silly, even those protesting in the US are being ridiculous and I wouldn't blame them, even the UK had some people protesting after the Brexit referendum. It's just normal to feel totally disappointed especially when the media and public opinion tend to be on the losing side at the end of the day. The elections have come and gone, no need to cry over spilled milk. However so many lessons to be learned from this US election.

Meanwhile most African countries are probably concerned if the President-elect would toll the path of his predecessors with regards to giving foreign aid. So much to expect and look forward to in the coming year with major changes in the global economic atmosphere.

Valid points you made above but your last paragraph is not largely true. The whole world cares who the next President of the United States is. There have been mixed reactions/congratulatory messages from leaders around the world from the Indian PM, German PM, British PM, Russian president etc.

Trump has always advocated for new trade deals which might not entirely be favorable to the EU and also is in complete opposition to Obama's initial idea of negotiating with the EU as a bigger block and the Uk being at the back of that queue. So in essence the Uk has a better chance to negotiate a better trade deal with the US and probably speed up the brexit negotiations also. He also wants new tariffs to slow down importation from the EU which would haul economic growth in the EU and effectively globally.

Meanwhile the Mexican peso has dropped to it's lowest in the last 20years due to Trumps win and his supposed policies. Stock exchange has also experienced an increase in the price of Gold as investors are moving from dollars although bouced back just after his conciliatory speech.

Also even with the current recession in Nigeria, the drop in the demand of crude oil from the US and drop in the price of crude oil in the international market. They still remain the third largest export destination for crude oil from Nigeria, while Brazil and India top. So in other words they in many ways indirectly affect the economy of Nigeria and many other nations.

Plus there are a whole lot of other issues.

if learning to improve yourself and make you better means you are fake, then i am still wondering why you are sent to school. changing through learning only means you are improving yourself and most likely going beyond her standards. once it is clear that you are much better than her, then you surely have an upper hand
