So the next thing is to cancel her in the Church right? Children of hate, why are you so full of hate? With the way things are going, and until Nigeria probably ceases to exist, it is going to be hard for anyone of you to ascend the Presidency of Nigeria. Your hatred for other tribes is legendary, but you forget that you cannot achieve what you want without the support of those same tribes. |
This story is a plant as it doesn't add up. What concerns APC senators with what is happening in PDP? The more PDP fights, the better for APC. Atiku's people are just planting all manner of stories to discredit Wike, but all nah wash. . The truth can't be wiped away, Atiku took the slot of the South and he should face the consequences. |
slivertongue:"...and when we finish the elections, we will go and seek for refund" Quote the comment in full and don't be clever by half. |
Naijanascam:The Electoral Act of 2022 did not exist in 2014. Please receive sense. |
Alexmani:Thanks for your concern about Osinbajo but we chose to present an Elephant in person of Tinubu who we know will not be defeated by the opposition. However, concerning your accusations against Tinubu and his support for Buhari, I don't remember your Peter Obi who was a key member of Jonathan's PDP government ever condemning Jonathan for the wanton corruption and inexplicable state of insecurity under his watch. I don't remember Peter Obi ever condemning the fact that government started borrowing to pay salaries despite the fact that Oil was averaging $100/barrel as at 2014. Actually, instead of condemning Jonathan, Peter Obi was at the forefront of the campaigns for Jonathan to win re-elections in 2015. So on what moral ground are you using to judge Tinubu who isn't a part of Buhari's government, while excusing Obi who was an integral part of Jonathan's government? Buhari did his best. Whether his best was good enough will be left for posterity to decide. Thank you. |
God bless Asiwaju the City Boy God bless Shettima the Golden Boy God bless and favour the upcoming campaigns God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nigeria is a beautiful country, it is not a zoo and will never be a zoo. We will have a worthy leader, who will bring the midas touch to greatly improve our lot and take Nigeria into a 21st Century Knowledge economy. That leadership team is Tinubu/Shettima. Haters can keep hating, but their hatred will only make them losers.
|
Expect PDP to say anything to trend. Tinubu and his running mate Shettima, have said it severally via their respective spokesmen, that they will build on the positive legacies of Buhari and keep the momentum going to ensure that those successes remain i.e. Infrastructure and Agriculture. They have also mentioned that in the areas where challenges have been persisent and without resolution, they will bring on-board fresh ideas to surmount those challenges. I don't see how that translates to abandoning Buhari and using Buhari to judge Tinubu is just plainly illogical. PDP should better invest their energies in resolving the rift in their midst and leave APC alone. |
anonabbey:I am not trying to downgrade my race. I am a black man, and will be forever be proud to be of the black race. However, our own ways are quite vicious and it needs us to willingly acknowledge same truthfully. Politics everywhere is vicious, but we take it to a whole new level especially here in Africa. I hope you get my point! |
Google told you he is from Osun State? You must be a clown. 4teenblaq: |
I will leave the critique of your response to those who are from Anambra or those who live in Anambra as I cannot independently verify what you provided. Good luck with your choice. mycar: |
4teenblaq:Google is your friend for this one. I honoured your initial question with an informative response. |
4teenblaq:My candidate is ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU He is contesting because he has the experience - both public snd private sector and he is the best man for the job. At a time such as this, we need leaders who have shown capacity and ability to bring about transformation. His antecedents are too numerous to mention. He is the progenitor of the success story that is modern day LAGOS. He is a pioneer, a visionary and a builder of men and astute manager of resources. He is not afraid of trying new ideas and he thinks out of the box when fashioning long term solutions to problematic situations i.e. Eko Atlantic. So that is BAT for you in a nutshell. ![]() Vote for him to secure your future. |
mycar:Why don't you share what is good about Peter Obi so that we may become asnenlightened as you are? I only shared facts which are publicly known. |
Everything there is true. For those who virulently support Peter Obi as the ONLY candidate to follow if we don'twant to keep suffering, I still ask why? On almost all metrics of governance and key performance indicators of leadership, he doesn't stand out. His knowledge and grasp of the economy is zero as I remember his earlier forays at the Convenant Christian Centre back in the day. Kemi Adeosun practically ate him alive and called out his false statistics and zero knowledge on economic management. If it is about age, then he also doesn't cut it as he is above 60 If it is about legacies or antecedents, he doesn't have anything clearcut to present. His perceived humility is also a charade. Preparing your coffee yourself or carrying your bag yourself is never a good sign of leadership. He has a tendency to be individualistic which doesn't bode well. As a president, you certainly won't be making your coffee yourself, carrying your bag yourself or following your convoy to buy fuel at the filling station. He is one of the biggest importers into Nigeria, and is particularly responsible for the present state of the Naira. So his consumption to production mantra is also a falsehood. So OBIdients, please be truthful and say your support is because it is turn of the Igbos and then most of us will be able to understand. |
Politics without hatred or bitterness. Also letting the Church know that there is nothing to fear from either Asiwaju or Kashim. They are not and were never religious bigots. |
Playermayweda:Since I ''stupidly" wrote a long epistle with big words, why don't you intelligently counter it with a summarised epistle using simple words? For your information, Agbado is the Yoruba word for Corn. I leave you to your own devices. |
There is something wrong with the way the black man plays politics, that makes people who want to keep their sanity to avoid it. Firstly, it is lack of internal democracy within all the parties. None is an exception. Secondly, is the lack of proper reconciliation mechanisms. If persons are aggrieved, there should be a means of pursuing justice to a reasonable conclusion within the party. Thirdly, is the I must win mentality. Politics is all about horse trading - give and take. If you don't succeed today, then work hard to succeed tomorrow. But our politicians never accept this. If I don't win, then I must pull the whole house down. APC at this stage should put its feet down. The party already has a candidate. Anyone who is still aggrieved despite efforts of pacification and reconciliation should be advised to leave the party. |
Typical Reverse Psychology tactics. Shebi February elections will come and go. Let's see which cause the Son of Oputa will chase after next. Peter Obi has been seriously deceived, and is still deceived by those who tell him that there is nothing wrong with his supporters and that it is only his supposed enemies who are pretending to be his supporters to malign his campaign. One of Peter Obi's earliest supporters was Prof. Remi Sonaiya and she also drew his attention to the toxicity that his supporters were spreading online,.perhaps maybe she too is trying to malign his character. At the end, Peter Obi is free to believe what he chooses to believe. Time will reveal all things. The only people I have sympathy for is the Labour Party. At the end of the Obi experiment, I hope their reputation will still be intact. |
But when Festus Keyamo was helping Debo Adedayo aka Macaroni through his academic challenges with Unilag then, I bet he wasn't "embarrassing". To say that present day youths are not wise is an understatement. Most reason with sentiments and not with their brains. Let us keep watching up to February 2023 and see if Keyamo was right or wrong. |
Mikhail Gorbachev, a man with a troubled legacy. In the eyes of the West, he is a reformer, a man who "brought down the iron curtain" and helped destroy the Soviet Union. In the eyes of the Russian people, he is seen a lily livered betrayer who sold out his country to the West in the name of vain promises and a pot of porridge. The truth is that Gorbachev was naive. Despite the failure of Glasnost (openness) and perestroika (reform), there was still hope to save the Soviet Union and translate into a China style Quasi-Socialist state under the banner of communism while introducing private ownership (right to own property). However, Gorbachev allowed the Western stooges Yeltsin (Russian SSR) and Kuchma (Ukraine SSR) to run circles around him, disregard the referendum of 1991 which was in favour of not dissolving the Union and then stupidly accepting verbal guarantees that NATO will not threaten Russia after the breakup of the Union. Gorbachev failed to do any of the above and the rest they say is history. The current Russian Special Military Operation in Ukraine, is as a result of the failure of Gorbachev to preserve the Union thereby giving NATO a foothold into Eastern Europe. Nonetheless, his fight is finished. May he be forgiven and rest in peace. |
id911:The guy you quoted is a parody account. He is pro-Obi |
As expected. Sanwo Lekan si City Boy Asiwaju for Victory |
MyVILLAGEpeople:Why do you people think like this? |
Good points although Tinubu won't make any deal with Makinde. With or without Makinde, Tinubu is sure of at least 65% vote in Oyo State. Furthermore, a deal with Makinde will undercut Oyo APC and he will never do that. DeLaRue: |
lopimas:Always try to apply commonsense when speaking on matters like this. While you have not provided any credible link to backup the figures you claimed was spent on the rail, it is important for you to know that cost of equipment is separate from the cost of civil works. The value paid to the Chinese, for which they will report to the Chinese government, is for the cost of equipment (train engine, train carriages, switching stations, signalling equipment etc). What about the Civil works itself? Have you seen the level of Civil works that was done especially over water in parts of Mile 2, Orile and CMS? Have you considered the cost of the IPP station that is being built to generate electricity for the tracks? Have you considered the amount incurred as pre-development costs (Right of Way, EIA Studies, Relocation expenses etc). Now amortize all these costs from when Fashola kicked this off in 2007 to date and tell me that it won't be as high as $3bn if not more. Stop being economical with the truth, it is wickedness. |
post=116187153:I should go and verify what I know are lies? When I was born, bred and lived decades in this Lagos? You are just a jobless political hack whose bread and butter is to spread lies and falsehood. Like Obi, like you. Abeg waka pass. For people like you, my nice and respectiveful policy temporarily takes the back seat. |
MDM2021:I didn't talk about his economic performance or issue if unemployment. I was talking about (in)security. |
Agboriotejoye:Same way Tinubu shouldn't be blamed for Buhari. Everybody should bear their father's name. However, to quickly correct some wrong things: 1. There was banditry in OBJ's time. It just wasn't this pronounced due to the non-existence of Social Media and traditional media as it is now. 2. Kidnappings was rife during OBJ's time 3. Extrajudicial killings done by OPC, Bakassi Boys, MASSOB and even the Army in certain instances was rife during OBJ's time 4. South South agitation blew up during OBJ's time 5. Boko Haram led by Yusuf, starting his radical preaching during OBJ's time. It was Yar'Adua in 2009 who later took decisive action, although it now metamorphosed into full blown terrorism. So OBJ's tenure was some paradise land in terms of security as certain people are projecting. |
You are a very wicked liar. All this will end after the February 2023 elections, then you can go back to wailing for your land of heroes. post=116184427: |
