seunmsg:Well, you have a point. |
Dangerous games. Except Machina has been settled, otherwise...explosion!!! |
This will lead to disqualification o. 1. Lawan never participated in the primaries 2. Machina who participated as witnessed by INEC and other security agencies scored the highest number of votes. 3. Machina never signed and submitted a letter of withdrawal to the APC with INEC in copy. Internal democracy in APC.....zero! |
Boss Mustapha is a great and competent human being. However, for one he isn't interested. Second, he is weak politically. This Igbo group just wants Tinubu to lose woefully by picking Boss Mustapha. |
udele1:What is the drama here, it simply shows that she is intelligent, able to manage situations and has a good sense of humour. As to the main topic, I think there is a different between "why are you behaving like a thug" and saying "you are a thug". Your attempt at mischief without looking at the video in its full context won't fly. For your information, within political circles, Mama Tinubu is held in high esteem. |
Guy why nah ![]() Tinubu won't fail though, have some faith. AlexBells: |
2elliot:What is your source for this? Bola Ahmed Tinubu was never mentioned in the Pandora Papers. It is a pity that Nigeria has lax legal laws, nonetheless you need to really watch out what you say irrespective of if you are seemingly anonymous. Libel & Slander are chargeable offences and somebody who really wants to nail you for this can do so. A word is enough for the wise. |
Tinubu already said that he is picking his VP from the Northeast and he/she will be a Christian. Why this fake news? I hope this is not another Abdulahi Adamu's NWC "inspired scam". |
Truthisunique2:Lolz....I never carried rumours bro. It is good though, that he has clearly stated his preference for a Northern Christian. |
Beremx:This is the root cause of the problem. Tinubu is a very liberal Muslim, and the North doesn't want a Christian as they feel their core interests will not be represented. |
Osinbajo came from a region that wasn't so primordial about religion. That's the major difference zikter: |
Boss, see plenty questions o. See primordial sentiments is the major fuel driving this argument. Both from the Muslims and also the Christians. This all stems from the poor leadership we have experienced over the years. Asides from the selfishness of the Northern Governors which is obvious, I think there is also a realistic point of view that selling a Christian to represent Northern interests in the ticket might not be as easy compared to selling a Muslim. Also PDP bringing up Atiku also provides a sense of desperation, as they need to cancel his perceived advantage with a Muslim. AntonVince: |
Truthisunique2:So more Christians in the SE, SS & NC voted APC in 2015 as compared to PDP? Following your argument, did Christians from Winners, Lord Chosen, Catholic etc also vote APC?. Research your demographics better. |
joyandfaith:Actually, more Christians voted for Jonathan as APC was presented as a Muslim party even in my local environment. But that is a topic for another day. |
Zonefree:Hmmn, Buhari is just playing to the gallery. In 2015, if not for opposition raised by Saraki for selfish reasons, a Muslim-Muslim ticket will have been birthed and it would have won. Buhari is not the one fighting for election, so he can pander now to sentiments (even though the sentiments are right). |
sirjustice1575:**my vote** and not **our vote** You are speaking for yourself and not others. |
This is a difficult decision for APC to be honest. The source mentioning Dogara is just joking. He has no electoral value to the ticket. As for Boss Mustapha, feelers indicate that he isn't interested. Simon Lalong is the one applying so much pressure internally to swing things to his side, but then is he loyal? Getting VP isn't just about votes, it is also about working with someone who you are absolutely comfortable with. Finally, the Northern Governors should at this time show their worth. Even if Tinubu chooses an unknown Christian candidate, they should fight to market him. |
Hon. Yakubu Dogara has two issues against him 1. He isn't a heavyweight politician, not even in his own state of Bauchi 2. His perception as someone who will rock the boat to get power. What Tinubu needs is someone who is absolutely loyal, someone who will be a friend, a brother and stick with him in the trenches. In my view, such a person is Nuhu Ribadu....but he is plagued by issue number one. He no get weight. Another person is Boss Mustapha from Tinubu's ACN days....but he doesn't seem interested. |
Truthisunique2:Why are you propagating fake news? Nowhere in that video was Asiwaju mentioned, Nowhere in that video could it be proven that the persons carrying the bags were even delegates at Eagle Square, and nowhere in that video was it proven that the bags contained money. You might think that Social Media gives anonymity, but you should be careful |
Came as a boy, left as a MAN |
BMZK:Zulum, Buni and Yahaya of Bauchi are comfortable with Shettima, they will work for him to pull votes. Also note that the VP must be someone who has strong credentials, no accompanying baggage with a sense of loyalty to the President. Ganduje is a good administrator, but his baggage is too much, while El-Rufai is too strong and radical. |
TheOgaBoss:Oga, please read between the lines to understand my point. I never said CAN or PFN do not represent Christians. |
Ibkhaleel01:We already have enough to divide us, let's not add more. Moreso, I can't say this for all Christians in terms of bigotry....some are bigots but not the majority. Also remember that CAN, PFN and co are politicians in their own right and they do not necessarily represent mainstream Christian views at all times. |
Prettychild:I meant minority tribe in the North as compared to Fulani tribe. I meant no offense. |
Shettima based on competence, credentials and general acceptability as a non-fanatical muslim is an excellent choice. Also, he is a minority from the Kanuri tribe. However, fireworks from CAN, PFN, Southern Christians are incoming. I don't envy Tinubu ooo. |
Macaroni should support whomever he chooses to support and not ram his choice down the throat of others because he is a Youtube celebrity. I remember Ronald Reagan who was also questioned about his ability to govern due to his age. Today modern America's greatness is attributable to him. One's ability to govern is not determined by age, but rather by capacity, antecedents and experience. He should be able to provide verifiable evidence of his own preferred candidate's capacity, antecedents and experience rather than resort to cheap blackmail. Bandwagon politics is an absolute no, abeg. |
I learnt that hard work pays. To those claiming that victory was achieved through bribing delegates, I hope you can defend such in court with verifiable evidence if you are called to do so. Tinubu was certain to win, with inducement or without inducement. |
Bluntguy:I don't think so. Rather it strengthens the ticket in the core battleground of the North. But in terms optics, it will hurt a bit especially for me and other Christians. But I believe in BAT |
funshint:I agree that this is unconfirmed. However, if Muslim-Muslim ticket will be the accepted deal then Shettima is the best fit. The man is absolutely brilliant. Both in performance and in credentials. Although, let's wait for an official confirmation. |
LegendHero:Please share, we need to preach the gospel of BAT |
There is no doubt that BAT is an achiever. He will always have me and my family's vote. |
Tomek09:Yes, that is quite obvious. |
