when starcoms was still in existence, their engineers used to bring to us phones they can't fix, we are road side tech guys o. OP be deceiving yourself. 1st, there is nothing like universal part, if the part is not for the device there is no way it can work. 2: most of these your so called repair centres don't train engineers from abroad, they hire from the same roadside engineers. 3: many people have been complaining of the service of so called care centre, many of them are incompetent. 4: your care centres also get their repair parts from China, don't be decieved. 5: I agree with you that there are many quack road side engineers, but also note that some of us are well trained, competent, and educated, even more than the guys in care centres. 6: Most tech guys in the care centres are so lazy, they only replace parts and not trouble shoot. 7: My verdict, care centres or road side, until you get a tested and trusted professional to handle your device you keep suffering, some device are better dumped than spending your hard earned money fixing them but some engineers won't tell you that.
conclusion: if you are in lag, you took your device to a care centre, and they still can't get it done, WhatsApp or call me on 08098847247, any device I can't fix take it to China, it still won't work. This is not just a gain saying, this is real confidence. |

Topmaike007: hi my fellow nairalander,i am currently in college of education now but have a goal of serving(NYSC) after my degree,by then i will be almost 30 in which is the maximum age for service, and i will not be eligible to go because of age. so now i am planning to change my age, write another olevel exam, get another birth certificate and probably another jamb. the question now is that will it not affect the certificate i will be given in college of education in case i want to combine the both I.e N.C.E and B.S.C in the near future to work? instead change your date of birth when registering for jamb, nysc uses jamb database to mobilize corp members and not waec, you can use age declaration to support your waec. for people blaming you, its not your fault, the system has failed already, 95% of employers want employees of not less than 25yrs with at least 3years of experience, the hustle is real o, man must survive. since eke the bird has learned to fly without perching, the hunter has also learned how to shoot without missing, abi how them talk am? |

funimages: I AM CONSIDERING LEARN, SPSS FOR DATA ANALYSIS,WHERE CAN I USE IT, PLEAS ADVICE ME Data analytics is a very lucrative career path to build on and follow, I can say this confidently because I'm already on the path. Its one career that will soon be trending, but to become a professional data analyst or data scientists here are the steps to climb on your career path. knowing how to use SPSS, e-view or math lab, is not enough. 1: a degree in a statistics and math based course, like b.sc mathematics, statistics, computer science and economics. Because as a data analyst you will need a solid background in inferential statistics, Calculus and quantitative techniques. 2: A solid knowledge in programming, because you will need this skill to manipulate large data, build models, so this is a must. 3: This is the final career path you will climb. you will to learn data analytics as a professional, learning and using advance software tools like R programming which is more popular, python programming for data science, etc. depends on your preferences |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Stop Mocking People Who Work 9-5jobs by lyricalz: 8:58am On Aug 19, 2017 |
KillerBeauty: It makes me laugh when I hear people bashing others who decide to work 9-5 jobs. Don’t get me wrong owning a business is great and the monetary reward are amazing. But some people like to switch off at 5 or 6pm.
Most people especially here on Nairaland, make it look as if working for someone means you are not being ambitious enough. They forget that it takes time to actually start making money from being self-employed.
Apparently so many people want to bear the name entrepreneur and rush into the ideal dream they have been nursing in their mind not knowing it entails a lot to really achieve that name entrepreneur. The most important thing in life should be doing what you love.
What I’m getting at is that not everyone wants to own a business and not everyone wants to work 9-5 jobs. We all have our purpose in life and shouldn’t make others feel bad just because their view point is different.
Some people think that been an entrepreneur is a sure way to be financially free while working for somebody means you are living a mediocre life. But that is simply a fallacy, I know business owners who are struggling to make ends meet while some salary earners are making more money in their jobs than them.
I know a lady working for a multinational firm here in Lagos who is earning 1.2million Naira a month, a job that have given her immense exposure and great confidence in her skills. I also know of another lady who owns a beauty shop with 5 staffs under her payroll but yet can’t boost of half of the first lady salary in a month. Yet some people won’t hesitate to talk down on 9-5 jobs.
We shouldn’t allow other people opinion influence our decision. If been a bus driver is your thing go for it. whether you choose to drive your own bus or work for a transport company is totally your choice and don’t let others put you down because of that. If you are not happy with your 9-5 job you can quit and do what makes you happy.
If you are taking your 9-5 job as a form of apprenticeship before starting your own business that is awesome but you shouldn’t mock others who are there for the long haul neither should you term them unambitious.
The crux of the matter is that if everybody decides to own a business who then will work in these established companies, who will help run the business. If we are all the same it will be a boring world.
People need to concentrate on themselves and worry about where they are going in life and not try to put a downer in other people happiness. Our differences are what makes this world amazing.
Henceforth, If anybody creates a thread on how to be an exceptional staff, or how to navigate normal office life or build great relationships with colleagues and bosses in the work place rather than typing “ be your own boss”, or “team self-employed” or quoting “your salary is the bribe given to abandon your dream and build other people dream” try and encourage people.
If need be, tell them how to create a dual source of income but don’t put them down because of the choices they have made. it all depends on the 9-5 job, sometimes it pays doing business or even menial job than some 9-5 jobs. |

some ipobs don't want restructuring, they want biafra , thinking south south will follow them because of oil. They better wake up from their dreams and support restructuring. By the year 2025 countries in Europe and american will place a ban on oil powered vehicles and switch to electric ones, then real hunger will be on the land. Now its the time to restructure, to prepare ahead when oil will no longer be relevant, then I expect all states to be financially okay from her own resources. If we don't restructure now, it will be too late later. |

NOETHNICITY: PDP is a very devilish party capable of many evil acts. This possibility is not completely out of place. Also, I suspect SE based ipob extremists might ve a hand in it.
But then, the whose mystery surrounding the hate song could easily ve been unraveled by a vibrant SSS.
No! the SSS is busy following top dignitaries upandan hiding under the protection of the police, wearing big suits and driving about in tinted cars while they ve failed in their primary responsibility of gathering intelligence.
The SSS is the most overrated FG organization in Nigeria.
The failures of the SSS grossly overlooked, while all blames gets hipped on the police.
The sad reality is that the SSS is a whole lot of expensive waste. Get buy some sense |

We have capacity to bring Nigeria to a halt. You better recognize. but truth be told, you know the northerners are not scared of Yorubas, infact its just a fling with one hand for them, the only people they are afraid of is the igbos and Niger Delta people. The northerners know Yorubas can never ever try them, not to talk of challenging them.
