This election re-affirms what has always be true in Nigeria politics though it has not ended. Tribal interest matters(In the case of America... Racial interest matters)

When it comes to leadership, Trump is incompetent but the White majority and the Hispanics who are White passing felt threatened by the growing population of minority. So they will rather vote for Trump than for someone who is more competent.

Nigeria still has along way to go but these so called first World country ain't so much better.

BastardWike:
Trash for the garbage!

Women are now being flogged in the streets of Ibadan for their choice of clothing by the Nigerian soldiers.

Your men are now being barbed in the streets of Ibadan by Nigerian soldiers.

Your men are now forced to swim in the mud in Oshogbo by Nigerian soldiers, yet you are waiting for Igbos to save you from your masters? No, you will enjoy your slavery and mind you, Nigeria is not breaking anytime soon. If you want it to break, go and invite your Amotekun miscreants to start fighting like Boko Haram.
Why all this emotional rant na?

It's now a crime to say what I'm seeing.

There are many young leaders around the world and their countries are not at war.
I still don't trust Nigeria Youths. With what I'm seeing so far, I've not seen the one that's responsible.

They are ignorant of history. They are ignorant of politics. Above all they are ignorant about the role of security agencies to this country.

I simply don't trust the Youths. Any Youth that has not trained a child to the tertiary level should not be charge to head the affairs of the country.

They will simply lead us to war.
Politics › Re: What Wike Should Have Done?? by luvmijeje(f): 4:19am On Nov 03, 2020
Wike did the right thing. If Wike have failed to move, River State in general would have been attack by the security operatives.

The Security operatives would have assume the Governor was the one who enable them.

It is the the reason security officers refused to go back to the street of Lagos. They all saw Sowoolu supporting the #Endsars protesters.

IPOB has already metamorphosed. This one that I'm seeing is worse that Boko Haram. I will tell you 10 reasons why.

1. It is holding a whole region at a gun point.
2. It's holding a National Opposition party at a gun point.
3. It is holding the South-South region at a gun point
4. It is brain washing the educated among them
5. It is singular creating enmity for the Igbos.
6. It is re-enacting the event that lead to the Civil war.
7. It is singularly awaking Nigeria to the danger the Igbos are.
8. It is Emboldening the Igbos to be careless.
9. It will be the Catalyst that will break up this country.
10. Above all, it is awakening the Yorubas.

It's high time those who wants to secede should be allow to secede. Nigeria can't continue like this.

If we can't respect each other then we should all stay on our own. I'm tired of this hatred that we have for each other.

It is unfair and it is cheating for the South West to be the only region that's welcoming.

RedPhoenix:
No. I actually believe the SE is not entirely treated in the best possible way. There are clear facts that points to this. While secession through referendum is a decision many Ndigbo and other non-Ndigbo who are supported of this cause remains, we constantly maintain the secession without wasting young lives, brought about by grooming them to become state enemies to then fight the state. Yes, SE wants to secede and as I always say in my public speeches. I advice all igbos to support secession over power because it can control the vertical and horizontal lines of how it should exist. But, training young men to go out to kill. Hausas going about their normal lives burning their communities I will never stand for. Even in an independent Ndigbo, there still will be Hausas. So I'm pro-tolerant, pro-process in how things should be done. And yes, without hatred.
Agreed. Secession shouldn't be at the expense of any body's life. If truly they want it, it's achievable and you don't even need international community for that. You only need to convince your own people and convince other tribes.

Earlier today I was reading the news of El-rufai and Fayemi talking of devolution of more power to the States. These are men from the ruling Party. If that's done it will even be better than the regional government. All it took was politics of respect. It didn't require the shout of war or insult.

RedPhoenix:
My problem with Kanu, Asari Dokubo I've said it from ages back. They don't know how to sustain peace. And to push for their agenda forcefully will lead to loss of lives. The SE can through a referendum become a country on its own. But it needs a process. It's getting faster. Thus isn't even the time for kanu to be pushing for violence but stylishly wining the hearts of the International. Community to support the move to make Ndigbo get the opportunity for a referendum.

He's grossly unstrategic like his brother there Asari

I may support their causes but will never see the too as intelligent enough to be effective leaders

I'm. Wishing the referendum comes but they shouldn't force a separation at the price of human lives...
Do they truly want to secede?

I am not seeing any sign of seriousness.

They want to secede and I am not seeing any of this signs

* The Governors are not speaking up in support
* The Traditional leaders in the 5 states are not speaking up in support
* The Igbos outside the South East are not speaking out
* Those in the National Assembly are not speaking out
* And above all, the South East Region has no seaport, has no population to consume what he's trading and small land mass and he still wants to secede.

As far I'm concern its just a trick to get power.

That's the point. He's recruiting youths to become enemy of the state which people are turning from. Ipob weren't killing before na. Just processions, gatherings, protests

See my sister, if anyone touches ipob, we will from other places join them to fight back. But not when ipob is the miscreant. No. It should be in the defensive posture, not offense

I maintain my unashamed and planned apathy towards ipob, not just yesterday but today and tomorrow. But when it's defending it's sovereign interests and not when it's on rampage. It's that simple.
Good point. Kanu is just a senseless human being.

How can you be instigating war against elected leaders and security operatives and you expect there will be no fight back.
Politics › Re: Extrajudicial Killings In Oyigbo: Is It Right? by luvmijeje(f): 2:50pm On Nov 01, 2020
No it's not.

Buttttttt.......The extra judicial Killing is not done only by the Nigerian Army. It's also being done by Kanu and by every elected Igbo leaders who refused to speak up against him.

Kanu is recruiting young Igbo men into a war that cannot be won. He's recruiting them to act an insurgents against their host. He's recruiting them as an enemy of the state. Above all he's recruiting them to be disrespectful.

If every elected Igbo leaders continue to refuse to speak up against him, Kanu will instigate another insurgent in another region and it will be worse than what's happening now.

Everyone on the protest ground should be prosecuted on what grounds?? Is there a law against peaceful assembly? The last time we all checked, the lekki toll gate protest have been peaceful throughout till the reported shooting
5 grounds :

1. Hindering of movement
2. Target Harrasment(They all went there because they all thought Tinubu was the owner)
3. Disorderliness (Clubbing on a public road)
4. Road block
5. Inspiring others to be lawless.

A precedent needs to be set with them.

God bless Lagos State.

The destruction that took place is still like a dream.

Some criminal youths shouted #Endsars, an incompetent Government quickly ends it. Then from there the story quickly change to they are fighting for the betterment of Nigeria.

Protesters fighting for the betterment of Nigeria were drinking, eating, dancing, smoking and fuckin.g while at the same time hindering movement of their fellow citizens.

How did they manage to hoodwink Nigerians into thinking they are the saviours they have been waiting for?

The Southwest Governors unanimously disowned the war-mongering rhetoric of a man, Adeyinka Grandson, in a video circulating in the social media. They urged the Yoruba and non-Yoruba residents in the Southwest to disregard the threat of violence issued in the video, saying the “secessionist” had no authority to speak for the Yoruba.
Is this not what the South East's Governors should also have done against Kanu?

Kanu will soon cross his boundary with other region.

He said: “We are deeply concerned with the ease with which public buildings, utilities, police stations and investment of our people have been burnt despite the proximity of security agencies in those areas. The development leaves us with no other option than to believe that there may be other reasons for continued protests, well coordinated and funded.
I said it. This is a political attack. It was well orchestrated. Please all those at the protest ground should be investigated.
