barcanista: They have started with religious blackmail. OP no sensible Nigerian who's past the age of 21 will support the hat-wearing clueless President in Aso Rock. It is not about Islam, Christianity or hindu, it is about the failure, I mean epic failure of one failed President called Goodluck. As a Christian, I am ashamed of Jonathan. We all have Muhammadu Buhari, a man to change to rest on, I urge ALL Muslims, ALL Christians, ALL pagans and All atheists to reject Jonathan at the polls. Vote M Buhari 4 President What has Buhari ever done for Nigerians? |

Dannyset: Thread like dis is not good for our polity, especially at dis crucial time. Its bad. It can lead to religious war. I am a Christian, and am voting and seriously campaigning for Buhari. If Jonathan had done well, I won't be against his re-election. But because dey are about to crumble dis economy, we hav no choice than to vote them out. But still, dis is not good for the unity of dis Country. We the youth shouldn't involve ourselves in dis. Africa has Nigeria has it's largest economy under GEJ, how has the economy crumbled? |

RevDesmondJuju: Osogbo has ritualists on the prowl. How you going to convince an elderly German couple that Osogbo is worth visiting?
Taraba is beautiful and the least dense state in Nigetia. Southern Adamawa as well. Gombe has a lot if hills but nobody is ever going to venture there with bokos breathing down their necks.
The southwest has nothing to offer. So also the southeast. The Niger Delta has been destroyed but I remember how beautiful the mangrove wetlands were during sunset. RevDesmondJuju: Have you left that hinterland rural enclave osogbo in your life before?
Funny thing about most of you here is that you don't know anything about Nigeria beyond your Local government.
In Taraba, elephants are a menace to farmers apart from those nomadic pests. I see you have a problem with Yorubas, you keep going on the offensive...even going out of point who ever asked u about the South West? Why don't you mind your business? First it was Oyo u sought to offend then osogbo na wa for all this tribal bigots |

sCun: That animal constitutes a real nuisance. I lived close to river Niger between Kwara and Niger state during NYSC, I know the kind of problems hippos cause for fishermen and boat transporters, they were responsible for a lot of boat mishaps. So the reason for killing it might not be for its meat alone. That's because they aren't conserved...go to developed nations you see animals kept in favourable conditions...hardly any conflicts like boat mishap There's a problem with the way you people behave |

cirmuell: "God's purpose for mankind, his intention for creation & future of mankind"- you can never and will never find an answer to this question.
Now, Oluwa is involed in this one lol. You see the issues you raised are more of a spiritual phenomenon than physical, and at that, you may not find a proper explanation(in the physical) as to why those things happened the way they did.
Why other living organisms die? I think the moment those guys (broke the rule/recieved their curses) was the moment everything else took a new turn, more like a chain reaction. I think it's safe to say their actions changed the course of everything else around them.
And again, what if others weren't actually structured to live forever? I believe everything we need to know is there in the natural world around us, all we need to do is SEE IT So I can know the creator's purpose for my life, I can know the creator's purpose for anything I set mind to What do u mean by spiritual phenomenon? is Nature a spiritual phenomenon? Before I address the bold, can u provide Bible passages that state this? |

malvisguy212: it's you who are being bias, I provide multiples of verses that indicates God exist before time begin, you don't need a teacher to tell you what that mean.science say caused and effect are not real in the realm of outside time, and the bible indicated God dwell in out side time, what more do you want? Beside,in my earlier post I say, the bible was not written for the sake of science, but for man to have a personal relationship with is creator. You didn't provide verses stating God exists outside time |

Today I had the pleasure of speaking with some Christian evangelists...the man among them was quite sharp as he always had some kind of rebuttal. We discussed God's purpose for mankind, his intentions for creation and intentions for the future of mankind Now how do one know the intentions of a God, who can't show himself but hides outside existence But this isn't even the point The man said Humans were structured to live forever and not die but sin brought death. Now if we are to believe this tale of Adam and Eve, taking the eating of the fruit as cause for death to humanity, tripping us of immortality...what do we say about animals? Did they sin too? Did they all eat an abominable food? Did the first Cow eat grass on a forbidden area? Did the first star also sin? Like many of you should know...stars die too Look at Nature, everything dies so others can live off it's materials In secondary school, I learnt that the Earth and all those living gain a whole lot from the biomass of dead people, so if people didn't die but only kept procreating like rabbits and chicken, at a point there won't be enough energy to sustain us all and we would all die out eventually But o boy all this wan no reach for a Christian to see the logic...the man still claimed all this I stated are philosophies of men made foolishness by his God(colossians 2:8, 1 Corinthians 1:19-21) How do we get educated people to actually be EDUCATED? |

malvisguy212: when you dream, your spirit travels a far distance from your body, but in a real sens you are asleep for only a minute. The bible do not give information about what you want, but the bible make it clear that God dwell in a spiritual realm. ( Isaiah:57:15). We live in a physical world with its four known space-time dimensions of length, width, height (or depth) and time. The God of the Bible, however, dwells in a different dimension" the spirit realm" beyond the natural perception of our physical senses. It's not that God isn't real; it's a matter of Him not being limited by the physical laws and dimensions that govern our world. He is spirit (John:4:24). Can you provide Bible verses to the bold? Nowhere in the Bible is it said that spirits aren't bound by our understanding of time...I want you look at it this way..as a Christian why are you making assumptions? I thought the Bible thinks for u...it surprised me to see you claim something so unbiblical |

So it only works on polytheistic gods? I thought it was all about spirituality.
Can you elaborate on the bolded? Thanks. you still don't understand a thing of what am saying... Am sorry but it's very pitiful that you don't understand a thing from the idea of a people's culture relating to spirituality You keep taking paganism like a religion that preaches faith or demands worship for it's God...why not seek the knowledge, obtain it and decide what you do with it? One thing I can advice you is that in Paganism, knowledge is key, after that you step to understanding the myths and how it relates to reality In comparing two deities, their tales and scriptures are studied and understood...if they share the same personality then of course they are one and the same spirit...jst explained in different myths Can you say Allah and Sango have the same personality? I doubt that..but if anyone can, then there's no problem African education...education based on African knowledge and culture |

san316: The ethnic card again.
You are accusing the north of born to rule mentality. please consider the following.
1. the north voted Obj into power against gmb . 2. it was obj that forced yaradua down our throats. he wasn't that popular in the north. 3. The APC primaries was a well contested election in which relatively all regions were represented. they decided to choose GMB, a northerner. if rochaz were chosen, he would have got our support still. 4. It was PDP that refused to have a primary and gej suppressed all possible contestant. he was the consensus candidate, another word for imposition. 5. In 2011 PDP primaries, gej was overwhelmingly voted by delegates with a chunk of northerners. 6.If GEJ has actually done well, his people would still support him. but the Christians have born the brunt of his bad leadership. 7. people from the south now support GMB not because of his root but because he is the alternative to the cancerous government we currently have. 8. the useless gej you are having high bp for is as slavish as you can ever imagine. if he really had the interest of the ss, why is it that northerners like ibb and abdussalam still have the lion share of oil wells in Nigeria.
Finally, I leave you with an African proverb
"A madman dancing in the market is entertainment to the onlookers but a shame to his relatives"
Are you not ashamed that gej has disgraced your people? How has GEJ disgraced us in the South? These northerns supporting buhari should be ashamed of themselves, this man of Goodluck gave them better education, improved agriculture for them, gave them good roads, empowered their women...all these none of their so called brethren did for them He remains the best president Nigeria ever had Go GEJ |
