I know you all might be sick and tired of this particular thread (see the link below), but i told Mr. Kit/Miss Muki that i was somewhat preplexed and suspisious and Miss Muki was kind enough to refer me back to this thread by Oga Kola, which i wasn't aware of. So i decided to give my take on the matter, as i am now convinced of what i had always suspected, "JACKAL AND HUC ARE THE SAME PERSON"

Please read my first post and come back if you feel you are righteous and acknowledge, please Did i or did i not say your post was ok!? I reacted to this thread because of Huc's statement, and even put forward my reservations to Oga Akola, but he came on and reminded me that this thread was old and that Mr. kit brought it up again. You say i am biased, well Jackal we all are, so stop trying to act all high and mighty, i have criticised Wenger before on this Forum (if you are also able to check the BBC 606 forum/Arsenal-Mania Forums and find posts by loyika, you will see evidence of my criticism of "Le Prof" Have i criticisied Jose on Nairaland? YES but i have also Acknowledged his achievements, the same goes for Sir Alex. But you see my main issue with you , if you had just made your first post about Wenger! only on "Wenger" and not decided to go on a Fergie trip, BELIEVE ME I WOULD HAVE NOT SAID ANYTHING (Even if i did i would have even supported your arguements/ as i said on the other forums i have mentioned for evidence, as i have been slaugthered by other Gooners over my opinions concerning the lack of English players at arsenal)

But what you do is, use a sly manner to say some nasty things about Wenger and praise Sir Alex (which i don't think as you say Oga Kola intended this thread to be about!!), now i am the one making a mountain out of a mole hill , i am the one ranting , You make me laugh!! And being in nigeria has nothing to do with the objectivity or otherwise of an opinion (i have lived in England for 10 years and came back home to settle down and work in my country after my studies).

So jackal, since you are now claiming the righteous path, we are all watching, let me see if you will come out and support Wenger on any thread that is insulting on his character, or even support him in any way when the issue has to do with Sir Alex (like i said maybe you have done that in the past, i wouldn't know?) then i will doff my hat to you as being objective, for now you are just you "A BIG JOKE TO MAKE MY DAY " (i will leave that to your imagination).

No one is saying Fergie has not contributed to the English game. All coaches have in one way or the other, Picking on Arsene, is not only insulting, it stinks. Cause we are human and can only claim to have, what really is a biased view over issues, even when we try to be objective. What i wanted to make clear to Jackal/Huc is the fact that there are others that believe that Sir Alex with his tactics hinder Englands performance (Believe me, Sven almost made everyone believe that Sir Alex did not have England at heart over the Wanye Rooney issue, and it almost worked, if not for the fact that the media chose to focus on the inadequacies of sven, who the blame was put fairly on)

Do we say that their view points are wrong, you forget dear, as much as english people grudgingly admire Sir Alex, they also remember that he is a Scot. That is why he would never get the backing of many English folks of ever being England's manager, despite being the most successful club manager in England. (the same way some people screamed blue murder, over Wenger being considered for the job, because he is french)

Thats a fact of life, so although you have people who like Jackal, believe that Sir Alex has done alot, you have others who believe he has done Sweet FA, whether you chose to believe them or not, is your concern, as you (and we all do), have your own biases which affect your judgement/stance on any issue. Case in point; i would believe you support Man United, well Man United supporters will back Sir Alex over the Wanye Rooney issue, but other supporters will believe, its typical Fergie tactics, and will hate him for it. You see what i mean.

So Please this onesided arguement over Wenger is the same, Many Arsenal Supporters do not care if fishs played for the club, let alone english men, are we right in our support for the gaffer's stance, well depending on what side of the fence you are siting will determine your answer. Thats all i am saying!!.

Now Huc/Jackal, notice how Gary Dennes also critisicies Wenger as well, (for all points that jackal puts up in his post), but now here is where objectivity comes in, Jackal then decided to go on a rant on how Fergie has been great for the english game, yes he has groomed english players, but he also has a tradition of not wanting them to fulfil their obligation (case in point, the wanye rooney broken foot debacle prior to the world cup). So as all Nairaland sports forum members can see. there are other views on issues, that show maturity and some form of objectivity.

We might not agree with them, and we do not need to, but at least we know that Huc and Jackal like to trip on some egoistic power trip, that they know more than other members of the forum, Well we all are learning here, so if two or should that be one person feels he knows everything, and obviously shows a clear bias for his club (which is allowed), then covers it up as being objective, well that is wrong and insulting. But i guess they won't change .

It was an open secret that the English FA considered Wenger as one of the candidates for the English managers job, but he declined, while others felt David Dien, used his position as a member of both the Arsenal board and the FA to prevent Wenger from being interviewed (Boro's chairman threw a real fit, over the incident, esp considering steve mclaren boro's manager at that time, was hotly tipped for/got the job)

This issue and article was like 4 months ago, last season, why you chose to bring it up now, only you and God can tell, @huc/jackal, since you both claim to be intelligent, i would expect you to have pointed that out to him, but like always anything to do with Arsenal and Wenger, is another excuse to throw mud and insults.

This is the same Arsene Wenger that the English wanted as their National team coach and Real madrid wanted to take away from Arsenal. But anyway telling you all this is simply a waste of time and space, as you see everything that Wenger does as useless. And Fergie is a saint.

4 Wenger settling on his starting 11 for every game (he still has no idea who his starting 11 are ) we should have a balanced team, with or without injuries being taken account of.

We are good in all other departments and despite the Porto game coming up, we have a slightly easy fixture (Man United was a big test which we passed)

if we win on saturday, we can go on a run, until we play Bolton, which is another bogey team, we don't play pool or Chelski ti Nov/Dec, if we can go on a good run we are fine.

Its not about dropping stats, TH14 is considered a better all round striker and player than Ruud, All the stats you put up(which i know of by the way!!) do not amount to much as far as making Ruud any better or far more popular in the Footballing worlds eye, Ok the in Pele's top 125 was ruud considered higher, or was that list not based on rankings according to Pele.

Yes the FA do give titles for an Unbeaten season Mr (Huctelligent) Propaganda, its called the FA Premiership title, which we won. We have gotten to 2 finals, the CL and Uefa Cup, and even though we didn't win, with time we will win the CL (hopefully this year).

Sir Alex is a great Manager his personal record as a coach is better than AW, i will never because of personal bias, not recognise his achievements, (since you did not care to look at my statement, that said Man U's treble was well deserved!!) Let me rephrase my statement, Sir Alex 8 titles in 14 yrs in the prem (the End!! believe that!), Le Prof 3 titles (and counting) in 10yrs, Jose 2 (and counting) in 2 yrs. We will see at the end of their various careers who will win the most prem titles.

What i will say to you is, "you have only shown your true colours by your behaviour. Sir Alex has been manager at Man U for how long; 20 BLOODY YEARS and has won 8 Prem titles

AW has been manager at Arsenal for 10 years and has won 3

Jose M has been manager for 2 years and has won 2

so an intelligent person can decipher that if AW and Jose stay in charge of their clubs for as long as Sir Alex has been in Man U they will either equal or surpass the title haulage of Man U. your only claim to fame is the treble (which i am sure no one will be able to do again ) but we have our 38 games unbeaten in the league title , Chelsea has the highest points gotten from the league (i think ) and the lowest conceded goals ratio. Anyways all these are statistics. If you are making noise about the CL, WELL HUCCY LIVERPOOL HAVE WON 5 MATIE .  So the only thing you mancs can hold on to is your treble (well deserved).

We got to the finals of the CL and believe me either Le Prof or Jose will win the CL with their clubs (jose already has with Porto, oh!! did they not beat you guys on the way for good measures )

You are on the same points as Chelsea, and Pompey is ahead of you, we have a game in hand, and like i said, Reading is the easiest game you have for the next 5 fixtures, so don't expect to be where you are for long!! Man U are in decline, and everyone except the Mancs know this. 4 wins at the begining of the season is decieving you all that you are title contenders, well all i have to say is; we are better building from bottom to top, while you will fall from top to bottom, you have no squad, and by the time injuries play its part, you will have to rely on your reserves, or pray January comes quickly to buy players.

I will wait a while before i say anything in terms of my analysis of sundays game, why arsenal won and why United lost at HOME.

But i would just like to say something to Mr. Huc!! please i know its difficult for you, but just try and be gracious in defeat, all this halabulo about United playing well carries no weight, DID ARSENAL NOT PLAY BETTER THAN BORO, ASTON VILLA, AND MAN CITY!? but we came out with only 2 points from those games. So you really have no point.

Are you not expected to play well at home , thats why even if i do no like him (because of the rivalry we had when he was a United Player) i will always respect Roy Keane.

Playing well does not really mean shit if you do not get the three points, (we should know, cause most times we murder some teams on the pitch and leave with nothing)

I remember either you or jackal saying that Sir Alex will never let Wenger come to OT and get a win, well Huccy we just did, even if you come to the emirates and win, makes no difference to me. what i look at is my team getting some consistency and plotting how we can get pompey of the top of the table, I REPEAT THE LEAGUE IS A MARATHON, AND WINNING SOME BATTLES DO NOT MEAN YOU WILL WIN THE WAR, we have won one battle (and what a battle it was!) we need to win some more, and ride on to the xmas fixtures where the real meat of the league starts.

ROY KEANE has blasted Wayne Rooney and insists “the jury is still out” on whether the England star will be a top player.

In an explosive interview, former Manchester United skipper Keane reveals just seven of his recent Old Trafford team-mates have his mobile number — and Roo is not one of them.

The new Sunderland boss also:

Sticks the boot in on strike star Michael Owen.
Says Alex Ferguson and Co should have known better over his concerns voiced in the infamous MUTV rant.
Told Patrick Vieira ‘Why don’t you ****ing play for Senegal?’
In an interview to be published in The Sunday Times Magazine tomorrow, Irishman Keane, 35, even pokes fun at the England WAGS.

But most amazing of all is Keane’s assessment of United golden boy Rooney.

Keane said: “For me, the jury’s still out on Wayne. I think he’s got a hell of a lot to do.

“Wayne has achieved nothing — and would probably say that himself.

“I would judge players over a few years rather than one or two.

“He’s got potential, like I’ve got potential to be a good manager.

“Potential is one thing, doing it is another.”

Keane then admits Rooney has not even got his mobile number. The only United players who have — some have now moved on — are Ruud van Nistelrooy, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Gary Neville, Nicky Butt, John O’Shea, Quinton Fortune and Ryan Giggs.

When joining Celtic, Keane said he gave only two of the players his number as he did not want to be annoyed by their banter.

While Keane is full of praise for the way ex-England captain David Beckham leads his life, he is less complimentary about Owen.

He said: “There’s loads of people who get sucked in. Michael Owen always springs to mind.

“The day after Owen broke his foot, he’s doing an article and I’m thinking, ‘Work on your recovery, man’.”

Discussing his relationship with Fergie, Keane says he “doesn’t have a clue” where they stand following their bitter bust-up. But he says they have respect for each other, although he also stresses there is no affection between them.

Keane clearly has no time for United No 2 Carlos Queiroz.

After accusing Keane of being disloyal over the MUTV outburst, the Irishman hit back at Portuguese coach Queiroz — saying he ran off to coach Real Madrid and returned only when everything went pear-shaped in Spain.

Keano also reckons Ferguson should have known better than to become embroiled in a row over his TV interview after United’s 4-1 hammering against Middlesbrough.

Keane said: “I was seeing players doing stuff off the pitch — had the feeling it was affecting them — and it came to a head with that defeat.

“Yes, I nailed certain people. I took the publicity with a pinch of salt, senior figures at the club should’ve done the same.

“Everyone got sucked into it, when they should have known better. I think, in the end, the manager was swayed by certain people he works with.”

Keane explained his volley at former Arsenal skipper Vieira and said: “He was bragging about all the things he had done in Senegal.


“I said to him, ‘If you’re so worried about Senegal, why didn’t you ****ing play for them’?”

His dislike even extends to the England WAGS at the World Cup. Keane could not understand why on earth they wanted to be pictured going out for meals in Baden-Baden.

And he added: “They were annoying me and they’re not even my wife!”

Now Keane is fully focused on the job to be done at Sunderland and insists he wants the Stadium of Light to be rocking for his first home match in charge — against Leicester this afternoon.

He said: “We are hoping to get well over 30,000, which would be fantastic and the fans have a massive part to play.

“It’s a challenge for us because all the expectations will be on us to win the game but that’s something we should enjoy and be looking forward to. I got a taste of what it’s like here against West Brom — but I was in the stands then and this time I will be more hands-on.

“I’m enjoying the management game because I look at the players and I think we have half a chance of doing something here — we are making sure we are 100 per cent prepared.

“If the fans are now coming along expecting us to win rather than lose that’s fantastic but we have to earn the right to win these games.

“I still get adrenaline. It’s still there but it’s a different type of reaction. Every team we play against will be different but I have a team of hungry players.”
