Tinubu making his "wide consultations" |
Magnus Abe.... I never saw him as a political disciple or Associate of Tinubu. Surprising. |
Honestly, yes. Same like majority of his colleagues in the cabinet. |
All these Federal forces in Lagos sef. Police vs Governor Army vs Deputy This ain't right o ![]() |
Wheel of Time at present isn't close to Game of Thrones. It has a good screenplay and the adaptation from the books have been fair. But, the acting and CGI have been below par. They also didn't develop the Characters enough for the viewers to know their motivations or how exactly the 5 were linked to the Dragon Reborn. Fingers crossed for the second season sha. |
Aidejay:says Colonel Jessup, in a few good men. |
dlox147:Because the major news source for most is CNN and other Western affiliated media. Hence what they hear is "Russia/China is bad". "America/NATO is good". |
Peaceworld:Very funny, but hope you do know that Russia/USSR once attempted to join NATO, but it was rebuffed. Saying that NATO is a free organization is quite hypocritical, knowing that the same US who is the Al Capone of NATO will never allow say Mexico to join an alliance that is in opposition to US interests [or allow such organization to place military infrastructure on Mexican territory]. Just read about the Cuban Missile Crisis. You need to look at the bigger picture. Great powers always want a buffer from their 'perceived enemies'. In the case of US, it is the Atlantic, for the UK it is the English Channel/North Sea and also Northern Ireland to an extent, for China, it is the South China sea and the himalayas mountains. What do think is the buffer for Russia, a country has been invaded countless times by so called hegemonic Western powers? It is Ukraine & Belarus and both countries will never be allowed to join NATO. The US is attempting to encircle Russia, because Russia is a threat according to it. NATO is a tool of the US. This aim is to neutalize Russia's weapons before they can hurt or reach the US thus negating the principle of MAD (you can read on this). Mutual Assured Destruction is what kept the balance of peace during the Cold War and Russia is developing systems that ensures instant destruction of the US irrespective of its tactics of encirclement. Same is happening in the South China Sea to a different level. You need to open your inner eyes and see things. |
The big question is: Why is NATO, a seemingly "defensive alliance" moving its military infrastructure i.e. missile systems, military bases, aircraft towards Russian borders? Despite promises not to move an inch beyond the states already in NATO as at 1991 (after the collapse of the USSR), they reneged and absorbed Poland, the Baltics, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, the Balkans and now inching for Ukraine and Georgia. What did they expect the Russians to do? Funny that the United States which is over a 1,000 miles away from Europe is the one beating the drums of confrontation knowing that the spillover of any conflict will not impact their land except if there is a nuclear exchange I pity the Europeans, dem no get sense. |
Happy birthday Mr. President. May you receive more wisdom on this day to set right things that are wrong as you count down to vacating office. ![]() |
dgitrader:Good question. There sure is a powerful person behind them. |
So Airtel dropped out? Wow!! |
[quote author=rottennaija post=108285679]Check this out on twitter. is fantastic! |
The US is just being hypocritical. One would think that they do not have terrible human rights issues of their own especially against blacks and other minorities. This is not even including those tortured and held without charge in Guantanamo or those civilians killed in their numerous drone strikes in other nations. Please they should make it a full boycott including athletes. They won't be missed. p.s. They should also stop qualifying for Qatar 2022, afterall the Qataris too are "human rights violators". Nonsense and ingredients |
Newboss:You nailed it on the head. |
rottennaija:I really wish this was the case. A lot of people are still ignorant on these things. Even Nigerian talk shows that focus on Foreign Affairs regurgitate Western viewpoints and rarely discuss things in-depth. |
This is a good initiative. BUT.... Couldn't the tournament be named "Lagos Youth Cup" or something similar which could be held either annually or bi-annually? Coz with the name BOS Youth Cup, once he leaves office, nah there the matter go end. |
sharpwriter:Did you count the 100,000 troops yourself? Russia has troops on the Ukranian Border, same way Nigeria has troops on the Cameroon Border and the United States has troops on the Mexican border. Please you need to know more about world politics, it will be of help to you. |
incogni2o:I think you need to make independent research on matters before jumping to conclusions. |
Fake news and misleading headline. Russia decided yesterday for US diplomats who have spent more than 3 years in Russia to return back to the United States in retaliation for the US requesting Russian diplomats who have spent same amount of time to return to Russia. These tit for tat expulsions started in 2016 by Obama as part of the Russian collusion hoax but trust The Sun not to mention this as it wouldn't align with their scaremongering headline. Let me not even comment on the images in the article as that one is another kettle of fish. |
May their souls find eternal rest. Mining is a difficult but high paying job. It is for those who are "strong at heart" |
wink2015:No they do not. They are minding their business and expect other countries to likewise. Funny, that the Sun didn't mention that the United States is the pioneer of developing and testing anti-satellite weapons. Lolz |
Please can you share where it was initially published in Russian Secondly, what you mean by exaggerate? Do you have an independent means of validating what their capabilities are or you are just regurgitating Western media talking points? SmartyPants: |
Fryzi:You need to learn to accept certain things with a pinch of salt. The Sun is a tabloid piece. Sensationalism is their daily bread. |
HolinessForever and his fear mongering cum propagandist Sun UK Newspapers. Abeg make we hear word. |
NDLEA, please act! ![]() Na so Opioid addiction for US take start. |

Oh my my. Epe is the new GOLD. ![]() Cost of living i.e. accommodation, feeding, transport and even flexing is very very very low compared to main Lagos. With that salary, if you are a wise spender with good savings habit you will become a KING there. Please go for it. Depending on where your job is in Epe, places to rent include Papa, Iraye (Estate), Odomola or Poka/Imokun. You might want to avoid Aiyetoro because of noise. Good luck. p.s. Epe people love parties, so Photography will boom there. Also, you can base inside the Engineering campus which is also an option. |
The downloaded report wasn't signed by any of the panel members, hence it's validity is open to question. Although I would want to safely assume that the submitted copy was signed by all panel members. Long read. |
Evangelynn:Democratic Social Justice Warrior spotted ![]() CRT first started as a weird course in American Law Schools, but Uncle Joe's government has encouraged it to now be taught to children in Public Schools. That is where the backlash is coming from, and is further exacerbated by the USAG's decision to target parents who criticize teaching of CRT. https://www.heritage.org/education/commentary/attorney-general-garland-abuses-power-he-doesnt-have-threaten-parents |
The Western society is going mad due to Wokeism. The other day, it was Critical Race Theory being forcefully taught in some American Schools. Designating bathrooms as gender neutral and now subtly mandating boys to dress as girls in Scotland. Africa must align Eastwards where sense prevails, there is nothing for us in the West. |
ignis:It is alleged that the builder/developer is same as the owner. He is yet to be identified as dead to the best of my knowledge. |
