Well said. I have found out that most lagosians are myopic people that have not ventured to go out of lagos state and call other places primitive. It is quite unfortunate. Some of the popular pple in lagos are even Ibadan born and breed...eg Mike Adenuga, Olu maintain, Ouilox owner ( Mr Pellar). Even Wole Soyinka is more Ibadan sef. And this is just to mention a few.
Ibadan is not a village but a city state and bigger in size than all lagos state combined. QED

Nigeria army is so corrupt. I honestly doubt this young man will get any justice.
My guess is that the army are looking at us "bloody civilians" complaining because nothing will be done as we all know.
Shame of a country...
Religion / Re: Can Muslims Uses Mohammed's Name To Cast Out Demons? by macIB(m): 12:16pm On Feb 06, 2016
what is your problem with the way others do their things?
Christians are some of the most condescending when it comes to religious matters; along with muslims as well, unfortunately.
What happens to whatever suits your belief @op, live with it.
mind you, it is not only in Jesus name demons can be cast out (pls dont start quoting the bible). I have seen a babalawo (yoruba medicine man) cast out demons in a man and the man is living demons free for the past God knows when. I have also seen a sikh (a religion sect in india) did an exorcism on a lady and she has been living demon free too. All the above were done without the mention of Jesus christ's name during both exercises.
@op, Do you think God the father only listens to shortsighted people like yourself that believe without Jesus' name nobody can be saved?
@op come down from your high mounted horses.....

Business / Re: How Diamondbank Stole My #20,000 Via ATM Debit by macIB(m): 5:49am On Feb 06, 2016
The same situation happened to me as well. After i realised i was just wasting my time with diamond bank i had to destroy my ATM card and discontinue my association with the bank.
My advise....If you have the time and money to prosecute legal action, you may as well go ahead but if not, truncate your association with diamond bank and go with other bank that will listen to you especially GTB.
All the best

Tell her to enroll into the university nursing program. Soon and very soon those diploma nursing school will soon be a thing of the past in Nigeria starting from 2017 or thereabout. However if the university has not clicked, she can just keep herself busy at a school of nursing for the time being. But that nursing university degree is a must
Health / Re: Why Don't Nigerians Have Allergies? by macIB(m): 7:10am On Sep 03, 2015
enieme:

Hmm, u don't nowwit. What ur explaining is a particular kind of allergy. Allergies reactions may have to do within d body or outside the body.
You both are right....allergic reaction is what is known in medicine as hypersensitivity reactions of which there are 4 types. The most common that we can see as "mere irritation" is the type 1 and it is what is seen in asthmatic patients. It is also seen in holdhouse and everyday use items. It is rare but not that rare perse. Pple have it but most times it presents as skin rash and if you don't get exposed to it again and often, one may tend to overlook it. However, if it gets to cause serious complications like asthma does, then one seek medical help. I have seen pple reacting to leather, rings, even papers and all in Nigeria. Another issue is documentation and public awareness. As you knw in Nigeria if it is not ebola like disease or AIDS or typhiod, Nigerians feel it is not any illness worrying about.
Hope this help

Simple case of Puerperal Psychosis...!

It is not devil's work or intentional act of wickedness, just a case of a woman with Puerperal psychosis that needs helps from the well informed. Mind you, she may have been showing some signs of this illness around the time of the childbirth only if the medical personnel had been very observant but still it maybe difficult to also pick out as well.

Politics / Re: Buhari/apc Convince Me To Vote You In Area Of 24/7 Electricity. by macIB(m): 1:44am On Jan 03, 2015
tetraman:
The election isn't a referendum on Buhari, it's a choice between two viable candidates. One has promised and failed. Another is promising.
It's you and your wife's choice. Either you are happy with what you have today then vote Jonathan. If you want something different, vote buhari. No one can give a detailed plan if he has no access to the data of what is on ground and what is planned. The guy is not a magician. Our diseases are indiscipline and corruption. Everything else is a symptom. Buhari is the surgeon. Once he cuts away the corruption, then our healing process can begin.

I wish you and your wife a blessed year ahead.

Aptly put. God bless you tetra man!

Politics / Re: 2015: APC Slams Primate Olabayo Over 2015 Prediction by macIB(m): 6:53am On Dec 30, 2014
Pedagogue:
I'm a Christian.
Believe me, we are in end times!

The role RELIGION is playing in 2015 politics is stunningly strange.

We've moved from 'No to Muslim-Muslim ticket'; 'No to Catholic-Catholic ticket' to 'Prophets' making (whatever) predictions!!!

In a sane clime, Prophet Olabayo's 'prophecies' would not have been dignified with any response by a high ranking party official. But in Nigeria, you dare not take such chances...Our people are very gullible. Any statement by anybody with the tag of 'Pastor' or 'Imam' has a sanctimonious effect on a vast majority of Nigerians.

Little wonder that GEJ/PDP waited impatiently for Buhari to announce Fashola or any other Muslim for that matter as his VP candidate. That last minute choice of a RCCG Pastor as Buhari's VP dealt a very terrible blow to their political calculations. But PDP/GEJ have not given up. They cannot even afford to give up. They know too well that the only political weapon they can use against Buhari is ethnic/religious propaganda...Nigerians, the real 2015 politics is about to begin. I have it on good authority that PDP will insidiously invade the social media in a way that has never been seen before. Many new accounts will be opened on twitter, fb, nairaland, linda Ikeji and even Bella Naija...and they will be talking about 1 thing: BUHARI's Islamic/Northern agenda.

My source went further to tell me that some of the phantom monikers that will be opened will be tweeting/posting as if they are supporters of Buhari/APC. Nigerians, SHINE YOUR EYES! Let's call their bluff FOR ONCE!!! They think we are fools. They steal our money and allow Christians and Moslems to be killed by insurgents and they still want another 4 years? Hell NO!!!

Tell me, who's a Christian? My Bible tells me that The Apostles were first called 'CHRISTIANS' in Antioch because the people there saw the life of Jesus Christ in them! They did not call them Christians because they'd wined and dined with Christ! No!!! It was because of the kind of life they were living...so, tell me, Is GEJ a Christian? Is corruption, ethnic bigotry, crass impunity a life of Christ? Is FFK (the self-appointed Christ-defender) a 'Christian' ? These people are 'Christians' because of accident of birth; and the same applies to Buhari....So, whether anybody likes it or not, I am, by the grace of the Almighty God a Christian and I will, God willing, vote for APC/BUHARI/Osinbajo on February 14, 2015.

...and of course, I will vote for Ambode/APC in 2015. I know how Lagos was in 1999; I know how it is now. This is not to say that Agbaje is not a person of integrity! No! It is about his party. I will rather have Tinubu as my governor's godfather than have Bode George/Ogunlewe. I will rather have a party that has been consistent in it's developmental plan for Lagos than have a party that has a different mentality! If Fashola could surpass Tinubu that was seen as better than his contemporaries...then Ambode will (I believe) be better than Fashola!!!

***Really sorry for the long epistle/diversion from the main topic.

Well said and God of Adeboye Bless you!

Hence I agree with the govt it shld be removed. that star of David is everywhere in our daily life esp old buildings in western Nigeria. a good example is UCH in ibadan and the place is being used daily by everybody with no complaints.

Ochek: Until the Oyinbos can actively support a black man's disease like SICKLE CELL ANAEMIA, make them no expect "ghen" from some of us.

All the management and longevity you see among sickle cell patients is due to them. Infact they have tried. Why can't you also tell your own govt to invest in research instead of buying expensive material items like houses ans private jets! Don't blame the oyinbos, blame your black brodas in power all over Africa.

madamoringo: Nigerians and Africans just do not and cannot get it! Their brain and that of their leaders is made of cast iron lead + stone: stop waiting for others to care for your future when you steal $ 20 B that could be enough to finance AIDS + Ebola drug for a dozen years + enough left to build the best health facilities in the 6 regions of Nigeria. Then you can charge the Congolese, Senegalese, Ghanaians, etc any amount of money to treat this sickness. Well, if GEJ does not care a of 300 kidnapped girls and his fellow agents even deny that the kidnapping even took place, why should a foreign country care if all of una are kidnapped by eboela? How is that salt and bitter kola solution working out for ya, you lazy incompetent Nigerians and shameful people??

It is always better to keep quiet and learn... Than to learn via your own bad experience.

So my parents taught me.

Mr ugo, I guess you shld learn from me who has done a research on this issue and on cancers and carcinogens, than depend on hearsay for information which is not tenable in the scientific world.
It is better to draw a chair, sit down and listen and finally learn reality!

Tmex: fine, u said we have them in negligible quantity,do you regard the exhaust from a truck as being negligible too? And for your info the cancer doesn't just grow overnight it takes time before all this things starts manifesting and mind you prevention they say is better than cure .
Mind you car exhaust bring out carbon and some minerals from burnt fuel. Carbon does not cause cancer but only leaves anthracotic residue in the lungs. Carbon is inert! The other minerals from burnt fuel causes fibrotic lung diseases in the very very long run and not cancer pls! We have not got to the level of technology in this country to develop all these diseases just like that! Check your facts before you post. Medical knowledge are abound on the internet. Don't depend on conspiracy theorist for information pls!
