sagitariusbaby:There is quite a lot of ignorance concerning this conflict, and this is mainly due to our own local media regurgitating Western news instead of attempting to broadly investigate the causes of the conflict and be balanced in their reportage. For Russia, this conflict is existential. They will rather go nuclear than lose. As a reference, remember the lengths to which the US went when missiles were placed in Cuba. Now juxtapose same situation to Russia, |
No plan to campaign in Plateau?? Or is the rally held at the Jos stadium on September 28th the official campaign for Plateau state? Questions, questions, questions! |
In life, never succumb to hatred or hateful people. A lot of the idiotic persons insulting online cannot even lace her shoes or stand before her physically and say any form of nonsense. Woman wey strong mind from before before. When you are big, you are BIG. |
Asiwaju Jagaban! Incoming GCFR by God's grace. |
Finally, we know why Dr Sam Amadi of Arise TV - a man who failed us in the Power Sector - is very partisan. He is PDP!!! |
God1000:Why are you wicked? Always feeling the need to cast aspersions, create falsehoods on anything APC or Asiwaju Tinubu (who by extension is linked by Shettima)? An audio recording has been debunked as fake, yet you are still insinuating that it is real by alluding to the debunking by a reputable news source as "damage control". You had better release the bile and hatred in your heart as it will do you no good. |
Obojuju:The presidential election is not a religious contest. Vote who you want to vote for and let others vote who they want to vote for. Stop scaremongering people with falsehood and religious/ethnic jingoism. On no metric of comparison is Peter Obi a better candidate. |
Thank God. So happy for their families that the gruesome ordeal is over! The opposition can look for something new to whine about! p.s. Government must never let this happen again! |
Beverlyjean:Lies will not make your candidate to win. Stop lying, stop lying, stop lying, stop lying. Haba! |
There are lies in this post. Dakuku Peterside is from Rivers APC and he has a senior role in the campaign council. Also, Ibim Semenitari who was SSG to Amaechi is also on the list. Amaechi should also look inwards. There must be something wrong with his leadership style in Rivers APC. |
Please,.please,.please Not again!!!! Save your prophecies, and let us all vote in peace. |
Tboy222:Putin has no legal basis to label him a traitor, as his crime was against the US and not Russia. To the US, he is a traitor. While to the Russians, he is a misguided fellow. |
samwheel:Yesterday was Monday, today is Tuesday. Go and prepare for work. |
With all due respect, Pat Utomi should shut up. As someone who has spent donkey years in Yoruba land, and has lived among Yorubas, if he doesn't understand the context in which Emilokan was used, then his education is a waste. On another note, we are waiting for the macabre drama of accusations and counter accusations that will happen between him and his current "I no dey give shishi" buddy after the election, so he should save his energy. |
Apparently Peter Obi and his running mate have chosen to discard Femi Falana's advice to desist from visiting those who "destroyed" Nigeria. We dey watch! |
tinsel:I think there is a separate Campaign Council for Wowen. I recall when Remi Tinubu and Nana Shettima went to see the APC Chairman, they mentioned something about coming to see him and run their plans on the campaign with him. I might be wrong though, but let's wait and see. I also share your sentiments on Betta Edu, that woman is an Energizer. She should be heading a directorate of her own. |
RepoMan007:Mention a credible source where any representative of the Russian government mentioned that they will overcome Kiev in 3 days. Stop masturbating on propaganda. |
joyandfaith:Have you bothered to check how many soldiers Ukraine currently has under arms? Ukraine has mobilised 4 times already and has over 700,000.00 if not even a million men under arms as at today. Now compare 700,000.00 to 190,000.00 and see if the force ratio isn't 2.5 to 1 in favour of the Ukrainians. Yet, the Russians are still holding territory which is equal to the size of Belgium plus Netherlands combined. You need to enlighten yourself and endeavour to apply critical reasoning. |
A country using an estimated 200,000.00 soldiers controls over 113,000.00 square kilometers of another country and yet they have failed? I am very surprised at how cheap you seek to sell the West's propaganda. |
Who interview epp? This is a time for consultations across the board, and not to be doing media rounds. |
Agboriotejoye:Fayemi is in the National Campaign Council. Aketi is a best fit for the job. |
Impressive! I saw the video where Asiwaju bowed to greet her, he is a true Omoluabi. |
michlins:Didn't a Southern muslim who is a minority in the Southern region politically fight his way to a presidential ticket? Please don't be intellectually lazy. |
Penguin2:Yes, according to the book of Penguin2 Chapter 1v1. |
Penguin2:Smart move to ensure that posterity knows what he did. If Tinubu had done "colour riot" on the numerous projects he did in Lagos, naysayers won't have been claiming that he didn't do anything. |
Kotudeji:He is mandated to deliver 25%. Same as Umahi and Uzor Kalu. APC cannot win the SE outright, that's a given |
GeneralDae2:You are right boss. Gas both in Natural form and LNG is also another way to go! |
Hmmn. I need we need to start telling ourselves the truth. We can no longer continue to be an oil economy. Asides from the wanton degradation of the natural habitat of the Niger Delta, it has also led to the emergence of so called "oil barons" who have used ill gotten wealth from illegal oil bunkering to foster and forment trouble within Nigeria. Actually, there has been a lot of improvement by the government especially the current one to improve other sectors of the economy such as Agriculture, Services and Digital economy. So as the moment, more efforts need to be geared towards reducing the oil component of GDP from its current ~10% to less than 5%. That way we will become more resilient, wean ourselves off the "resource curse" and broaden our economic base which will lead to economic development. We shouldn't also forget taxation. We need to increase our tax base and also tax ourselves more. For our society to develop, we need to earn more revenue for budgetary spending. To earn more revenue, we need to bear the pain of increased taxation. Better soup, nah money kill am o! It is well. |
There is no contradiction. The Budget Office DG said that the instruction to suspend the collection hasn't been communicated to the Ministry of Finance as it was only seen on the media. So this sensationalist headline is quite unnecessary. He further said that if the suspension is approved, then they will need to revise the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) which is being reviewed by the National Assembly, as it would mean that the projected revenue for 2023 will drop and that there will be need to either borrow to fund the gap in revenue or they will have to cut down on expenditures. Personally, I am surprised with the suspension by President Buhari. We need to boost government revenues and taxation is one of the fastest ways to achieving this. Our data in Nigeria is quite cheap compared to other nations of our development category. We need to fix things fast. |
gulfer:Please don't be an idiot. |
A true hero who died to save others. May he be remembered for his deed. |
