Happy birthday Princess Lala. More of God's blessings on your life. |
Hope their discussions are for the betterment of Nigeria as a whole. Bubu and the Jagaban. |
It is obvious that the Bristish are yet to recover from the loss of the 2018 World Cup hosting rights to Russia. If they are so pained as they still are, they can go ahead and boycott the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. They won't be missed. |
Masterito:I don't think that's the point here [in my answer]. No country in this world has the capacity to spend like the United States on wars, not even China. The US Dollar is the global reserve currency and that affords the US government to simply print as much as it needs and run up a deficit. Until the Dollars loses that status of reserve currency, their ability to finance wars unchecked will continue. |
CXLVII:Your statement and claims are false. How has Russia been unable to cater for infrastructure? A country that has the 3rd largest rail network in the world with over 80% of it electrified. It has the 5th largest Road network in the world with 1.28m km of roads with over 70% being paved roads. It has the 2nd largest Inland Waterways networks in the world with 102,000km of navigable rivers and river ports. You claimed that the German economy is 3 times bigger but this is false. The size of the German economy in 2020 (in PPP terms) was $4.4tn while the size of the Russian economy in 2020 (in PPP terms) was $4.09tn. So how is it 3 times bigger? You claimed that the Russians are on average "hungry people" but then it is world's largest producer of wheat, oats, barley and buckwheat, 4th largest producer of carrots, cucumbers and cabbages. All this despite being one of the countries with the harshest climates in the world. You seriously need to get your fact rights and remove your mouth from the feeding bottle of propaganda. |
Another idiotic news article masquerading as a sensational headline grabber from The Sun UK. I wonder who is mad, between Vlad and Boris. I think its Boris. |
Yanga sleep, trouble go wake am. If not that, how u go carry person "my car" use am go buy soap... There is more to this tori abeg |
Russia with my family. City...either Sochi or Vladivostok |
The UN is just being funny and political in a subtle manner. When the US withheld the money meant for Afghanistan that was saved in the Federal Reserve, where was the UN to complain about the suffering that such action will take? If its the Taliban government that the Afghans want, let them enjoy it in peace. Afterall true freedom is being able to be live with the choices you make. |
This is a good development and will lead to improvements in our military with regards to training, arms and equipment. Nigeria should have and maintain bilateral contacts with both West and East. It is also good that the Russians are taking more interest in Africa. Peace. |
MondayOsunbor:Your comment is false. The Syrian Civil War started in 2011 with the Arab Spring which was sponsored by an Alphabet agency from the United States that starts with Letter C. When the situation was dire, the Syrian government asked for military assistance from the Russian Federation. The Russians obliged, came in with heavy equipment and blew away all those terrorists masquerading as freedom fighters and restored the territorial integrity of Syria. Hence, there is peace in the land except for the enclave of Idlib which will be dealt with soon. Thanks to the peace that the Syrians are enjoying, they are no longer in the top headlines of the "terrorist loving international news media". So get your facts right. Russia didn't start the Syrian Civil War and Nigeria won't face a civil war either. |
How strange is it that this "convenient" cyber attack occurs when Biden is taking hits left and right for his poor handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal. Next step is blame the Russians and start a media blitz which will bury the Afghan issue at least for now. ![]() |
Hope this leads to full deregulation of the Petroleum sector. It's one thing to sign into law, it's another to implement. |
On a serious note, the number of beggars at Ajah is something else. Especially on the centre culvert, from the bridge all the way past Chicken Republic to Thomas juction. Beggar plus Okada plus Keke plus Agbero. A terrible mix indeed. |
Powersurge:Russia was never in Afghanistan and never got its ass whooped. For your information, the Soviet Union who was in Afghanistan was there at the behest of the legitimate government to fight against the mujahideen who were attempting to bring down the government with the support of the American government (Operation Cyclone). That same mujahideen metamorphosed into the Taliban you have today. The Soviets withdrew in 1989 when the government of Gorbachev was attempting to build peaceful relations with the West through "perestroika". They weren't defeated as the government they came into support still stood on its own for 3 years after the Soviets withdrew. Compared that to the Americans who haven't even left the Airport when the entire nation crumbled in a matter of weeks. Study your history and don't attempt to propagate falsehoods to please your masters. The Taliban can't do nada to either Tajikistan or Uzbekistan who are both under the protection of Russia. Neither can they attempt to infiltrate China as claimed. p.s. The combined losses suffered by the Americans and its lapdog allies in terms of money and equipment is several times in magnitude of what the Soviets lost in Afghanistan. |
At least he has an opportunity to test his strength |
Congratulations. Accounting isn't an easy course and your achievement is noteworthy |
The list isn't correct for Kenya and Uganda. Both countries have won more medals than what was listed. That aside, the level of performances coming from Africa corresponds to the level of investment into sports by African governments. The US, Chinese, UK and other successful countries invest massive, I mean massive amounts into sports usually running into millions or even billions of dollars. Also, a lot of their athletes have sponsors who provide them with the top class equipment and nutrition that they need. My final point with regards to the US and UK especially is the proliferation of blacks in their team. In sports where they do not naturally excel, they look for mercenaries who help them compete. |
Quite a shocker but then nothing in life is permanent. Wishing him success in his future endeavors. |
Rauf fighting for control in Osun Rauf fighting for control in Lagos Which way Rauf? ![]() |
socialmediaman:There is no current system known to the public that is able to shoot down hypersonic missiles. The S-500 Prometheus which was tested today can come close, but the Aegis system SM-3 missile is far from it. |
Here comes The Sun again and their propagandist articles.... Is it Putin that owns the hypersonic missile? Abeg they should shift base. |
Timekeeper:Don't be hasty to draw conclusions. Funny thing about most combat systems in the world is that they are practically untested against peer competitors in real combat conditions. So all we can do is speculate about which is better or which is worse until proven otherwise. |
Russia has always had a strong military and civilian aviation history. So whatever is unveiled today will definitely be class. |
I am surprised that The Sun would be used as a source. How can a missile system be a birthday present to Putin. Just like saying the F-35 programme was a birthday gift to Obama. This is clickbait journalism. ![]() |
Zhirinovsky:Good point and bluntly said. You do sound like your Russian namesake_Vladimir Zhirinovsky ![]() |
Tokkson:You didn't answer my question, so no need to answer yours. With regards to which is bigger or not, please do a research on Purchasing Power Parity as a basis of measuring economic output. It will be most helpful to you. |
compton11:Soviet Union placed missiles in Cuba, in retaliation for the United States placing missiles in Turkey. The Cuban Missile Crisis was resolved when both parties agreed to stand down. |
Tokkson:How do you define the strength of an economy? My point is that the Russian economy is bigger and this can be measured objectively. Strength of an economy in my view is subjective. For example, is the Nigerian economy stronger than say the Egyptian economy, the South African economy or the Kenyan economy? |
Tokkson:Ogbeni, I got my facts right and it is as attached.
|
shegzhkn:It will have been good if you can produce your own research instead of hurling insults. Using GDP in Purchasing Power Parity basis, the Russian economy is bigger than the economy of the United Kingdom. |
seanwilliam:Wrong. Russia is bigger than the UK economy wise. The UK is richer because they have a higher GDP per capita and a influence in the World economy due to alliance with the US. |
