Where are the thousands of citizens going through this ordeal on a daily basis? its funny how we suffer in silence in Nigeria. Are we saying that there are no Nairalanders numbering up to 200 using that road? why are they not commenting on this thread?. this is our forum where we can vent and be heard. Please lets comment more so that this can make front page so we can get the desired attention from the authorities. |
I joined many people who made passionate appeals to the honourable commissioner for transport to ensure that the opening at go ye junction be left open permanently as commuters experienced great relief from traffic congestion when it was opened. The only snag in the whole arrangement was that there were failed portions on that axis which were not attended to thereby ihibiting free flow of traffic towards iyana ipaja. Mending the failed portions was the solution to the daily heavy traffic gridlock on the road with the opening helping to decongest iyana dopemu whose traffic has assumed a constant 'k' status. But ferma or the state government thought otherwise. Well, my advice for the government of the day is to try as much as possible to constantly feel the pulse of the people (especially the masses who constitute the voting majority) to ensure that their basic needs are met especially when we are approaching an election year. We are waiting for them. |
This was photoshopped. she's bigger than this, look at the waist line. fake fake fake! |
kirikiristars:Ayobo Ipaja Shibiri Ijegun Ejigbo Igando All the above areas of Lagos have no good roads. In fact some of them still use wooden bridges built by individuals for commercial purposes. This government is simply too elitist. |
Orial:Now this description is epic! Lets get more guys |
My own definition of a Nigerian big boy is a guy who has a steady source or sources of income, who can feed his family, has extra to spare for the needy and is able to afford basic neccessities of life such as a self built house and a clean ride. Whats your own definition? |
Lesbo...... first to comment sha |
Why is it that one finds used 2004/05 Honda EODs on almost all of Nairaland Auto page? Is there something wrong with this car that we need to be aware of? You see captions like 6months used, one year used, hardly used, etc. |
This must be the handwork of one of those azz crazy guys whose eyes almost leave their sockets at the sight of a big, well rounded, soft and shaky backside(myself included). They must have given her an ultimatum to grow it or else..... may God have mercy on us ![]() |
Lets get our responses in. I tried hard not to use my horn this morning but the danfo buses made me use it thrice. Hmmmm so difficult. |
Please Nairalanders , i need to alert FERMA( Federal Road Maintenance Agency ) in Lagos about the poor/failed state of federal roads in Lagos. Specific failed portions requiring very urgent attention include: Lagos- Abeokuta Expressway with emphasis on Cement Bus stop, Iyana Dopemu, Go Ye Road Junction, Iyana Ipaja Stretch, Ilekpo, super, Abule Egba, Alagbado, Ahmadiyya, Alakuko as well as Ajegunle Bus Stop. People living in these axis have been suffering daily in traffic gridlock for months as a result of these bad portions resulting in man hour loss, exhaustion and frequent vehicle breakdowns. Moderators we crave your indulgence to please move this topic to the front page to enable us get the attention of FERMA. Nairalanders on this axis, please say something also. |
Tick tock keshi its time to get sacked for those ears of yours that have been obviously idle. |
Guys, have you noticed some lady in the company of some other man starring brazenly at you not minding the fact that she's with a man? You see them in traffic, malls, restaurants, schools, church, pub, hospitals etc. Babes, what goes on in your mind when you stare? NB: I'm good looking though ![]() |
You are all wrong. the other man is Comrade Rex. he is Asari's right hand man. |
@op, re you going to Judge the performance of the governor with only projects in Benin city? is he governor of Benin city or Edo State? i must state here that your views are very myopic and not well thought through. Have you cared to find out about hundreds of communities across all senatorial districts of the state who have benefited from the massive road projects carried out by the governor. Please go and find out and come back to this thread. Make your views as broad as possible. |
This is the sad reality we found ourselves in our own country. impunity is common place and the masses always on the receiving end. May God help us. |
Happy Birthday to a living legend |
And where is the pinshure of the 200 soldiers? |
Ramnon2: That explains why he was shot in the buttocks. He had his back to his attackers. Like father like son: cowards“For instance, he went to inspect Colonel Iluyomade, but when he got there, there was shooting. He quickly got into his jeep and ran away. “He was shot in the buttocks while running. A general will be shot in the chest, and not in the buttocks,” said the army general, who is set to launch a book titled The Tragedy of Victory: On-The-Spot Account of The Nigeria-Biafra War In The Atlantic Theatre, his own version of the war experience aimed to counter some of the ‘lies’ by Chief Obasanjo- RTD Gen Alabi Isama |
Keshi is too petty. His ego can be likened to the size of the sambisa forest. His ability to effectively manage the different personalities within the team tells clearly if he is a good or bad coach. So far, in my opinion, he is a bad manager and should improve on his people skills. |
Was she planted on London? why didn't she move in with her husband in Nigeria, SA or wherever it is he was residing. A wise woman builds her home so the bible says. They got it wrong from when they decided to live apart by accident or by design. |
Wish it was from China.they would have made it as common and cheap as paracetamol ![]() |
onetouch7: it's Yoruba English." ejo e no fe koja " literally means 'sorry I want to pass'.And some ladies will say it with phonetics as if it were correct English |
Now, what achievements is Ochendo always blabbing about when he cannot fix an important city like Aba?. What better legacy to leave than fix Aba since he always never stops talking about legacy projects.... |
Whats wordly & whats heavenly dance steps? you may as well say that David's dancing and stripping of his clothes was worldly. Hypocrisy will kill us in Africa. |
If you live in the western parts of Nigeria, you may have noticed people say to you, sorry just to have you give way for them to pass by. it is so generally used that sometimes i stop to ponder if the word sorry is now the correct replacement 'for excuse me'. Am i the only one noticing this? is it right to use the word sorry in this context? |
AUCHI FUGAR |
I thought they said its incurable, how come we now see people recovering? what medication are they administering? |
Eye service |
This is the man to beat. As long as he can prove that he.is not ELITIST like........ |
Why are we loosing our great minds? The voices of the voiceless ,the hope of the common man. This man has impacted my life a great deal even though i have not met him. Rest in Gods bossom in the assurance that you have played.your role in life very well. |
ZeGull: That is not the gist but the pronouncement that he is not contesting following the current impeachment move by a section of the State House Assembly. The Governor does not need the president or any other person to keep his job; He only needs the people who voted massively to elect him. So far, i'm not aware that he has fallen out of favour with the people, who collectively refer to him as a performer. |
