fbtowner: Good morning guys
Please can a kind Samaritan please list out the pros and cons of the Accord 2009,
Is it a good car to use for a non heavy user, At the mention of Honda people always scream legs and I think they are actually exaggerating because I have had people use different models of accord ranging from 04 to 08 and never had leg issues,
I even had a friend doing Uber/bolt sell his Camry 08 to buy accord 04, I also have a friend using Camry 05 always complaining of legs, he says he always have to do something in the legs every now and then.
Also. Can 2m get a good used Accord 09 without problems I really like Honda Accord cars and I hope not to regret
Please try to be detailed as much as you can. Thanks as you help.
Also please do car sellers allow buyer to scan the car for detailed analytics before buying?
Also if there’s any thread on this kindly refer me to it. That's the car I'm using presently and I can assure you that it is one of the most reliable cars you could ever have. Just stick to the maintenance culture and you won't have anything to worry about. |

ZIMDRILL: i dont know which part you read but start from when she comes back after two days and take the child to the hospitail
Remember am also i know the system inlive in the UK
when the father was interviewed he denied strucking the child, but then how does he explain the bruises when he was the adult in the house Maybe you should read it again. |
Family › Re: London Court Jails Nigerian Three Years For Flogging Son by mabea: 7:59am On May 16, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: The hospital! They are obligated to report any suspicious bruises irrespective of the explanations given to them by the suspect. You didn't get my point. There was a text message the man sent to his wife threatening that they should not say anything to the police. How did the police, the court or the hospital know about it? |
Family › Re: London Court Jails Nigerian Three Years For Flogging Son by mabea: 9:10pm On May 15, 2023 |
ZIMDRILL: it doesnt work like that hear
what i mean is this, if the child reports thats it, who ever did the act is in trouble with authority
In this case the mum had to explain the bruises at the hospital, most likely she failed to explain the bruise at the hospital
here kids are protected any bruise that takes a child to hospital u are i trouble I would have agreed completely with you but then part of the judgement cited a text message sent to the wife and the child. Who could have revealed it if not the wife. |

Politics › Re: My Encounter With The Presidential Candidate Of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi by mabea: 9:58pm On Mar 28, 2023 |
N3TRAL: Let me say this loud, clear and unequivocally:
I really love Peter Gregory Obi.
He presented hope for most Southern Nigerians who are only existing and not living life. I know this because I feel ashamed everytime I step out of grocery stores and malls with trolleys full of quality consumables, not because I'm a thief but because of the hopeless faces whose children would sleep without food.
I really respect Peter Obi because he proved the tribalists and those who treat Igbo people with disdain wrong.
He won the FCT and Lagos. He won Nasarawa in Northern Nigeria. He defeated an Hausa Speaking elite in Plateau State (Northern Nigeria) where he won with hundreds of thousands of votes. He won the South South, a zone that's believed not to have forgiven Igbos because of the civil war excesses.
Peter Obi reassured those of South Eastern heritage that they are loved and welcomed in Nigeria even though their rightful turn to lead their country was denied.
He did all these with a party that was inexistent in National Politics about 365 days ago.
I love His Excellency 👑 Peter Obi because of his determination to enshrine in the depth of the typical Nigerian a new political orientation of virtue signalling, empathy, humility, political correctness, diligence, workaholism, and humanism.
If he won, his government would have been one with the least intervention of "godfatherism" in our political culture.
It is not Mr Obi's fault that he wasn't my choice or the choice of more than 8 million others .
It's the fault of democracy that allows people to choose the leader they believe in most. If there was no Asiwaju, it'll be Obi for me. I'm still mourning the fact that he came third instead of 2nd.
ASIWAJU IS COMING !
He is coming because his ambition resonates with the larger Abiola story.
He is coming because God in heaven rewards hard work and strategic planning.
He is coming because it is Nigeria's O'clock.
He is coming because populism is a recipe for perennial poverty- facts.
He is coming because his manifesto was the most meaningful and practicable.
He is coming because his track records are more sterling.
He is coming because of his ability to assemble near-perfect teams that inspire development.
He is coming because he had the majority of votes cast and scored 25% in not less than 25 states of Nigeria.
He is coming to set the republic free. And you said this one is okay? |

Dearlove2me: The truth is right now, I feel like going somewhere for a while. I feel like I need rest. Somewhere I can forget about all my problems and breathe a fresh air. My husband has not been honest with me since the beginning of this marriage and I doubt if this is an attitude of a man that loves
He has always been in debt even before I married him. and he wouldn't let me know what he do with the money he keeps borrowing from people. Even my friends I introduced to him, he is owning them and can't pay back.
The bad side is, he borrows and stop picking their calls not respond nicely to them. He behalves badly to them. I'm suspecting he's into some kind of addiction that demands money. Maybe gambling but he wouldn't tell me. He's constantly on his phone.
He is owning loan app everywhere. To the extent that the app had to send hurrible messages to his contact's lists including his bosses, office colleagues and my relatives. It's so embarrassing and tiring. He has apologized several times that I should give him time to work on himself to stop an addiction, but he refused to explain what it is. Claiming that I might leave him if I know. But he has not changed abit. We are always hungry in this house. No baby food for my 6months old baby, no pampers and everything is total struggle. I quit my job last year but I'll soon start job search once my baby grow a little. In this house, If I don't look for food, then, we starve, I don't look for means of getting pampers, food, wears, then my baby will suffer, because his daddy is not capable of providing anything for us. It's so annoying.
I have dreams before I married him, but right now, I feel lost. There's no romance, no love, no affection in this marriage anymore, as I wouldn't even let him touch me because of the stress, suffer he constantly brings on us.
Money I raised to start up a business, (340k) I ended up using it to pay for his debt last two months because the people were always coming to embarrass us in the house and neighbors were coming to pleade on our behalf. I had to clear up the loan, yet he couldn't explain what he did with the money. With that start up capital, I would have been growing by now, but here I am. Still at the zero point.
I'm really tired I'm so confused here. What should I do? What would you advise? Chai the exact situation with my Cousin. His wife borrowed from everywhere, even sold his land. He has paid at least 3M to settle these debts yet there's still more. The funny thing is he doesn't know what these monies were used for |

The SE has the worst Govs in the country but they are more obsessed with Lagos. Why? Worst Governors you said. South Easterners don't waste time calling out their governors as can be seen here on nairaland but you people don't have such time as long as there's Lagos you are fine |

Most people here are Lagosians who don't actually know what people are going through. If you go to the interior parts of Abeokuta you will see worse situation than this. No good roads, primitive shelter,no good water. My company had to set up about 5 different buildings and a borehole for them. We are also building some class rooms at the moment. Honestly Ogun State and some other South West States are too backward but some of our brothers here don't tell themselves the truth. They only talk about Lagos as if everybody is from Lagos. |

sreamsense: Some of you have started your ignorance again based on religion, even though, I have been supporting Tinubu; your religious clause in your statement is wrong. Where did you see almost all Christians voted for obi, if that happens; this election has shown that muslim-muslim ticket can not work. Ondo and Ekiti are predominantly christians, if they used religion sentiment to vote, it means Tinubu will not win, but ; they did not. Christians are more slightly in Ogun, if they base voting on religion; it means obi would have won at worst pick 25%, but they did not.
Osun Muslims are higher in population, but Tinubu loss. Does that sound to you that voting is based on religion? Yorubas for instance don't base voting sentiment on religion. And many popular pastors in Yoruba land including CAN and PFN under Yoruba leadership never forced any Christian or mandated it for members to vote obi, if they do; obi would have won the ticket easily without stress, but obi is just a bad product to many and many Biafrans are not friendly because they are too abusive, insultive, intolerant and arrogant set of people. You can see how they have started being self centered, boastful without even remembering to appreciate few yorubas like Affenifere, obasanjo, some yorubas entertainers and their supporters that made it possible.
Many that are leading campaign for Tinubu are christians and even pastors and kept sensitizing other Christians to vote for him. Reason why Tinubu enjoyed many Christian support is because he is straight forward, bold, he is Yoruba Muslim that has no history of terrorism or religion violence. He married a Christian, his matured children are christians and he is more competent and gathered more experience than obi. He performed better than obi as governors of their respective states. Tinubu legacies are still standing talks here and there for people to see, but most of obi legacies have gone down and crumbled.
You can all see tsunami that raided and sacked Aso rock (city of power), Lagos, Kano and kaduna even without Christian leaders forced Christians to vote obi and some northern Christians that did divided their votes between Atiku and Obi What of you people that often abuse Igbos and call them all sorts of names because they don't support APC not minding that many of them are supporting APC even on this platform. |
