Salewa97:He is Deputy DG. Him being DG would mean that Asiwaju had his way on all major appointments and it wouldn't have made the Governors happy. After taking VP, he had to concede campaign DG. By all accounts, DG will be Lalong while Campaign Chairman will be El-Rufai |
Lol. |
Wike, which way you wan go? ![]() Seriously though, it is too early to read meaning to this. I think Wike is just having fun and giving someone in Adamawa high BP. |
Minjim:Honestly, you are just being myopic in your thinking. Do you even know who Putin is? Do you even know the origin of the issues between Russia and the US? You just open mouth waaah, like Calabar pot after watching fake news CNN/BBC. Putun ko, Putum ni. |
A treaty expires in 2026, and you are seeking for its extension in 2022? Furthermore, the country you are intending to negotiate with in good faith, you haven't acted in good faith towards them with regards to NATO expansion and the mess you caused in Ukraine. The US is just acting like a child that has eaten its cake and wants to have it again. |
maybet081:By their fruits you shall know them. Your insults and curses doesn't move me. However, it seems that Sam Omatseye's essay really hit you very well. Hence, your unimaginable pain. Pele o |
TheGoodJoe:No, you are right, he didn't "loot". He simply kept the state's money in his family's account and earned the accruing interest. At least that is better than looting right?? |
Great news! |
Good, his choice is respected. As for Onoh, the PDP governorship candidate who is supporting Asiwaju, his choice is also welcomed and respected. Democracy is one man, one vote. It is not war. |
What kind of democracy are these "Obidients" hoping to bring onboard if successful? A democracy where any dissenting opinion must be ridiculed and silenced? One really has to start getting worried as this is getting out of hand. A man wrote an article stating certain points from his own perspective, you might choose to agree with or not. But to go to the extent of calling him an insult to his generation or that his children should be ashamed of him has crossed all known extremes. Many of you doing this online mob action and cyber bullying, thinking that you are anonymous, I really pity you all. But the person I pity the most is the candidate you are all glorifying and on whose behalf you are attacking others. He is simply a politician and right now, he says things that tickles your ears, he seems to be the candidate with a difference as you claim. Yet he has spent all his political years doing the same things every politician has always done - which is to fight for his interest. May God have mercy on you all, because when he does eventually lose the presidential election and moves back to his real political family, I hope you will have the courage and strength to move on from despair and repair whatever bridges you might have burnt in defense of him. |
Reference:You raised a valid point, but then no matter which way one cuts it, there will always be someone who feels left out. As for South West, it is reaping the benefit of supporting Buhari/APC in 2015. Amongst all the Southern zones, it was only South West that saw Buhari as a quick route to power. If the South East had aligned with Buhari back then in place of the South West, by now we will be talking of a South East presidency. I do understand the feelings, but actually each region always tries to outsmart the other in the quest for power. That is why I rationally will not expect any Ibo to support Tinubu/APC in the 2023 Presidential elections, as supporting either PDP or LP is a faster route to power for the Ibos. |
Penguin2:Please grow up. Edited pictures will not reduce the number of votes that will be cast for him during the elections. My candid advice to you, is to invest your energy in promoting your preferred candidate rather than denigrating other candidates or attacking people for their choices. Live and let others live. |
Penguin2:100%. At least Exxon Mobil found him worthy to run their finances. |
GamalNasser:Selfish gain? I personally don't know Asiwaju neither is he paying me. My support for him is not borne out of monetary gain, but rather based on my personal conviction that he is the best man for the job. |
Good, they should go in peace as water will always find its level. I do find it strange that they are comfortable supporting a party that is fielding a Northern Fulani candidate when power is meant to rotate to the South. It is now clear that BD Lawal was never a true friend of Asiwaju. He simply latched on to his Presidential bid in order to get the VP for either himself or his relative Boss Mustapha. As for Dogara, there is nothing surprising here. He had always been a PDP man. He is simply going back to his roots. Even if Dogara was the only Christian in the North, Asiwaju will never have picked him. Honestly though in this their new adventure, I wish them well same with Daniel Bwala. |
aninibinladen:Ok, let's watch and see. |
cktheluckyman:Forget Social hype. APC will win Kano. |
I am not arguing with emotions here. Benue election will be largely decided by the individual and not the party. Despite what you might think, APC will score at least 40% votes in Benue, just watch and see. The voting dynamics of 2023 will be quite surprising. Let's watch and see. As for Adamawa, Atiku was the presidential candidate of the PDP in 2019 and it was a close call. Actually APC will have won the Governorship in 2019, if not for Nyako who defected to another party (I think SDP) and carried his supporters with him. Forget sentiments of Nasarawa. Sule will scale through. Although I can't say for Presidential. Jigawa? Sule Lamido had always had influence but that won't take his son to Government house. Keep your fingers crossed. aninibinladen: |
fergie001:Oh...mixed Bauchi & Gombe. Inuwa Yahaya is Governor of Gombe. Will edit accordingly. Don't also forget, Presidential & Guber won't hold same dayI factored that into my analysis. |
Kaduna is being resolved. Kano is already resolved as those that wanted to leave have already left and this is same with Katsina. Problem states that remain due to internal party conflicts are actually Sokoto, kebbi, Plateau & Bauchi states. Also, I don't think your prediction is correct with regards to Benue & Nasarawa states. The APC candidate in Benue is very strong and much loved by his people. So thinking that people will reject him because APC is fielding Muslim-Muslim is a wrong line of thought. Nasarawa is firmly in AA Sule's hands as his performance in office speaks for itself. Adamawa is 50/50. If Ribadu drops his case and they align forces together with Bindow, Aishatu Binani has a very good chance. Gombe is going to be closely fought for between APC and PDP Saying that APC will lose Niger & Jigawa?? You must be really a joker. APC will firmly win Zamfara, Katsina, Kogi, Kano & Kaduna for both Governorship & Presidential. Edo is off-cycle so if APC wins the Presidential elections and presents a good candidate, they will win in Edo. Obaseki's performance is quite poor and even the PDP structure is not in his hands. I don't see APC winning any states in SS/SE. aninibinladen: |
APC made mistakes in the past concluded primaries especially due to the high-handed nature of Governors. That's the more reason why Lalong was a no-show in consideration for VP candidate. Yes he might be a Christian, but performance wise, leadership wise, his credentials wouldn't have stood up to scrutiny. My advise is for Asiwaju who is the presidential candidate to work closely with the National Chairman and quickly go round these states, especially Sokoto, Kebbi, Plateau & Bauchi to placate aggrieved members as the infighting there is dangerously going to affect performance in 2023. There is still time, but efforts should commence quickly. |
aribisala0:I agree sir |
Inasmuch as I am dismayed with this government, this is a right step. The very thing terrorists need is publicity. The more our media houses keep glorifying terrorists or giving them unnecessary media attention, the more their objective is being achieved. What the BBC does in Nigeria, I bet they will never allow a Nigerian station to do same in the UK. |
nairavsdollars:liar liar |
What do people gain from smearing a person's reputation? The plaintiffs should have simply gone to court and presented the necessary documents proving their ownership of the land rather than mudslinging on the pages of an unworthy online fake news publication like Sahara Reporters. Mr. Ayinde should press charges for defamation of character. Also, Sahara Reporters is one of the chief spreaders of fake news today. Normally in journalism you try to get both sides of the story. But Sahara Reporters doesn't agree with that journalistic principle. Anything to trend, either false or not, they don't care. The government should certainly do something about them. |
Is this not the same Jandor whose billboards are all over third mainland bridge? Wonderment! |
Well...well. Please come home sir, there are pressing issues to be fixed. Liberia is celebrating 175 years but looking at the challenges we are facing, and the direction we are heading, we might not even see 100 talk less of 175. ![]() |
May God comfort the bereaved |
Governor Uzodinma should lead by example and reconciling with Owelle Rochas first before advising others to reconcile. |
Errrm....while the VP's choice of using local medical practitioners is impressive, this statement smells of a political ego massage. Duchess Hospital is a top class private hospital and the cost of services there are way beyond the affordability of the common man. Yes, it costs N5,000.00 to get a registration form as claimed, but we all know that the cost of treatment for various ailments is quite stratospheric. This is just like someone claiming that Reddington or Evercare is affordable. Anyways congrats to the VP for setting a standard, but it shouldn't be overflogged. |
assholemods:My comment is not for you to understand. |

I love my brain the way it is. You though might be needing your master's help for re-calibration. |
