Funny thing with the British is that they aren't any match to Russia. Either economically or militarily. They are just like a pebble stuck in the sole of your shoe, a nuisance.

This is a test, and it is quite different from battle conditions. No enemy will aim to strike waters around the carrier. The carrier itself will be the target. |
Every single gun in that venue is carrying empty clips. Security protocols. Except for those in the hands of Presidential bodyguards. |
Funny that Vladimir Putin took questions from Random journalists even those from Europe and America. Joe Biden the brilliant only took questions from pre appointed reporters and guess what; all were Americans or working for American govt owned outlets i.e. Radio Free Europe. Who is hiding what? Also Joe Biden's comments in his press conference were just horrendous. Who doesn't know that America consistently interferes in the internal affairs of other nations. So sad |
Deutschland and Rossiya |
Terrible as it may sound, this isn't a bad idea. At least for one night, football can give man some needed relaxation at no cost. |
Sheffdon:The Soviet Union sent the first set of probes and orbiters to Mars in the early 1970s. They were the first to land successfully on Mars and capture the first images of Martian surface. However several missions after that including the latest ones done with Phobos Grunt wasn't successful. That doesn't diminish the impact that Russia/Soviet Union had in space exploration. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_program |
MERCHANDISER:They did in 1971 as the Soviet Union. Made the first landing on Mars and transmitted the first image of Mars Surface. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_program |
VillagePipu:The Chinese might be many things, but incompetent isn't one of them. https://www.france24.com/en/europe/20210507-who-approves-a-covid-19-vaccine-from-china-s-sinopharm-for-emergency-use China has developed vaccines and one was approved by WHO yesterday. |
Jestin:From age 3 upwards, let the mother or a matured female take charge. |
At the first onset of puberty. From age thirteen and upwards. At that age, they can comprehend and relate to what you are saying. |
Mr. Obaseki, over to you Most likely, the truth is somewhere in between. Money was printed, but not up to N60bn as claimed. |
How authentic is this source? |
CSTRR:S400 and S500 are different bro. China was among the first set of nations to purchase the S400. S500 is still under development. |
CSTRR:What's the face saving for, I am not a Russian nah ![]() The Chinese were given licence to reproduce the AL-31F and AL-25T engines used in the Russian Sukhoi jets. Whether, the Chinese went beyond that scope and began directly copying it, is a matter for another day. Afterall, the Chinese also produce WS-9 engines under licence from Rolls Royce and they are also accused of copying beyond scope. With regards to the S500, it is still in final phases of development. Hence issue of who or not to sell it to is not valid yet. Also note that no country sells the exact same specs of arms that they use internally to others. Whatever will be sold to the Chinese or any other buyer will be heavily modified. |
CSTRR:Not copied, but made under "licence" |
Goahead:China has a jet engine in development which is called the WS 10. It is currently in testing phase. |
CSTRR:The bolded is wrong. Both the Americans and Russians developed nukes independently without any German involvement. The Americans developed theirs with support of the British and Canadians. The Russians developed theirs solely, but had spies in the American (Manhattan Project) to double check their work. What the Americans gained from the Germans is rocket technology. You are correct on that. |
4tomandchi:Interesting, but the same Russians you disparage made the Mig25 and Mig31 interceptor aircraft which are both twice the speed of sound at Mach2.5. What the OP posted is still a conceptual design, let's see how it develops. ![]() |
Hmmn....Prince Charles the father is mature. |
His Opinion, their choice. |
JGrace1:I'm interested. What is your mode of sale and delivery? |
Laurene:Very true, thanks for the date correction. Thought the 4 I mentioned were up in '22. Gonna be hard to unseat Romney though, even through primaries. Let's see how things develop. |
Laurene:Neither of them have any clout left in the Republican party. The Anti-Trumpers will push forward Nikki Haley, |
Laurene:Burr and Toomey are already retiring. But Trump will certain primary Collins, Murkowski, Sasse and Cassidy in 2022. Romney I think is safe because he has a strong base amongst the Mormons of Utah. Trump's hold on the Republican party at the moment is very strong. |
bjtinz:So you agree that they are partisan and that their main aim of drumming the beat of covid casualties was to get a "reasonable president into power". Kudos man |
This herdsmen issue requires new strategies and a new way of thinking. The SW governors need to put on their thinking caps fast otherwise, this will escalate out of hand. Maybe it's time to practice "divide and rule" amongst them. Find out the sensible ones and use them to weed out the insensible ones. When they are done fighting amongst themselves, you can deal with the "sensible" remainder in an appropriate manner; either accomodating them or outright expulsion. |
The politics of the EU in general is hypocritical and Borell in particular is a big hypocrite. He went to Moscow with the specific intent of "pretending to strengthen ties" by dictating to Russia how to manage it's internal affairs. The Russians through Lavrov, their Foreign Minister, told him politely to go and pound sand. Navalny committed a criminal offence by scamming a company called Yves Roucher in conjunction with his brother. His brother was sentenced to prison but Navalny was given a suspended sentence because of his "political exposure". The terms of the suspended sentence mandated him to visit a Probation officer in a court every month and failing that his suspended sentence will be translated to a real one. Voila, Navalny in his wisdom claimed he was poisoned by Novichok. His German doctors without evidence claimed it was placed on a water bottle. Navalny himself via a joke call with an alleged FSB officer claimed it was placed on his underpants. Who should be believed? Remember that Novichok is this very deadly nerve poison that kills instantly. Yet, Navalny survived and previously Skripal survived. Fast forward to after Navalny being discharged from hospital in Germany with a clean bill of health in December. He was requested to return to Russia as part of the terms of his suspended sentence, but he refused. Only for him to majestically decide to come to Russia in January with a fake video of Putin's palace, a doctored video that takes an incomplete mansion owned by someone else and ascribe it to Putin. Navalny is just a nuisance, a useful idiot for the Western powers and only persons who will bother killing him are his Western sponsors when they are tired of using him. If the Russian government or the Russian security services want to kill him, he would be dead already. They claim he is the major opponent to Putin in Russia, which a big joke. At the height of his popularity, he ran for Mayor of Moscow in 2009 and received just 15% of the votes. Trust Navalny though, he claimed he was rigged. His alleged popularity stems from kids who love his fantastic tiktok videos and bombastic Youtube videos just for laughs and nothing else. At the height of Brexit protests in the UK, Russia didn't send diplomats to "observe the protests". Neither did they do that at the height of Yellow vest protests in France where police were violent in the suppression of protests, or during the Black Lives Protest in the US, or during anti-government protests in Sweden, or anti-abortion protests in Poland or the current Farmers protest in Germany. But yet the West feels they can do so in Russia, why wouldn't the Russians not expel them? Politics and Diplomacy is Quid Pro Quo. P.S. My post is long, but the facts must be put to the public to make informed opinions. Most Nigerians when it comes to Foreign matters affecting Russia, just guzzle down in a gullible the false picture that the West presents to them. |
Interesting information. No 6. Elon Musk likes Crypto ![]() |
Hmmn. From the employee's point of view, he did nothing wrong, he was simply describing his mum in a honest way. But...the point the boss was trying to stress is that the employee's job is to describe people or situations using polished words (that's a key aspect of PR). If he could fail in such a scenario with his mum, how much less some client or even his colleague. It's very harsh sha and the boss overreacted. Twitter story with wahala ![]() |
Congratulations to him as he transitions to a new life. Like or hate him, he definitely brought changes to America. Changes which can only be judged by posterity. |
I think this news should be accepted with a pinch of salt. Despite misgivings about Museveni's rule for the past 28 years and more, Bobby Wine has no mathematical chance of defeating him (even if the election is free and fair). Projecting him as the possible winner via untrustworthy news medium is a recipe for post electoral violence. Africans should be wiser. |
