Dear friend this issue is not as simply as you make it sound. ChelseaFC are going out of their way to discredit a Professional Player because he dared challenge "THE ANOINTED TRINITY AND THE FAMILY!?"

Right now Chelsea are gradually sinking into battles on so many fronts, and i trully believe it will eventually take its pound of flesh.

B, troubles btw Chelsea/FIFA and French Football Ass
C, what does Chelsea/Barca 3 have in store for us??
D, the Gallas/ cole saga still hasn't rolled to a stop, expect more fireworks, esp if Cole gets the ok to release his book
E, Maureen's new found eninimity with Benitez and renewal of hatred with Le Prof

And the list goes on.

So you see, this season is not going to be easy for Chelsea FC, and i ain't refering to football!!

Every one has always known that Chelsea was a club with no class, if you have ever lived in England or have been following british football before the Prem came into existence, you would have no qualms with this statement cause it is an open secret that Chelsea were always one of the most thuggishs Football clubs there was in the southern region of England (however the real honours went to Wimbledon FC ). Their fans were well known as hooligans and players like Dennis Wise and Gavin Peacock epitomised that Rouge image (even though i could say this was as a result of the height of these players, even John Spencer was short ).

Former owner/chairman Ken Bates was even worst, however towards the latter parts of his Chairmanship he brought a certain bit of class to the Chelsea outfit with players like Gullit, Vialli, Zola and co turning Chelsea into the "beautiful team", which they had the priviledge of being called pre Wenger's Arsenal.

Now the coming of the Trinity "Roman/Jose/Peter" has undone all that work and have turned Chelsea into the seige mentality club extraordina!!, even Sir Alex in all his years could not have predicted that there would be a club which everyone in England would hated far worst than Manchester United!! however its Sir Alex (and Jackal) we have to thank for giving us Peter Kenyon , he only took what he learnt at United to Chelski, as they say "Bring a child up in the ways of United, and he will never depart from it!? better yet he will improve on what he has learnt".

Now Chelsea is becoming more like the Mafia . whats all this bulls@#t reference on "the Family!?" I for one had always on Arsenal Forums questioned Le Prof turning the Arsenal team into the French Cabal, which ultimately alienated the english players and to a large extent the english football supporters from totally identifying with Arsenal FC as their own , but i must say Chelsea not only take the biscuit, but the whole F@#king bakery!?

Anytime i see Jackal's name near an Arsenal thread i get Worried,

I know i have already said this so many times, but let me repeat myself just for emphasis sake. BLOODY NORA!! THE LEAGUE IS JUST 3 WEEKS OLD, AND EVERYONE IS ALREADY GETTING AN ORGASM OVER WHO IS GOING TO WIN AND WHO IS GOING TO STRUGGLE!!

Pompey are second on the table!? really shows how the league will finish hey! Jackal when was the last time that Man U never won their first three games, or the question should be, does winning your first three games now determine who wins the league.

Besides, cross the spurs bridge first before talking about playing Arsenal.

The league is a maraton, and as you know running a maraton like a 100 metres dash is only recipe for failure

Anyway every one should just calm down oh!! the league starts properly Dec/Jan and i predict this years will be the closes we have ever seen, as every team now has the potential to beat anyone else, (which has not been seen for a very long time).

So come back with this thread in dec, then i can tell you whether Arsenal can compete or not, deciding that now, is just premature as we have only played two games FFS.

Let me start by saying that i have no problem with self evaluation, sometimes airing your mind helps relieve stress and makes the head clearer. Having said that i do feel we are all going a bit overboard.

Now if you have been supporting Arsenal for a long time, believe me you will see that we are in the best phase in the History of the club, New Stadia and all.

There was an article i read where it was suggested that Le Prof was building a third generation team, after his first two great teams. The Problem for us Gonners is the fact that we have been spoilt by our own football, that we are now less patient with the team and the Boss. But let us look at the bigger picture here, Man U since Fergie took over 20 years ago have been indoctrinated to play the "siege Mentality way" thats why Fergie will always go for particular kinds of players a la Keano, Smithy, Rooney, Saha, Henize and so on. And as long as Fergie is in charge, MU will always play that way. and any Man U supporter knows this.

The same way Jose has changed the way Chelsea play, from the Beautiful football of Gullit/vialli era to pragmatic footie of the Fabio Capello school of Hard Knocks.

With this in mind, every Gonner should not hold their breath that Arsenal will play any different way, even with 4 5 1 in CL we still tried to out pass teams, thats the way the team plays and will always play as long as AW is in charge. Does that win us tropies, at present the chances are slim, but if you believe that this Arsenal team will not win any major silverware in the next three or so years, then you do not have trust in your team. (Guys thats what is called a covenant, You probable joined Arsenal because of the type of Footie we play, so ride out the storm, cause there is always a calm, thats what the team deserves and thats what Le Prof deserves, with all he has done for the club)

All the young players are growing, and AW is tinkering with a few players here and there to get the perfect formular for success (look!! AW wanted Baptista last year, didn't get him then, but look at what patience can do, isn't Bap coming over ). So debs just have faith in your team, no Gonner loves to lose and sometimes this whole transition thingy is quite gut wrenching , but it only makes the hope of future success far sweeter , ( i mean imagine, our worst season in the Prem since Wenger became the gaffer, and we get to the finals of the CL, isn't that so ironic and Bloody humourous!? )

So COMEON YOU NAIRALAND GONNERS KEEP YOUR HEADS UP AND SUPPORT THE TRUE RED ARMY, cause losings some battles are painful, but in the long run winning the war will be sweet.

Hello ladies and Gents, Gonners and anti gonners, how are things hanging?

Well inspite of myself i have decided not to say much about the season than to ask, are we in December/January yet, cause for me thats when the season starts not after 3 games, i mean Pompey are third on the league for Christ sakes!!! , and when last did Man U not win their first three games in the Prem? Does that determine the end, F@$K NO!!! So everyone should just relax with the Doomday senarios until when teams are faced with the Prem and the CL/UEFA CUP, the Carling Cup and the F.A. Cup, then we will see whose up for the fight or not, definately not after 3 games

On the tranfer saga or lack of it, all i will say is "THANK GOD THE WHOLE S@#T ENDS TODAY!! ENOUGH WITH THE RUMOURS ALREADY!!" So basically from tomorrow all Gonners should please chill with all the He should have bought this and that, and just get behind the squad. Now is the time to be discussing tactics and who should play and why, but more importantly win or lose, SUPPORT THE BOYS!!

What is your problem

PORTO won the UCL does that mean the portugese league is any better than Sunday School Footie!! Monaco was in that final and Lyon have been Dark Horses for a while now, does that make the Ligue1 a brilliant league.

Liverpool won 2 years ago and Arsenal got to the final, expect an english team in the Final this year (quote me on this at the end of the season!!). Liverpool has won a few UCL trophies 5 in all and 3 UEFA cups, so what the Hell are you talking about!?

Lets see yes people can say that Brazil is the best footballing nation in the world, not because of the trophies they have won, but due to them having the highest number of Professional footballers scattered all over the world, even playing in different nationals teams, Deco for Portugal, Dos santos for Tunisa, Alex for Japan, Senna for Spain and the bloddy list goes on. Anyway i really do not see the sense in this analogy, like i keep repeating, we are not talking about National Teams but about Football Leagues. what does the Brazilian national team have to do with the EPL being the most popular league in the World notice i didn't say the most tactical, skillful or technical football league but once again as a WHOLE PACKAGE IT IS THE BEST!! WHAT IS IT THAT YOU ARE FAILING TO UNDERSTAND IN THAT STATEMENT!?

You all should enjoy yourselves with your arguements, does it stop what is obvious. NO, so i really do not see the need to cross swords with you. The EPL as a whole Package is seen (whether you chose to believe it or not, will never be an issue!!) as the Best League in the world.

It is watched by more viewers than any other league, it pulls in more money than any other league, it has the riches club in the world, it has the most expensively assembled group of players in one club, it has a team filled with a group of young players that might produce a future world footballer of the year (Cesc Fab), it produced the most amount of players to this years world cup. Every team is known by everyone, from the best teams to the bottom clubs.

It is the main feature of any satelite and cable provider, both in Europe, Africa and Asia,. So Spain might be more of a flair league with beautiful technical play, The Bundesliga might be well organised like a well oiled machine, the Serie A might be full of Grit and tactics. BUT AS A WHOLE PACKAGE THE EPL IS CONSIDERED THE BEST LEAGUE. (Whether that changes in the future, we all have to wait and see).

All your analysis might be useful as an academic research paper, but we all know, Academic realities are quite different from World realities. Sadly my friends that is the truth of the matter. So talk all you want about CL winners and FIFA World Footballers of the year, that will not change a fact, as sad as that might sound, "Life's a bitch!!

Do you watch football, when did Gilberto silva become a left back to compete with R Carlos, Do you actually know who Gilberto Silva is?. Some times when i read the posts and statements from some of the members of this forum, i just weep , literaly , but hey its a free world and everyone is entitled to their opinions. Just a few points, i beg you all bare with me.

1. No brazilian has played in the Prem and secured a shirt, oh well i guess Edu, Gilberto, Juhinho were not and never commanded regular shirts in the Brazilian teams, i mean that wasn't Gilberto silva at the World Cup was it, i mean he must not be a really good player.
