Imagine NTA and AIT using Euronews,BBC and other international station to show neighbouring countries BENIN,TOGO and congo
they even had a celebration for broadcasting live from liberia during the inauguration shocked

my2cents* this doesnt really settle it  grin

I know a lot of Nigerians that are really finding things hard here mainly because they came in through visiting visa and have no papers to work.  Unless you have papers to work, it is not worth coming.
i think that should apply to both countries  grin, there are tons of jobs in the UK ,there are truck loads of polish, slovakian*, and other EU citizens coming in every hour at victoria station. Within 1 week they are working usually before they even apply for the N.I and trust me they work like horses they never get tired

funny enough £1 is like 50 to their currency getting the minimun wage is like gold to them and £1 is like N250 but most people are never satisfied even with dodgy immigration status

What we still don't understand about Hizbollah

This week, world terrorism expert Robert Pape will share with the FBI the findings of his remarkable study of 462 suicide bombings. He concludes that such acts have little to do with religious extremism and that the West must engage politically to halt the relentless slaughter

Sunday August 6, 2006
The Observer

Israel has finally conceded that air power alone will not defeat Hizbollah. Over the coming weeks, it will learn that ground power won't work either. The problem is not that the Israelis have insufficient military might, but that they misunderstand the nature of the enemy.

Previous analyses of suicide terrorism have not had the benefit of a complete survey of all suicide terrorist attacks worldwide. The lack of complete data, together with the fact that many such attacks, including all those against Americans, have been committed by Muslims, has led many in the US to assume that Islamic fundamentalism must be the underlying main cause. This, in turn, has fuelled a belief that anti-American terrorism can be stopped only by wholesale transformation of Muslim societies, which helped create public support of the invasion of Iraq. But study of the phenomenon of suicide terrorism shows that the presumed connection to Islamic fundamentalism is misleading.

There is not the close connection between suicide terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism that many people think. Rather, what nearly all suicide terrorist campaigns have in common is a specific secular and strategic goal: to compel democracies to withdraw military forces from territory that the terrorists consider to be their homeland.

Religion is rarely the root cause, although it is often used as a tool by terrorist organisations in recruiting and in other efforts in service of the broader strategic objective. Most often, it is a response to foreign occupation.

Foreign AffairsRe: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by LoverBwoy(m): 10:05pm On Aug 08, 2006
the fighting continue

each side want to destroy as much as possible before they come to a temporary agreement

I don't think Israel will pull out of those peoples country totally apparently they want to be there with UN forces "monitoring the border area" (controlling) just like they they are controlling borders and ports of the palestine people, they say who goes out or into the country, they control what products they import or export hmmm nice  undecided

they want the power to blow up building they think might be used by terrorist e.g ambulances, hospitals, civilian'shomes,bridges,TV/radio stations and in some cases U.N buildings

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: FG Bans DSTV From Airing English Premiership by LoverBwoy(m): 8:42pm On Aug 08, 2006
lol the Fg have done something they should have done years ago, good !
However they dont have plan B, those nigerian companies that pressuredt he Fg to do its job should now come out and do something for the population

this is half baked. . . now they have "destroyed the monopoly" what next

I think the problem is not even with DSTV but with EPL licensing department, so instead of the FG to deal directly with the EPL management they chickened out to face DSTV grin

to me its like

EPL: we have for sale exclusive right to broadcast EPL in region 8 (which includes nigeria)
nigeria companies: im busy trying to sought out nepa i dnt have money for epl, i will get it cheap from whoever buys it grin
DSTV: went to the banks got some cash. we'll can control this shizzle for ages!!
